Part XIV

Kavya and Anjali are shocked. Kavya's thoughts race past him as he tries to remember if Nitya Nanda, his mother is responsible. But first they have to rush Shlok to the hospital. But what about the baby?
Anjali is convincing herself, Kavyanjali must be somewhere inside playing or maybe-
Who knows where her lil one is. As fear mingles with their every single thought Kavya and Anjali rush Shlok to the hospital.

Anjali is inconsolable and Kavya doesn't know how to help, he is scared for his baby too. As they leave for the police station to lodge a complaint for their missing baby, they wonder if they should inform anyone back in Mumbai about Shlok. But Shlok is in good care now, so that can wait.

Where is the baby? Where is Yug's kishmish? Yug Mittal, Yes, they have to inform him of kishmish. Anjali calls Yug and cannot reach him, Anjali keeps trying and leaves several messages and yet no response. Where is Yug when she needs him the most? Anjali always had Yug to fall back upon. Even when her Kavya lost faith in her, Yug was always there, he always pulled a smile out of nowhere. Anjali started to fear the worst. Kavya wanted to call Nitya Nanda, did she know Kavya knew? But could she stoop so low? Kavya could control himself no longer, he called home. Everyone was looking for Kavya and they were relieved to hear his voice. Kavya went on to ask Bauji about Nitya's whereabouts. Nitya, Vanshita and Disha were preparing for another party to welcome the Nanda heir.

But the Nanda heir was already here, and she was missing. Kavya's convinced himself his worst fears were probably not true, Nitya had nothing to do with this. He forgot to check about Pammi, would she be so heartless to kidnap a child. Oh god! His baby was "kidnapped", she was missing. Who was she with? As he tried to think he glanced at a dumbfounded Anjali. She was a mother, and her baby was missing. How that must hurt. He hugged her, told her to be strong and god would show them the way. Anjali didn't trust Kavya, No, she had to reach Yug. And her phone rang.

Anjali answered the phone with a trembling voice, it was Yug. And she started to cry. Kavya took the phone and tried to explain to Yug. What would he explain to Yug? That they lost his kishmish, while they were busy losing themselves in each other's arms. Kavya realized they were back at Anjali's home as he explained to Yug. Anjali wanted to check around the home one last time, maybe her angel was hiding somewhere. As they looked, someone grabbed Anjali's hand. Anjali turned around and an angry Kavya was just about to punch the man when he looked up.

It was Yug, and his eyes spit FURY.

and yay! Yug, Kavya and Anjali are all portrayed in a nice light...plz continue with that... i cudnt bear it if Yug was sumhow responsible for teh kidnappin...to take his baby far away from every1...lol, im sayin this that incase u get an idea like that even down the track...PLZ dun follow it 😆

but it does seem like from the story that Yug will remain nice...yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😃

Part XV

Yug could destroy everything. Anjali had never seen such rage in Yug before. He was incapable of anger, she thought. As Anjali looked down before she spoke, and there she saw kishmish in Yug's arms. Kavya and Anjali were ecstatic, relived and grateful all at once. Yug handed Anjali his kishmish and walked off. Yug was gone faster than Kavya and Anjali could think. What had happened?

Yug's eyes chased their every thought and Kavya and Anjali knew talking with Yug right now, was NOT AN OPTION. They tried to reach Yug's mom to see if she could help or knew anything. No, Nivee didn't know anything. They decided to check on Shlok now that Kavyanjali was with them. They reached the hospital and both Kavya and Anjali were happy to Shlok doing much better. Anjali was just happy to have her baby back; she didn't care about anything at this point. Kavya however was still worried and tried to talk with Shlok.

It was Saket. Even as Kavya was helping himself get a hold on himself, "It was his mother then; she had sent Saket to kill his child. Could someone be capable of such evil"? Kavya was thinking and making plans on how best to handle the situation and protect Kavyanjali. However, Yug was already on his way to Mumbai to do it. Yug reached the Nanda house and calmly asked for Nitya and Pammi. Yug's uncharacteristic silence had stunned everyone. There was absolute silence, and not a word was spoken. As his pregnant sister walked down Yug waited. As Pammi came down stood next to Nitya, Yug turned around. He had a gun pointing straight at Nitya. As a terrified Nitya and everyone looked on, Yug spoke, finally.

