In short and sweet the story is about a love story between Kavya n Anjali. In detail, Anjum n Anjali are twin sisters and their parents are family friends of Kavya's parents. During their childhood days, they decide that Anjum n Kavya shud get married. All those years, Anjum loves kavya without seeing him but kavya rejects as he wants to concentrate on his career. Hearing his rejection thru Nitya (kavya's mom), Anjum commits suicide. Now, Anjali wants to take revenge of her sister's death. Moreoevr, Nitya is step mom of Kavya and right from the beginning she hates him within her heart but pretends that he is her life and acts as if she loves him.
So, Nitya joins hands with Anjali and Anjali introduces herself to Kavya as Anjum and loves her. When he was abt to bring her to Nitya and rest of the family, they (Nitya n Anjali) preplan the accident of Anjali (acting as Anjum) on the way. So Kavya thinks that Anjum is dead. And gets back to his univ (in switzerland) to complete his graduation. When he returns back to India, Anjali appears infront of him as Anjali and Anjum (as ghost) as weelll jus to make him mentally imbalance. So this continued for more than months, finally Kavya comes to knwo abt it but after few sad episodes, bcoz of ved (their son) they re-unite.
Then enters Shaurya (Iqbal) as Kavya friend. In a party arranged by Shaurya, in fire accident, trying to save Ved, Kaavya dies. Now shaurya is helping the family and Anjali. He loves anjali but anjali is always in love with bhoot of Kavya. Babuji decided that they both shud get married and even anjali (recently) agreed to the proposal. Now the current track is involved in their marriage and the secret of relation between Shaurya n Nirmala (first daughter in law of babuji- first son of the family who was once adopted by babuji--but by knowing this son left the family and died and Miss Nirmala returned to take revenge of this by taking away al their property)
