New take on kavyanjali

Im a new member in this forum but have been a silent reader and quite enjoy indian television and its bizzare take on life in the soaps.

Here is my take,

Part I

Anjali is lost in thought. Has her decision not to marry Yug has proven her to be a heartless woman incapable of loving anyone. He had held her in her time of need, stood by her without any questions, and loved her unconditionally. Yug never doubted her dignity, never questioned her feelings, and never demanded her love in return. He was there, silent and strong through her trials, gave her the warm hugs and wondrous smiles even when he was hurting.

Thoughts flew past her faster then her tears. Anjali asked herself, "why can I not stop thinking about you kavya? Cannot stop loving an insecure and jealous and petty person". "I love Kavya? Who had never had enough faith to believe in our love and our marriage? Never had the courage to accept his weaknesses" Anjali told herself, "Kavya was a petty man, one that demeaned their child?" And yet she couldn't stop thinking and wishing for him to love her and their child. What was she waiting for? Would Kavya ever believe in his own love and its child? Why did she love such a brutal man?

As Anjali thought and fooled herself that a day would come when Kavya would see the truth and believe in her love the more distant a dream it became. Even as her tears rolled down, Kavya swung open her door and accused her of using all the people that once loved her. An unforgiving Kavya yelled at her asking her to leave his family and his loving wife Pammi alone, leave Pammi's family and Yug alone, and just get the hell out of his life. Anjali, too dumbfounded to react just dazed through all the abuse and the hurt. As Kavya cried his heart out to leave him alone Yug's mom walked in. Looking at his mother in law, Kavya asked her why Yug even bothered with someone incapable of love and incapable of trust. Hadn't he learnt anything from Kavya? Just as Yug had taken Anjali away from him, someone else had taken her away from Yug. HE yelled that Anjali is probably having an affair with someone else now so Yug doesn't matter anymore.

Part II
As words flew fast and hurtfully across Anjali sat there clutching her stomach suddenly realizing she had to live, she had to survive, and she was going to be a mom. Kavya and Yug's mom left, what they had said never registered, or she was too hurt to feel the pain. She carried her pregnant self to the terrace above and watched the children in the street play cricket. They were so happy and secure. She decided she would make sure her child would get all the happiness in the world and would grow up secure and safe. A mother she was and father she would try to be. She would do her best to give her child the opportunities and all the love that she could.

Anjali decided she would move away from Mumbai, away from all the hurt. As much as she wanted Yug's loving shoulder to cry on and as much as she wanted Kavya to believe in her she had to leave. There was no time for her to think about anyone else as she had to plan for her child. That was going to be her goal in life. To care for her child and be there for her at all times.

Anjali called Bindiya, her 4 am friend and asked her to help her find a job, any job, one that would take her far away from here. They both decided they would start looking out for opportunities for Anjali right away.
A few weeks later Anjali landed an opportunity as an event planner in a hotel in Ooty. She decided she would take the job. She informed no one except Bindiya. She wanted to call Yug and tell him but decided she had put him through enough and would not cause him anymore pain. The same night she packed a few of her belongings, took whatever little money she had and left. After a warm hug Bindiya said her goodbyes at the train station and walked back.

Just as Anjali started to settle down in the new environment in Ooty, she was ready to deliver her baby. Anjali carried herself to the hospital nearby and the next day she delivered a baby girl. Anjali had finally found love in its purest form. Her lil 8 lb bundle of joy was here at last, her baby girl was here! Someone no one would take away from her, someone who she could love without being asked questions, someone she love all her life.

Even as Anjali was struggling hard to pay her bills and juggle life with a baby, she was happy, at least the happiest she had ever been in a long time. Ooty was a quiet and beautiful, the hills gave her a sense of peace and the in its people she found a small sense of belonging. Anjali was building her baby a home.

