Ria Ka Adda: Slap, Slap and Slap!!! - Page 4

Before I start my Ram Kathaa on episode, I want to share my excitement of SBS!!!..Dil kush hogaya!!!..KK*2 are sooooooooooooo fuuunnnny!! And its soooo cuuuute the way Karan kept rejecting Kritz's rakhi attempts!! He is soooo adorable! 'oiii, tujko sharam nahin aati, tera dimaag kharaab hai!!' hahaha!..sooooo funny!! They just toooo cuuute together!!! Too damn cute!🤣🤣🤣

While I was watching it, I thought to myself that Karan Kundra makes me realise that you can love a person before even loving the character...To me, Karan has moulded Arjun the way he is now. If someone else would have played Arjun, their own personality and characteristic would have been portrayed in Arjun to a certain extent. For example, Arjun's hill and jull, his fiddling, his smile, his Punjabi accent...This is all part of Karan. I love Arjun because I love Karan and to me, KMH is what it is because of Karan.❤️

This next point is a bit random but I am just speaking my heart out and some might clock on why!!

I am full of heartache as I write this.

Pre final Verdict:

I loved the episode!...yes the saat pheres have been tried and tested but these had their own unique touch to it. RM's verses of the pheres were spiritual, soulful and pure. It symbolised a love so strong that goes beyond the formality of marriage. The souls of Arjun and Arohi are already one. This is just a rasam.

Then Why the heartache then I hear you all ask...This was because I bawled my eyes out when Arjun was pleading to that worthless kaala kauwa. I thought I would be angry at HP but all I could see was Arjun's desperation of love for Arohi. I could not bear seeing him like this. My heart is not so strong, my tears I was unable to stop. Its hurt me deep within. Arjun has been through a lot and I have been really strong when watching all that but today, I was pushed beyond limits.

Short episode?

Today's episode felt shorter than usual! I wanted to see more of AA romance-o-meter!

Chat mangni, pat byah

That's the way to do it! While AA doing the saat phere, I cant help but wonder that is this fate's (PB's) way of telling us to be prepared for the holocaust that is soon going to drown us all? The promises made by KS in between portray the significance of his character. Dr Jekyll now (KS) will soon turn into Mr Hyde and then there will be no stopping him.

The vows

I promise to be your shadow, protect you from evil of all kind.

Arjun-Arohi saat phere

The saat pheres by Arjun and Arohi today cemented 'Ek pal ke liye zindagi, ek dil ke liye duniya'. They echoed the promises Arjun made to Arohi in the hospital:

Arjun @Hospital – agar aaj tumne zindagi ka saath chod diya, toh mein bhi nahi bach paoonga.

Arohi's kasam – Jab maut saamne aaye toh pehle mein use apnaa loo.

Arjun @ Hospital – mein apni zindagi ke badle, tumhaari zindagi chahta hoon.

Arjun's kasam – Agar maut saamne aayegi toh hum ek saath usse gale lagaa yenge.

Arjun @ Hospital – Agar tum par dhoop ayegi toh mein tumhaari chaon banoonga

Arjun's kasam – Tum hamesha meri raksha karne ki kasam khao.

Arjun @ Hospital – Agar aasma mein baadal garjenge toh mein tumhaari dhal banoonga.

Arohi's kasam – Humari zindagi ki aakhri saas tak, humaare beech mein teesra koi nahi aayega.

Arjun @ Hospital – Agar zindagi ki kisi maur par tum larkaraogi toh pehle mein tumhaara haath thaamunga

Arohi's kasam – Hum har kushi, har gham ko baat ne ki kasam kaate hai

Arjun @ Hospital – mein bhagwaan se bas ek mauka maangta hoon, bas ek pal, bas ek ehsaas, bas ek saas.

Arohi's kasam – Mein har janam mein Arjun ki Arohi ban ke aawungi....tumhe janmo janmo ke liye apnaa pati srikaar karti hoon.

