Part 65
"Ye tumhare Rajveer chachu, aajkal hamari kuch jyaada hi help nai karrahe?"
Arohi stopped midway in pulling the quilt over herself on hearing Arjuns question. "Ab tum usspe bhi shak karoge? Agar help karrahe hain to achhi baat haina." She half-turned and gave Arjun a stern look.
Arjun stared back blankly. "Mein shaq nahi karraha stupid! Bas jo feel hua voh bol raha hoon."
Arohi lay back on the bed, smugly facing her back towards Arjun. "Mere chachu ek honest police officer hai, aur voh sirf sachhai ka saath de rahe hai."
Arjun silently laughed at Arohis childish display of anger. Placing a hand on her arm, he turned her around. "Maine kab kaha ki hes a corrupt guy. Im just saying that hes being really nice nowadays... especially to me!"
Arohi turned briskly, facing her husband. "TUMNE kabhi notice nahi kiya... that hes a very nice guy!"
Arjun looked at her in surprise. "Shayad issliye, ki unhone aaj tak meri tariff kam aur pitaai jyada ki hai!"
Arohi remembered the times when her chachu had hit Arjun mercilessly, on the day of her engagement to Cheeku... or when he had stopped them from sending her off to Canada... or when he had come to pick her up after the pagphere rasam. Arjun had not even touched her family out of respect and because of his love for her.
Arjun could see her eyes soften as she was remembering the old days. They all had moved forward now and he didnot want her to be sad for whatever they went through. He pulled her in to his arms and smiled. "Tum tension mat lo. Arjun Singhania kabhi kisika loan apne sarpe nahi rakhta. Unki saari pitaai unhe soot samet wapas kar dunga. Ok? "
Arohis eyes and mouth opened wide in shock. "Haww! Tum mere chachu ko maaroge?"
"Itna gussa? Aur unhone mujhe maara usska kya?"
Arohi rolled over her husband in one swift movement, making her lie on top of him. "Toh kya hua? Voh mere chachu hai, tum unhe nahi maar sakte."
Arjun was surprised at the authoritative tone. He turned, rolling Arohi on her back and now him on top of her. "Request karrahi ho ya order de rahi ho? Arjun Singhania ko orders sunne ki aadat nahi hai." Arjun smirked at her and Arohi gritted her teeth.
She rolled him again on his back. "Aur Arohi Arjun Singhania ko request karne ki aadat nahi hai! Tum mere chachu pe haath nahi uthaaoge... bas!"
Arjun rolled her back. "Thik hai! Haath nahi... lekin laath toh utha sakta hoon na?!"
Arohis mouth opened wide in shock. She rolled him on his back and grabbed his collar. "How dare you! Arjun... agar tumne mere chachu ko maara toh..."
Arjun first looked downwards where Arohis dainty hands had clasped his collar and then back to her face. His one eyebrow raised as he looked at her dangerously. "Toh...???"
Arohi gulped and her grip slackened. Arjuns hands tightened around her waist and he slowly rolled her on her back, his face hovering inches over her. "Tum kuch keh rahi thi Arohi???"

Arohi felt the warmth of Arjuns body all over her, the pressure of his weight digging her in the mattress below her. His warm shallow breath washed her face and his intense gaze burned her skin. Her brain was getting intoxicated by the close proximity.
"Thik hai... mein tumhare chachu ko nahi maarunga. Lekin... usske badle mein mujhe kuch chahiye."
Arohi found it difficult to concentrate on Arjuns words. She just registered something "chahiye" and a very soft "huh" left her lips. Arjuns eyes continued to burn her skin.
"Mujhe... mera... ye white kurta wapas chahiye."
Before Arohi could realise what Arjun had asked for, he had already put his hand inside the side hem and started pulling it up. Arohi snapped out of her trance and left his collar to grab his hands. "Kya karrahe ho Arjun!"
Arjun smirked. "Arjun Singhania koi bhi kaam free mein nahi karta." He jerked his hands upwards pulling the kurta with him and Arohi let out a shriek. Pushing Arjun off her with all her force, she jumped off the bed and ran towards the washroom.
Arjun leapt as quick as a cat and grabbed her around the middle and lifted her off the ground. Arohi started laughing uncontrollably as Arjun spin her around the room.
He put her down and before he could turn her, she rushed out of his arms to the other side of the bed. Arjun followed her and Arohi climbed on the bed.
"Sambhalo Arohi!" Arjuns shout distracted her for a second as she looked upwards to check if the canopy was near her head.
