| Once again it's that time of the year for which the entire Indian television fraternity awaits!
The sixth edition of the Indian Telly Awards is on it's way. The grand gala event will be held on 24th November 2006 at the Chitrakut Grounds, on New Link road in Andheri (West). The awards celebrate excellence and are given out to the best performances, programmes and various other important categories which determine talent during the year. The brainchild of Indian Television Dot Com founder Anil Wanvari they are in their sixth edition and continue to evolve as the industry evolves. Labelled as the Oscars of the Indian television industry, the Emmys of India - the Sixth Indian Telly Awards this time around are going to honour winners who have been nominated in more than 30 popular categories. Needless to say, the mega preparations are in full swing! Leading TV celebs have been roped in who will render breathtaking performances on this star studded night. The whole industry is already abuzz with the nominations being out! Here's a brief look at the nominees of the top three popular categories.