And this to me is destined Love! A love between two soul mates! A beautiful and pure scene which should not be compared to a movie because these saat pheres were a symbol of the magnitude of AA's love.

Enter jibber jabber! - HP(if anyone remembers, this was a toy with a spring head that moved side to side!!)🤣

HP aka jibber jabber!

I noticed that when HP talks, his head moves like Jibber jabber! Side to side!

Pehle toh mein bahut zyaada excited hogayi ke budhaa shaayad shock se mar jayega but nooooo, isse toh bhookam bhi nahin hilaa saktaa.

Arjun

if you had hugged Arohi kaske, the normal way then budhaa would not have been able to yank her off you!!...so PB/Director saab, change huggy please!..just so KS doesn't do the same thing!

Ofcourse you all read above what Arjun's plead did to me. Aaj mein Kat, Karan ki deewani kasam kaati hoon ke I will never watch that scene again!!! Its broken me to pieces. Dunno why...waise before Arjun getting thapads, I have happily watched but this one didn't feel right.

Arohi's silence

I guess Arohi was never a repulsive child. She has always looked after her father and maintained his respect and principles. A daughter like her would not immediately lash back at her father so her not saying anything made sense to me.

I can imagine Arohi samjaavafying her father calmly. I don't think she will shout back at him or resent him because that's not Arohi and if creatives do that then another character ka kachumbar!

Final Verdict

I loved the episode because it was filled with AA's love and this is what Kitani Mohabbat Hai is about.

Karan and Kritika – BIG applause!!! You did the saat phere scene with soo much sincerity and passion. You both were Brilliant and at your utmost best!👏👏👏👏👏👏

Hiten Tejwani – you were likeable yet again.😃

Editors/Cameraman etc – Not at all impressed! A very shoddy job. Awful. At times you made me doubt whether Karan and Kritika even did the saat phere scene together. Dont spoil it..please.😡

Background music people – Strictly OK. You can do much better than this.😡

ria....seems you totally did not like the way the pseudo marriage happened...but can i disagree on your trust issue? let me try....see arohi and arjun did not intend to elope or get married secretly..it was a thing between them...just the two of them...its like the umpteen conversations two lovers can have...here they tried to enact as if they are getting married..they of course would have gotten married socially with all's blessings...its just that HP was not supposed to see their "private moment"...yaa once he saw it it was difficult for him to keep his cool...but i still think..they did not break anybody's trust....🤗

Dost says "Doosre phere mein, hum har kushi , har gham ko bantna ki kasam kathe hain" and me dying laughing. MAN WHAT WAS THAT CAMERA ANGLE? Why is the camera on Karan's face? Seriously he was looking like some bhoot whoot .Also they seem to be on some to roller instead of walking at that scene

HP walks towards AA , ya ya he made sure all the 7 pheres are done , so that PB can claim this is AA's shaadi.

Worst Dialogue of the Day: "Main Arohi Sharma aaj apne maan, samman, mere guru, mere maan baba ko saakshi maan ke tumhain arjun...tumhain janmon ke liye apna pati sweekar karty hoon" How convenient is that? Believing in him being a witness and actually making him one...there is a big difference! That is where you went wrong Arohi!

this was actually worst and fake diologue. i didn't like it.

2. If I take the Pheres out of the context of the show...apart from a few directorial glitches they were romantic...Karan and Kritika did a great job with the act right from the moment Arjun says " Mandap bhi hai" to the hug...their expressions were flawless

The Commitment

Love is a promise you make only to your lover. There is something pavitra about making a lifetime commitment of love with only three witnesses - each other and God. Today Arjun and Arohi have god's blessing and each other's love. Everything and everyone else is superfluous.

I see contrasting opinions here at adda. A trying to explain at YM me unable to think straight. What do u think abt the pheres? How do they justify for u? Is this what how they should be getting married? Should this really be considered shaadi?.
