Fabulous analysis Ria.......it always gives me a different perspective.

I had expected today's episode to be Arjun centric. After yesterday's fiasco they needed to show him repenting or atleast feeling guilty for his actions. And it was indeed very beautifully shown........him being torn between his belief that Arohi is a cheater & the heartfelt desire to believe that she loves him is wonderfully potrayed....👏

His confusion comes across in his dialogues...I loved it when he says "woh toot gayee Dad" and than a while later says "I am sure woh ghar jaa kar theek ho gayee ho gy".....The former reflecting the guilt...the later the defense....I am bowled over by the creatives and Arjun's act today!

i concur with you here.......looks like the creatives have put in a lot of thought in this particular scene....👏

I still haven't totally understood DK's character though. Its apparent that he truly loves his son & the way he was trying to console his grieving son was heartwarming. But on the other hand i feel.... Does he really know his son??.......😕......because if he did he would know that Arohi is his life & he would never try to take her away from him!!!!!!.......He knows that Arjun will never be happy with Natasha but still he wants him to marry her....... This makes him an intensely selfish father IMO......

Oh ya regarding Arohi's response........she didn't get much screen time today but whatever little they showed of her was heartwrenching enough......her silent tears spoke more than any words could....😭

Even though DK is DD, he too deserves a chance at Love...maybe there really IS a MU between them.....and maybe that will justify his actions!!! If Arjun's redemption is on the cards, then why not DK's???

I agree with you completely Aakriti.. even I feel that Arohi is going to re-unite DK-savita.. DK still has feelings for his wife and it was obvious when he was talking to Arjun today and telling him about what he has endured for the past 16 yrs...If he had no feelings, he would not feel the pain.

@Aakriti: oh yes I wud not mind a DK-Savita happy ending too...i am all in positive frame of mind today! the episode just had a very positive impact on me despite being emotionally strong....It was like the silver lining in the sky!

@Anu: Thanks for the detailed reply....I know...it was all teary weary but than it was so ncie to see arjun's character rise from the dusts he had fallen himself into....Its both of them....The character + the actor....the combo is just fantabluous!

@lovely: Thanks dear....yes the redemption has begun and in what a beautiful way......I am just awed by the creatives this time....they have earned some respect which I hardly attribute to them!
DK's POV is a very cintroversial topic...my perception changes daily...today I felty maybe he has been broken by this emotion called love to such an extent that he does not want his son to taste it! which is totally acceptable an act from a parent.....The beauty of this show is teh complicated situations the characters are in...I am just lovin it!

@beagleboy: loll...thanks ... and welcome to the Adda dear....I know...its just a way we vent out our frustrations.....keep coming to teh Adda with your quick comments....we love t hem!

@swan: loved your take...you covered things which I forgot to add....Kritika was indeed excellent yet again with those cold eyes!

Thanks x-radhika!

Ria, Aakriti and Anu.. wonderful write ups as always.. Just a little pressed for time today so commenting in one post..

My 2 cents on today's episode:

The episode was very predictable but the execution was superb! Both KK and Satyajit stole the show.. It was good to see the concern a dad had for his son.. he may be evil but his devotion for his son was evident.

The sad part is when Arjun finds out about his Dad, I hope he does not forget the love between the father and son! I know his pain is mostly his dad's fault but he cannot forget that he brought him up single handedly.. the upbringing was flawed but his love for his son was not.. Hope Arjun remembers that when he blasts out at his dad!

@ Vaishali - I remember when Savita came accusing DK in the Rupali case, she knew in her heart that DK still loved her and no one else :) Today.. too I felt DK's anger with Savita is more on ego and principle issues than anything else.. He still loves her.. but its this long drawn out informal custody battle over their child.. Once thats resolved I hope both parents come to the rescue of their hurting child.. I want them to get back together.. but I wonder if DK will let go of his ego so soon and Savita will forgive him so easily for hurting Arohi so badly!

Thanks Ria for your beautiful analysis! Whoa...am late today! You articulate your thoughts so well. You described Arjun so well and yes he will hopefully rise and that too with dignity !! Since creatives are lurking around, they can take borrow some ideas from our Adda.

I actually thought the episode was so so, until I read your analysis !! So I watched it for the 2nd time. This time around I felt the pain he was going through. Even though he thinks he did the right thing, the emotional blow is hard for him to deal with. He even mentioned he didn't want it to happen, so it is even more painful. I hope you guys don't think I am mean, but I actually enjoyed watching jaanu's vulnerability. He is purely living in this bitter cloud of hope and assumptions. And since Daku daddy is such a dominant father, he is compelled to do what his dad wants. I really hope the creatives come with a good storyline for dd and savita. All this suspense, it better be good.

"I'm going to smile and make you think I'm happy, I'm going to laugh, so you don't see me cry, I'm going to let you go in style, and even if it kills me - I'm going to smile."

The above quote is applicable to both..more Arohi because I feel as though she has been shown to be more strong and independent than Arjun !! Even after he said all to her, she didn't show that she was affected, until the very end of the convo. I hope she comes to office and acts her usual self, which will irk him to no end !!

Well coming to Arohi, I thought she enacted her part well. Like you mentioned her "Aur Kuch sir" said it all. Her tears streaming down at the end was beautiful. But like I mentioned in the previous Adda. I thought she looked sort of pale and eerie. As she was walking in the beginning, I thought to myself that she looked like some Atma.😆😆 I guess that is probably what she felt like, as if she were dead already.

Anyways, I gotta go and finish up tons of work. Can't believe I saw the episode twice, becoming like Anu !

Thanks minnie! I just loved these thoughts of yours....when it comes to parents I just cannot bear grossness...I would love to see the parents joining hand to help Arjun in his dillema at a later stage...but on the other hand I would like Arjun to somehow retain the respect that is so important for parents....I am all in for the retention of the respect factor once the Raaz is out!

This was beautiful Neha! just loved each word of it and goes so well with the mood of the show! Today's show was worth watching multiple times....dont worry most of us have done/ will do it! so its just joining the bandwagon....your take as usual concise and cute....
Even I think Arjun's vulnerability is an integral part of the show...It has to be there for us to understand his character....
Thanks for always being appreciative!