Arjun took the chance. He grabbed her ankle and pulled towards him. Arohi slipped with the force and dropped on the bed like a doll. Arjun leapt on her, grabbed her wrists and pinned them above her head. Arohi let out bouts of giggle as her wriggled beneath her husband to be let free.
Arjun pushed his body more on her to stop her movements. He leaned in towards her and bit her cheek. Arohi shrieked.
"Arjun! Junglee kahi ke... it hurts!"
"Look whos talking! Tumhare jitni junglee ladki maine aaj tak nahi dekhi. Ye mujhe tang karne ke liye punishment tha." Arjun leaned in slowly and kissed the same spot on her cheek, soothing the bite mark with his tongue. Arohi jerked with the warm wet contact.
Arjun pulled back and looked into her eyes. "Aur ye tha tumhe hurt karne ke liye."
Arohis intoxicated gaze snapped something inside Arjun. He leaned down again and bit her nose softly, following with a kiss and lightly sucked on the skin. He continued to torture and lather her entire face slowly till Arohi got completely lost. Her hands tried to loosen the grip on them as her fingers ached to grab Arjuns hair, touch his face, hug him tightly, so that she can reciprocate what she was feeling. But Arjun refused to let go.
"Kya hua meri junglee terrorist?" Arjun leaned down again and bit her ear lobe, then took it in his lips and sucked on it lightly. Darts of pleasure shot in Arohis body.
"Arjun... pleaseee! Haath chodo Arjun..."
Arjun chuckled at her pleading tone. "Uh huh! Mera punishment abhi khatam nahi hua hai." He proceeded towards her other ear.
"Arjun... i swear. Kisi din... mein bhi tumhare... tumhare dono haath... haath baandhke... tumhe aise hi... aise hi torture karungi... aahhh!" Arjun bit and sucked extra hard before leaving her ear to look in to her eyes.
"Mein uss din ka intezaar karunga." Before Arohi could respond, Arjun swooped down and took her lips in his with one swift movement. Arohis hands coiled into fists as she could not bear the unsurmountable pleasure that Arjun was showering on her.

"Take care..."
The soft spoken words felt too loud because they projected the magnitude of fear that the beautiful voice displayed. Rajveers hands stopped on his gun, as he was picking it up to put in his shoulder holster. He was not used to someone caring for him so much. His family did care but they never displayed it in front of him because they knew he didn't like it, he had his macho image to protect. But these things didnot work on Rashi Singhania. It was as if, she had the given authority to break every rule that he had made for the world.
"You don't worry. Tum apna khayal rakhna."
Rashi nodded her head slowly, as if Rajveer could see it.
"Waise bhi aaj Rakshabandhan hai. So Lovedeep ki rakhi mujhe kabhi kuch hone nahi degi."
Rashi smiled. She had nothing more to say yet she could not cut the call. "Rashi..."
She grabbed the phone with both her hands. Her eyes sparkled hearing him take her name.
"Haan Rajveer..."
"Aaj raat ko... mein tumse milna chahta hoon. Maybe dinner. Mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai."
"Ok. Kahan aana hai batao. Mein office se seedha wahi aajaungi."
"Ill text you. Ok? Bye."
With a very heavy heart, the two love birds hung up. Rajveer knew his day would be the best now, receiving an early morning call from Rashi always ensured that. He filled his briefcase with the required files and headed downstairs. Love deep came out of the kitchen holding the thali when she saw Rajveer join her other brothers in the living room.
Like every Rakshabandhan, her brothers were waiting for the Rakhi to be tied on their wrists before they could head out to work. After doing the rituals with Arvind and Sudhir, she waited till they both left and then turned towards her younger brother. They both smiled at each other as she proceeded to do his aarti and tie the Rakhi.
"Bhaiya... iss rakshabandhan mujhe jo gift chahiye voh milega?"
"Kyun nahi. Kya chahiye bolo."
Love smiled and leaned in closer. "Aap jaante ho."
Rajveer looked at her in surprise. "Its not that easy Love deep."
"I know bhaiya. But i think its time."
Rajveer smiled and nodded his head. "I'm going to ask her tonight."
Lovedeeps eyebrows shot up in surprise and she hugged her brother, smiling away like a kid. "Im soo soo soo happy bhaiyya."
Rajveer hugged her back. "Me too."

"Ye bhai behen mein kya khusur-pusur ho rahi hai???"
Arohis stern voice made Lovedeep and Rajveer look up in surprise. Arohi was standing with her hands on her waist looking at them suspiciously. Lovedeep outstretched her one hand, inviting Arohi to join them. The next moment Arohi jumped and joined the group hug with a smile. Sanchit crashed into them from the other side and they all started laughing.
