36th Dance Rehearsal
A- Let me position the camera properly, just a minute.
K- You are very persistent, you want every step right.
A- I cant help it. I just want to win
K- what happens if Kajal or Kripa win
A- It's the same thing, we won. If they win or me. Um.. Lets see. Rewinding the tape.
K out here, your right hand was not in place.
K- God that's too much. This camera should be broken.
A- No don't break it. It captures very good moment of my life. It's one of the few things I'm attached to. Lets start from the top again.
The music was on. A counted in her head. They started dancing. Kunal peeked to see whats happening. Gave a wave and silently walked on his toes to a corner. He smiled as she danced. They danced for the next half an hour. He saw them dance. Thinking, He is not a bad dancer. But he thinks too much of himself. He is not that cool as he think he is. He snapped out of his thoughts and saw K put both his hands on A's waist, preparing to lift her up. Kunal's eye went red in anger. How dare he touch her like that. He felt like punching Kavya's face..
K- That was a short rehearsal compared to the rest. We only practiced for 3.5 hours. Come let me drop you.
A- Why you got a car now?
K- No, but I bought a bike.
A- oh god! A girl won't be impressed if you have a bike.
K- Chodo, I'll drop you.
A sat on the back, He turned the gears and pushed to go. Kunal came running behind. Anjali! I have to talk to you. Too late they left.
Latifa mom are you going somewhere. Yes, Anji I'm going to Crawford market to buy some materials.
For what, what are those festivals, Dashera and Diwali are coming up. I want to make a dress for you. (Latifa mom is not Indian, She's from Porta Rico and are conversations are in Spanish.)
What Latifa mom, those festivals are months later, and we can give it to a tailor.

Ok I'm coming too. I'll get to see chavi mausi too. Chavi mausi is our costume designer. She specializes in making stage performance costume. Like the ones you see in award shows. Ill call Kunal too.
Kunal- I don't want to go shopping with you. Its boring kaam.
Anjali- Don't wine you were the one who complained the most last time of the costume.
Kunal- ofcourse, the pants were so tight, that they looked like tights. That looks eew.
Anjali- You spend too much time in front of the mirror, grooming yourself. Getting all your spikes in the right place. God.
Kunal â That's why all girls marte hain mughpe.
Anjali- If we go on like this. We will be talking till midnight. Just come ok.
Final 'D' Day
Latifa mom- So are you nervous?
Everybody- Ya very
Anjali- I'm really nervous. I just hope I don't trip or loose a beat or something.
Kavya- Nothing of that sort will happen. We have practiced 58 times. No doubt.
A- but what matters what you do on stage, the rehearsals don't count.
K â You look really pretty. Like a Barbie doll?
A- Barbie doll, according to me that's an insult? Barbie doll is for babies?
Anyways thanks. You too look dashing in that dress.
K â oh thanks and sorry.
A- Gosh we are next. Best of luck.
K- Best of luck to you too.
The performance went perfectly well and they had to win the competition.
A- Yes we won. I cant believe it we won. She went and hugged every possible person. Oh I'm sorry (to K) look we won.
K- So who is keeping the trophy.
A- Of course me. You will keep getting to do movies. But all ill have is this.
K- On that note. Anjali I got an offer to do a music video for Abhijeet. Cool isn't it.
A- God he is so lucky, he gets all that a person dreams to. So who else is in the video, only you or some girl too.
K- I don't know about that yet.
A- This might be the last time we will ever meet, unless we remain friends. I have your phone number. But I prefer chatting on msn. So could you give your email id.
