Part 32
Arohi stole a look at Arjun who was eating his breakfast quietly, avoiding her completely. She quickly glanced around and saw dadi, Rashi and Romit busy with their food too. She slipped her foot out of her shoes and extended it towards her hot, seductive and sexy husband. She arched her toes, carefully and steadily approaching his trouser clad leg. As her toes touched his ankle, Arjun stopped chewing. His grip tightened on the fork in his hand when Arohis toes travelled upwards slowly, tickling his skin and arresting his attention completely.
Arjun looked to his left, where dadi was busy buttering her toast, and then to his right where Romit was eating his fruits and swinging his head to the music from his headphones with his eyes closed. Arjun tried pulling his leg back but Arohi managed to still reach it. Now she was rubbing her toes up and down on his bare leg, above the sock and reaching behind. He looked up at Rashi who was eating her breakfast staring at her plate. She had a small smile on her face.
Finally Arjun had no choice and he lifted his head to look at Arohi. What he saw, hit him like a 100 thousand ton truck on a highway! Arohi, with her head bent down, had her eyes on him, flashing shameless seductiveness, with the most naughty smile that he had seen. The moment his eyes met her, she bit her lip in a suggestive fashion making him gulp his own saliva. He could feel sweat breaking out near his neck as Arohis toes reached as high as the sensitive area behind his knees. This girl was going to be the death of him!
When there was slight movement on the table, Arohi shifted her eyes immediately to her plate, without moving her head or her leg. Arjun loosened his tie a bit. An idea suddenly struck him. He continued eating with his right hand and reached his left hand beneath the table. Before Arohi could look up or guess his action, he gripped her ankle in his hand. Arohis eyes flew up to his. Arjun was now looking at her with his trademark smirk and the most lusty look that he could manage. He placed her foot on his thigh, holding it with his hand and moving his thumb on the pad of it, tickling her in the process.
Arohi tried to pull back her foot but Arjun held on tight. As she stopped resisting, he left her foot and travelled his hand towards her ankle, calf and beyond. Now Arohis skin broke in to goosebumps. Arjun feigned ignorance as he turned his eyes to his breakfast and his hand continued to torture Arohi. Being too shy and lost in her feelings, she did not notice Rashi lean towards her.
"Arohi… Tum bhool rahi ho ki, the table top… is made of glass!!!" Rashi whispered in her ears.
Arohi looked up in shock and pulled back her leg. Arjun looked up to see the shock on her face and embarassment in her eyes. From the corner of his eye, he noticed Rashi straighten up in her chair with a full blown grin on her lips. Realising what has happened Arjun dipped his head lower in his plate, hiding his face in his breakfast.
Even though there was food displayed on the table alongwith the plates and other accessories, there were enough gaps in between to give Rashi a hint of what was going on underneath. Agar dadi ne dekha hota toh!!! Shame flooded Arohis face and she felt her cheeks grow hot as this thought crossed her mind. She picked up her half eaten plate and ran away to the kitchen, ignoring Dadi and Romits confused gaze.

"Dreaming about me?"
Arjun was kicked out of his passionate Arohi-filled dream, brutally, when Natashas fake husky voice butchered his ears and resonated in his eardrums!
Giving her his most 'you-wish' look, Arjun faked a smile which was as fake as her b**bs!
"How are you Natasha? Delusional as always I guess!"
Natasha raised her eyebrows at the open sarcasm. So Mr Singhania had a mouth too… and quite a nasty one!
"Kya baat hai Arjun? Aaj tumhari biwi nahi hai issliye tum usski kami puri karrahe ho??? Have you forgotten that…"
"I've not forgotten anything! Tum bhool rahi ho ki im a married man, and now im back with my wife. So atleast now you should stop hitting on me." Arjun cut her off.
"Kyu? Aisa kaunsi kitaab mein likha hai ki ek married aadmi ko seduce nahi karna chahiye???" Natasha came behind Arjun, leaning down to whisper in his ears.
Arjun stood up and turned around to face her. "Uss kitaab ka naam 'sharaafat' hai! Lekin Im sure tumne wo padhi nahi hogi…"
Natasha burst out into laughter. She walked to a chair and dropped herself in it. "Omigod!!! Look whos talking… Ek gangster sharaafat ki baatein karraha hai…"
"Har insaan ke apne kuch usool hote hain. Aur sharafat sirf sharifon ki property nahi hai! Just because someone is not noble, does not mean hes not a gentleman."
Arjun answered unfazed. He need not prove anything to this witch. He had just wanted to not rile her up to do anything untoward. But Arohi was right. She will do what she has been hired to do. But right now she was just playing with him, and Arjun was tired of games. He did not want to pretend to tolerate her anymore. He owed that much to Arohi.
"Waah! Kya baat hai… Tumhari ye side bhi mujhe bohat achhi lagi Arjun." Natasha crossed her legs, her short black skirt riding up her thighs further more. Arjun had never been affected by such cheap tricks but now it was enraging him! "Kaash ki tum shadi shuda na hotey… toh hum…"
"Ya… Kaash!" Arjun cut her off again. He returned to his chair and resumed his work. Keeping his eyes on the laptop he asked her, "Kisi kaam se aayi ho? If not, then please leave. Kyuki MUJHE bohat kaam hai!"
Natasha stared at Arjun. The more he ignored her, the more it turned her on. But now that he was clearly insulting her, it made her want to see him helpless all the more. Helpless in love, helpless in lust and helpless in death!
Slowly rising up from the chair, she made her way out of his cabin. She opened the door and turned to see his handsome face once. Smiling to herself, she exited the room.