Amrit wiped her tears as she saw her crazy family happy after a very long time. Kartar Singh kept a hand on his daughter-in-laws head to calm her down. Everyone headed towards the dining table to have breakfast together.
"Shefali kahan hai?" Arohi looked at Sanchit on his question.
"Kyun? Woh yaha aane waali thi?"
"Nai Arohi. Voh keh rahi thi ki aaj subah tumse milne waali hai toh..."
"Ohh. Toh voh ghar gayi hogi. Mein abhi usse phone karke yaha bula leti hoon."
Arohi picked up her phone to dial, without seeing her mother flinch when she referred to Singhania mansion as ghar'.

"Jo aap chaho di..."
Romit turned his attention towards the mithai in his hand after promising Rashi whatever she wanted. Rashi looked at Arjun and he smiled. "Ye bhi koi poochne ki baat hai. Whatever you want."
Rashi hugged her brothers tightly.
"Lekin kya chahiye voh toh batao." Arjun looked confusingly as Rashi started serving them breakfast.
"Voh toh mein waqt aane pe maangungi. Aur tum mana nahi kar sakte."
Arjun looked at Romit and questioned with his eyes. But Romit shrugged his shoulders and started eating his food.
"Lekin mujhse aisi koi ummeed mat rakhna." Everyone turned to see Mikhail walk into the room with a shiny package in his hand.
Rashi ignored his comment and tied rakhi on his hand, accepting his gift in silence.
"Woh kya... puttar hum mein se koi bhi tujhse koi ummeed nai rakhta."
Dadi's comment infuriated Mikhail and he turned to walk away. "Dekha! Aaj ke din bhi tujhme itni samajh nahi hai ki apni iklauti behen ke saath baithke nashta karein."
Mikhail turned towards the table but stopped again on hearing dadi's words. "Renn de! Aisi sadi hui shakal leke baithne se accha hai tu jaa... jaake apna kaam kar."
Closing his eyes in frustration, he turned towards the door. Romit was laughing silently but Arjun was watching very carefully. He could make out that Mikhail was in a hurry to go someplace. But where?

Karan took a sip of his extra strong chai and stared out in the sun. He was glad he reached extra early as he got some time to organise his thoughts. They had reached a stage now where every day, every move was going to take them towards their goal. One wrong action and it will cost them a lot. He was getting too impatient now to finish this assignment and go back to London. Every time he saw Arjun and Arohi together he missed Emily all the more. His guilt over breaking her heart and making her go through the pain was making the separation all the more unbearable. Although he had cleared everything out and she had forgiven him over the phone, there was a lot that he had to make up for in person.
Arjun stopped the bike, letting Arohi get off and moved towards the back of the dhaba to hide the bike. When he came back, Karan and Arohi were whispering about something.
"Tum aaj aaye nahi... subah?"
Karan looked confused at Arjun at the question. Arjuns lips turned up in a sarcastic smile.
"Arre aaj rakshabandhan hai na..."
Karan narrowed his eyes and Arohi swatted Arjun on his arm.
"Tum ab bhi Karan pe shaq karrahe ho???" Arohi was clearly irritated by Arjuns jealousy.
"Nai... but its better to be sure!"
"Arjun... i am sure of one thing! That tumhari Natasha had booked her return ticket by the end of this week. Which means... agley 4-5 dinon mein kuch bhi hosakta hai."
Karans revelation bought a sudden seriousness to the atmosphere and Arjun noticed Arohi go rigid. His life had always been of more importance to her than to him.
"So then what are we waiting for? Agar hamare paas sufficient proof hai, then why don't you arrest her???"
Karan looked at Arohi, who was spitting fire with her eyes. "Relax Arohi. Yehi discuss karne ke liye maine aaj sabko yaha bulaya hai."
Arjun moved in closer to Karan. "Sabko? Aur kaun aana baaki hai???"
"Mein!"
The strong and familiar voice made everyone turn around. Arjun was a bit shocked to see ACP Rajveer standing there in his civil clothes and a bag in his hands, but he didnot show it. He leaned slowly towards Arohi. "Ye yaha kya karraha hai?"
Karan hugged Rajveer and they settled down on one of the corner table. Arjun and Arohi looked at each other and followed them. Sitting themselves in front of the two officers, Arjun looked at all the files that were being placed on the table.
"Arjun..." Karan started talking picking up a file in his hand. "Iss file mein tumhare liye diye gaye contract ke bare mein saare details hain. I started from London only focussing on Natasha but yaha aake iss case mein, ACP Rajveer ne meri bohat help ki hai. Infact he has been the doing all the back end work on Natasha and giving me support and information."
