Now THAT is an episode.....high on Drama, full-on Comedy, a wee bit of tears, and most importantly, high on content!!! *Aakriti approves*
So, Salil and Purvi come back to Sukh-Niwas after their Runaway Wedding...there are some senti dialouges between HP & Salil, but thankfully, nothing too OTT..Ria, you're right as always, the Creatives of this show DO seem to have a flair for realism, hope they keep it that way...*fingers crossed*!!
The best part of the scene was when HP says to Purvi, "agar tum khush ho, to mein kon hota hoon kuch blone waala"....now THAT'S what you call a parent, and he ain't even her FATHER, not the biological one at least....!!! *Aakriti claps for HP*!!
And when Arohi touched her OM, I went like, awww.....it gave me gooseflesh just thinking about Arjun having her OM in jail, tied around his wrist....*deep sigh*
Now, in the next scene, with Paddy Mamma and Daddy MM, why was Paddy all changed into her night-wear, but MM still in what he wore at the wedding??? *Aakriti ponders*....anyway, when Salil came into the room breaking into an impromptu Bhangra, I burst out laughing......this is the first time I liked Salil, I mean I thought he was cute for sure, a bit dim, but cute nevertheless, but today he impressed me so much, I felt like hugging him when he just couldn't stay still....and when he called Purvi into the room, the Evil-Duo's expressions were to-die-for!!! It looked like they had just seen a Giraffe cross their living-room!!! And the best part was when Aman and Nikhil came inside the house, shaking their respective booties at their flabbergasted parents....and then Paddy looking from one to the other, as if expecting one of them to suddenly jump up and yell, "APRIL FOOL!!!!"
*PRICELESS*!!!
But that was the end of the comedy...and it will be until Salil's next scene, but since HE'LL be at his Honeymoon, planning on how many kids to have with Purvi, tab tak, we'll have to endure the rona-dhona that followed.....
Arohi's grief once again filled the room...her pain, her silent tears, her quiet heartbreak, her shattered Dreams of being with the One she Loved, jispe usne "khud se zyaada bharosa kia",dampned my eyes. I felt so bad for her...but not as bad as I felt at Arjun breaking down, his 'siskeeyan' left me with a lump in my throat...poor guy, he was once again the Child his mother had abandoned, the Child who grew up alone, friendless, on a staple diet of Hatred for his Mom, and Blind Devotion for his Dad, the Man who let his insecurities rule him, who lets his mind decide the next course of his action, because his heart is still numb with the blow of Arohi's supposed betrayal....Arjun Punj the bruised, the wounded..."kissi ko apne itne kareeb mat aane do ki wo tumhe chot pahuchane ki taakat rakh sake"....*sniff*
Arohi had this aura of sadness about her when she gets ready to go to office the next day....but I must comment, where has Badi Ma disappeared to?? Agreed, she must've thought the Salil-Purvi wedding would take place, but she could've been back the next morning, but she wasn't..didn't ANYONE except for the Viewers find this strange???
The scene where DK and Arjun are talking about kicking Arohi out, did you notice the slight, crooked smile that played on his lips when Arjun turns away?? *Aakriti throws shoes at DK with Mehr.....throws stilletoes actually, they'll hurt him more*...We all know he loves Arjun, and THINKS this is somehow gonna ultimateyl benefit him(Arjun), but what kinda twisted Love is that?? He smiles at his Son's PAIN??!!?? *Jerk*!!!
And now I REALLY need an answer to exactly WHEN Savita left, was it 16, 18, or 20 years?? I guess DK doesn't know that himself.....Savita, DK and Arjun should have a head-jamming setion and finally decide on the time-gap, that is, if they don't kill each other in the process.....!!!
The pre-cap has Arjun telling Arohi that she has to serve a notice period of 3 weeks, "18 working days"....but I thought that the notice period was 3 months?? Phir se ML, I guess....or the Creatives realize that if there is a 3 month notice period, when will Arjun destroy Arohi's World/discover the Truth/help her nourish her Dream/end up in jail???After all, he was with Arohi for only 6 months, and in jail for 2 years....they also must've realized that poor Ganga Rai has been listening to Arjun's bak-bak for over 3 months now, barring the Saturdays & Sundays...so they changed the notice period ka duration!!!
P.S. Looks like my hunch got proved right!!! Hadn't I SAID don't go on about the KMH spies among us, they'll stop listening to Us?? See, Arjun isin't back to his suits...still stuck in that God-Forsaken Jeans & Sweater attire of his...*uff*!!!!