"Mein upar ke floor pe jarahi hu puttar. Tera hojaye to waha aajana. Thikey?" Dadi informed Arohi as she moved to the elevators. It had already been more than an hour and all Arohi and Dadi had shopped for was Arohi. Dadi bought her saris, dresses, tops, lehengas. She said that since Arohi was not married the traditional way, Dadi did not get a chance to spoil her with innumerable gifts that a newly wed bride should be showered with. Arohis protests had fallen on deaf ears before she finally gave up and indulged herself in to the pampering. She made sure that they shopped for Rashi too. Arohi wanted to buy clothes for Raj whereas Dadi wanted to buy something for Arjun & Romit. So they both decided to part ways and meet up in the gents department.
Arohi brought shorts and t-shirts for Raj. This was her first time shopping for her son and she was enjoying it. She had never shopped clothes for a child before, hence she did not want to buy something wrong or something that did not fit. The sales lady assured her that if the size did not fit her son then she can exchange the same. Feeling relaxed, Arohi bought clothes with all sorts of prints on it. After a second thought, she grabbed some full length pants for him. He was growing up and had been taller now, he might want to wear full pants.
Satisfied with the collection, she paid the bill and carried the bags to the mens department. Arohi was feeling a bit guilty when Dadi was buying loads of clothes for her. She wanted to shop for her husband and son and make them feel special too. She got clothes for Raj and for Arjun, she will shop for him, with him she decided. They could make a day out of it, shopping, movie, lunch. It will be like a date and they will finally be able to act like a couple without worrying if anyone was watching them. Smiling at the perfect plan, she headed confidently inside the shop, looking around for Dadi.
She saw a commotion at the far end of a corner, where a small crowd had gathered. Curiously, she moved to the spot, noticing that people were hunched over someone sitting on a chair. As she moved closer, she saw Dadi sipping on lemonade, holding her head, sitting on that same chair. Panic gripped Arohis heart as she ran, pushing people out of her way, calling for her beloved grandmother-in-law. Dadi looked up and smiled at Arohi, assuring her that she was fine. Arohi threw down her bags and crouched in front of the chair on her knees, holding Dadis cheeks, checking if she was fine.
"Kya hua dadi? Aap thik to haina??? Ye sab…"
"Shaant hoja puttar! Mein thik hu. Bas thoda sa chakkar aagaya tha. Bhala ho iss munde ka jisne mujhe seediyon pe se girne se pehle sambhal liya. Warna iss budhape mein agar girr jaati toh pata nahi kaunsi haddi toot ke bikhar jaati." Dadi smiled at her own joke but stopped seeing Arohis eyes swim with tears.
"Im sorry dadi. Mujhe aapko akele jaane dena nahi chahiye tha. Ye sab meri galti hai…"
Dadi held Arohis face in her hand, her eyebrows furrowing in concern. "Nahi puttar. Issme teri koi galati nahi hai. Maine hi khana thik se nahi khaya tha, toh kamjori to aani thi. Tu apne aap ko dosh mat de, bilkul nahi. Chal ab rona band kar, aur iss ladke ka shukriya ada kar jissne meri hallp ki." Dadi wiped away Arohis tears and smiled on seeing a small smile on her laadli bahus face. Arohis eyes turned to look at the young man standing behind Dadi and the smile stayed.
The young man smiled back at her. "Hi Arohi…"

Rashi had never been so excited before. She had always helped her mom arrange parties before, but she had never been incharge, free to do as she wished, decorate the venue as per her vision. She had imagined a lot of colours, pastel ones, and subtle lighting. She had always felt that earlier, even though the decorations were tasteful and classy, they were kind of cold. Lacking a softness or warmth of a human touch. Just like her family. They had been impeccable and smart but emotionless and monochromatic. Two people had changed this equation forever. Raj and Arohi. They had brought love, warmth and colours in the Singhania mansion.
And Rashi had wanted to continue this tradition. She had designed a small open gazebo in the garden for her father to make announcements. Instead of just tables, there were independent sheer tents put up which were open from the sides for a clear view of the garden and on top to gaze at the stars. The sheer material gave a very soft and cosy feeling to the tables and candles provided the warmth. Speakers hung from the columns of the tents, flowing the soft music into every intimate individual space. The best part was that her father had approved of everything and had even given her a proud smile. Her confidence in herself had increased with this simple act of encouragement.
After taking a final look at all the arrangement, she ran up to her room to get ready herself. Arohi had relieved her by getting Raj ready for the party. She entered her washroom for a quick shower and rushed back to her cupboard to select her clothes. From the corner of her eye she saw something shiny on her bed. Leaving the cupboard open, she went back to her bed and sat on it. Picking up the note stuck on top of the box, she started reading it.
I don't know what you generally wear in parties. But if you like this then please do wear it.
-Arohi
P.S. Also I donot want to look like a fool if im the only one wearing a saree ;)
Rashi giggled as she kept the note down and opened the box. It contained a baby blue net saree with dull gold work on it. The blouse was a sleeveless cream one, with a daring open back and narrowing shoulders. It was something very chic as well as bold. Rashi had worn many sleeveless and short dresses till now. Hell, she had even tried backless ones. But a simple saree which covered your body and yet revealed a part of it always felt more sexy than a coctail dress which practically covered nothing. Smiling at Arohis choice, Rashi removed her bathrobe to wear the first gift ever from her sister-in-law.
today I decide to ask u for update, but when I came I got update.