Back in Mumbai, despite all his efforts Yug is unable to track down Anjali. It's been almost 4 months and all his attempts to find Anjali are futile. Looking at a frustrated and panicked Yug makes his mom unhappy and she finally tells him about her outburst. She goes on to tell him about Kavya's anger and his hurtful accusations. Yug shocked and lost tries to get a grip on himself and on things. He then leaves the home and walks to his car, just as he is leaving Pammi and Kavya are walking in to celebrate their mom's birthday. Yug cannot bear the nonsense anymore and picks a fight with kavya. Pammi true to her characteristic selfish self puts Anjali and her baby down and tries to sympathize with Kavya and Yug. Yug already seething with anger explodes and slaps Pammi hard. Kavya, not much of man anyway just stares at a shocked Pammi. Yug warns Pammi not to interfere in his life and mind her own business. He tells Kavya with tears in his eyes that not only was Kavya solely responsible for losing Anjali but also the most precious gift that god gives a man to be, a chance to be a father. He tells Kavya that he will search heaven and earth for Anjali and the baby because he loves them very much and can never forgive himself if anything ever happened to them. A shocked Kavya is left wondering if the baby was indeed his.

Later at night Kavya is thinking about Anjali trying hard to understand if he had made a mistake, a very big one. Kavya finally starts to question himself and come to terms with his weaknesses. As he tries to fall asleep he is thinking about Anjali and some of their wonderful moments spent together. Despite all that Kavya wants himself to believe and wants everyone to believe, his heart still pines for Anjali. She is his love and nothing seems to be able to change that.

Yug has decided that he will do everything in his power to find Anjali. Yug is driving, tears stream from his eyes as he reaches Bindiya's home. Ayee is there too. Looking at a broken and tearful Yug, Ayee and Bindiya are worried. Yug falls down to the floor crying. He begs Bindiya to tell him if she knows anything more than she is telling him. He says he deserves to see his baby and hold her in his arms at least once. He needs to know, what if he hasn't fathered Anjali's child, it is still his child and he has every right to see her. Anjali cannot decide to just leave him and take his baby away from him.

The phone rings and Bindiya picks it up

Part IV

Anjali is cuddling her lil one and holding her as she dials Bindiya. Anjali starts to talk to Bindiya when Bindiya bursts out crying and asks Anjali if she has forgotten all of them and why she hadn't contacted them in so long. Yug hears this and grabs the phone from bindiya. Yug is relieved, happy and angry all at the same time with Anjali. He screams at Anjali for leaving him and for taking his baby away from him. He starts to cry on the phone and Anjali is crying too.
The baby, of course being a baby doesn't care and is playing gleefully making all those adorable gurgling noises that only a baby can make. This wonderful inexplicable sound is enough to change Yug's agony to joy. His joy knows no bounds. He is thrilled and begs Anjali that he would like to see the baby just once. For all that he has done for Anjali; he tells her he deserves to hold the baby once. Anjali agrees on the condition he will promise to keep their whereabouts a secret. He immediately agrees and wonders why. Anjali goes on to tell him that she didn't want to raise her child in an environment or suspicion, guilt and pain. She didn't want to raise her child amongst people who questioned her dignity and never wanted to find her baby wanting for love.

A hurt Yug demands an explanation from Anjali. "How could you question my feelings and love, have I ever given you or the baby less than my all? I will not forgive you for putting me through this agony Anjali". Yug leaves a tearful Anjali on the phone and rushes off to the airport. Ayee and Bindiya tell Anjali how Yug has been looking for her and how much he must love her. At the airport Yug boards a flight to Ooty and dreams of all that Anjali and he have been through. Happiness, sadness, loss and joy, so many more emotions. Yug goes on to think, "Love is but one single emotion, Anjali and I share too much to call it any single thing" Yug can't wait to reach Ooty as he thinks some more of Anjali. He smiles to himself as he thinks of the time when Anjali troubled him for chocolate ice cream at 2 am in the night. Yug gets off the plane and walks out of the airport thinking, "My darling baby, your daddie is here"

At the Nanda's Pammi is thrilled to tell everyone the news about her pregnancy. Kavya is thrilled, so is the whole family and everyone starts chatting about when the baby will arrive and how happy everyone will be. Dida looks at Pammi and thinks of how shabbily the whole family had treated a pregnant Anjali. Looking at Dida's eyes Bauji and Kavya guess that something is wrong and try to ask her what she is thinking. Tears roll down Dida's eyes and Kavya suddenly feels a stab in his heart. He wonders about Anjali and where she might be? Did she have a child? Is it his?
He slips out and calls Yug. Shlok overhears Kavya ask Yug is they could meet as he wants to ask him something and clear up the air between them.

Yug is on his way to meet his baby and has no time for anyone else. Yug tells Kavya to get lost.
