Amrita signs yet another film

Amrita Singh is returning to films, slowly but surely. After signing Honey Irani's quartet casting coup (co-starring Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dimple Kapadia), Amrita has now bagged The Kalyug to be directed by Mohit Suri. The film co-stars Kunaal Khemu, Deepal Shaw, Smilie and Ashutosh Rana.

"Amrita Singh plays a deadly negative character, much more vicious than she is in Kkavyanjali," Mukesh told us. "And Emraan Hashmi may make a special appearance," he hinted. We hope Amrita does not have date clashes with tough taskmaster Ekta Kapoor for Kkavyanjali!