Arjun looked on surprise at Rajveers impassive face.
"Uss din mera tumhari party mein aana koi coincidence nahi tha. It was planned by Rajveer kyuki voh khud nahi aa sakte they. Me meeting Arohi and dadi in the shop was completely a set up. Ever since then, he has been monitoring all the activities regarding Mikhail and Natasha so that enough evidence can be collected."
Arohi reached out and held her chachus hand in appreciation. He covered her palm with his but his eyes stayed on Arjun.
"We have been keeping a very close eye on Natasha and she has been seen buying... some machinery... lately."
Breaking Rajveers eyelock, Arjun turned to look at Karan. "What do you mean by machinery?"
Karan straightened in his seat. "I mean a gun... more like a rifle. Something that can be used to shoot from a distance."
Arohis head snapped towards Karan. The full blown meaning of his words hit her suddenly.
Karan continued. "Arjun... is there anything on your schedule which is pre-decided... like an event or a function or a meeting? Where you will be exposed and vulnerable and become an easy target?"
Arjuns brain started thinking at super sonic speed but before he could say anything, he heard Arohi speak.
"Orphanage..."
Rajveer and Karan looked at each other and Arjun turned to look at Arohi.
"Arjuns birthday is coming up and every birthday he goes to the orphanage from where he was adopted... to give them donations and sweets... and spend some time with the children there."
Karan leaned ahead in his seat. "And where is this orphanage?"
"45 kms from the city..."
"Is it in a crowded space or..."
"No... there is no civilisation around. Its... its isolated."
Fear crept slowly into Arohis eyes, breaking the strong demeanor that she had built for herself. Arjun smiled at her slightly, giving her reassaurance.
"Ok. Give me the address. I will have it secured immediately. I hope you're not planning to cancel your visit. This will be the time that Natasha has chosen and we will get her red-handed."
Karan went ahead to pull out a pen from his pocket but Arohi grabbed his hand.
"ARE YOU CRAZY??? You're going to use Arjun as a bait!! Agar usse kuch hogaya toh? Nai... i wont allow this!!! Agar aapke paas saboot hain then why cant you just arrest her...???"
Karans eyes widened at Arohis agitation. With every word her grip on his wrist was increasing.
"Relax Arohi. Tumhe lagta hai hum Arjun ki jaan khatre mein daalenge? Usse kuch nahi hoga. But we need to catch Natasha red-handed! So that immediate action is taken against her."
"I don't understand. What immediate action?? Shes an international criminal. Itna sab kuch toh pata hai... phir kyu Arjun ko..."
"Arohi..."
Arohis anxiety dimmed down one notch when finally Rajveer spoke.
"You belong to a family of IPS officers. Tumhe achhi tarah pata hai ki mauka-e-vaardaat pe apradhi ko pakadne ki kya ehmiyat hoti hai."
Rajveers straight gaze was piercing Arohis watery eyes. Rajveer steeled his heart against the pleading helpless look in his nieces eyes. Just this morning he had seen her smiling and happy, and her sad face was killing him from inside, but right now the ACP had to take over from the chachu.
"If we want Natasha to be immediately deported then this is the only way. Warna we will arrest her, phir uspe case hoga, deportion ki appeal hogi etc etc. And we don't want that to happen. Don't you trust your chachu? Mujhpe bharosa rakho... tumhare pati ko kuch nahi hoga... mein kuch hone hi nahi dunga. Arjun ki jaan ki zimmedari meri."
Arohis breaths came out in shallow gasps but Arjun knew that she trusted her chachu. The question was whether he trusted Rajveer?! Arjun released Arohis deathly grip from Karans wrist and covered her hands with his.
"Arohi... Rajveer thik keh raha hai. Aur mein waha akela nahi jaaunga... mere saath Billu aur Makarand bhi toh honge... like my bodyguards. So i don't think theres any need to worry."
Arohi tried to compose her thoughts and get her throat a bit wet... so that she can speak.
"...aur mein bhi rahungi. I will not let you go there alone. Mujhe chachu par poora bharosa hai... mein jaanti hoon woh mujhe bhi kuch nahi hone denge."
Karan looked at Rajveer and he slightly nodded his head. Arjun was looking desperately at either of them so that he didnot have to be the one to tell Arohi that she cant come. But seeing them both nod their heads, he kept quiet.
After 15mins of brief discussion, they all parted ways to leave for their destinations. After the last vehicle left, across the road, from the dense bushes, a man came out. Watching them leave from a distance, he removed his phone and placed a call.
"Hello? Madam? Ji... nahi teen nahi... chaar they."