"Don't mess with my baby" he said. The message was loud and clear. All those that wanted to hurt Kavyanjali Mittal would have to take on her father.

Part XVI

As a horrified Nanda family looked at Yug, Dida managed a touch of a smile. And Bauji noticed. Something was wrong; he had to find out, but what? Before anyone could speak with Yug, he was gone. Everyone was shaken but only Nitya and Pammi knew why. Yug was gone before anyone realized.

As the family called Nivee to understand, Nitya Nanda was working her mind hard. Where was the idiot Kavya at a time like this, Nitya thought? How she and Pammi could have manipulated his weak mind. The trusting fool that he was, would easily shield his evil mother and wife from Yug Mittal. She had to call Kavya and put on her faade again. This time who would she target- Yug Mittal. If she had to get to the baby, she had to get to Yug first. Little did Nitya know, her son Kavya had found his brains a while back. She called Kavya and told him about the happenings, and while Pammi pretended some more and acted like a complete moron, Kavya listened quietly.

Then he put the phone down. He knew what he wanted to know, now was the time to bring his baby and his love home. That was the only way they would be safe. As all of them flew to Mumbai they made a plan. Kavya would pretend he knew nothing about Nitya but that he found Anjali and the baby. He would tell them that he believes now that Kavyanjali is his and he wanted to make up to Anjali. This way he could counter every one of his mother's evil intentions and be with his love and baby. This was a chance for him to be with his daughter and protect her. Kavya and Shlok agreed both for different reasons. Kavya thought "This will give me time to find the mental strength to turn my mother in; after all she is my mother. And my wife, she is carrying my child, what about that?" And Shlok thought "This will find me time to bring Kavya and Anjali closer and also find evidence against Nitya."

Anjali didn't agree. She had Yug on her mind. Back in Mumbai, every single member of the Nanda family had Yug Mittal on their mind.

Bauji was trying hard to understand what brought Yug to the point that he had come. He had pointed a gun at Nitya. Then he thought about Dida, what was going on in Dida's mind. What was she thinking? Vanshita was terrified and was trying to find out from Nitya what Yug meant by "my baby", was there someone else in line for the family property. An agitated Nitya asked her to leave her alone; she had other things on her mind. To get rid of the damn baby, so she could have the property. Pammi, Kavya's devious "wife" was busy planning as to how she would work her mother, Nivee, against Yug.

As all the Nanda family was busy planning and scheming against Yug and he lay by the pool, relaxing, chatting on his phone. As a tense Nivee looked on at Yug's strange behavior, Anjali and Kavya were driving to Yug's home. On seeing lil Kavyanjali for the first time Nivee broke down. She was regretful for her behavior in the past but was angry with Anjali for treating her like an outsider. Looking at the love in Nivee's eyes Anjali teared up again. Why was it that this family, who had no relationship with her baby whatsoever, whom she had hurt and maybe even used, love her so much?

Kavya asked for Yug and an already worried Nivee pointed them to Yug. She had never encountered this Yug, she was his mother and had raised him all by herself and yet this was a Yug she never had met before. Anjali went to the pool with Yug's kishmish. Anjali didn't know what to say. And as she stared him for awhile, she saw a father. Yug looked back at Anjali. His presence had a healing touch. Yug walked up to them and took his kishmish in his arms.

Just as Shlok and Kavya were explaining their plan to Nivee to make sure she knew about Pammi, Yug walked in with kishmish and Anjali. Still serious, he asked everyone to come with him to the Nanda house. As they drove to the Nanda house, Yug called someone. On reaching the Nanda home they all walked in, a team of officials joined Yug. Yug spoke with Nivee and with someone on his team. Anjali didn't say a word, she trusted Yug more than herself. Nivee said Yug had an announcement to make. An older looking man from the team made an announcement that Kavyanjali Mittal, 4 month old daughter of Yug Mittal would inherit all of the Mittal empire. Yug looking straight at Nitya Nanda said,

"This is MY daughter, Kavyanjali Mittal. She will never need the Nanda treasure. Please carry on your vicious game with the rest of the Nanda family. Leave my baby alone"
