Chapter 5- Life took a turn
Arohi did not have any idea about who was calling her and she usually ignored calls from unknown numbers. It was the same this time...She looked at the number and thoght it was some wrong number. She kept the phone back on her side table and layed down on her bed. She started hinking about how her day went and the first thought that came into her mind was "Arjun". Arohi said to her self "Why the hell am i thinking about him?" And again vibrated Arohi's phone. She picked the phone and saw- " 1 message recieved" It was the same number from which Arohi got the call. She opened the message and read. " Hey Arohi, Its me! " Arohi started thinking Me??? " Kon pagaal idiot hai ye jisko apna naam likhne ki bhi sense nahi hai" Arohi thought of ignoring but then realised that the person knew her name and was supposed to be someone who knew her... She suddenly picked the phone and called Arjun. Arjun lifted the call in the 2nd ring itself. With a huge smile on Arjun's face he said HI...
Arohi- May I noe u?
Arjun- Apne friend ki awaaz yaad nahi??
Arohi- Oh so its Arjun!
Arjun- wow...great memory haa
Arohi- sorry...i did not pick the call kyok mujhe lga its wrong number...
Arjun- Mujhe laga hi tha. Ab save karlo warna agli baar bhi...
Arohi- ya...So anything special?
Arjun- ya
Arohi- what?
Arjun- You
Arohi- What...??
Arjun- Just kidding yaar...tum bhi nah
Arohi- it wasn't funny
Arjun- Ok Sorry!
Arohi- ok fine im off to sleep..See ya tomoroo..bye
Arjun- Good night...Sweet dreams!
Arohi hangs up the call and sleeps...Arjun kept on smiling and went off to bed...Arjun starts dreaming about Arohi...The next day Arohi wakes up in a very good mood. She went to say good morning to her mom but she was not there. She called her to know where she went so early. Her mom said that there is a great problem and tells her to pack her bag and they were supposed to go out of station. Arohi's mom was from a village and Arohi's dad was very ill. Arohi's mom told Arohi that his dad was dead when she was 3 years old. But today arohi came to knew about her father . Arohi tried to ask her mom why she lied to her but her mom did not give any answer. Arohi was very confused and withouht informing anyone arohi with her mom moved to the village in a train and arohi in hurry forgot her phone on her side table. Arohi on the whole way had thousands of questions running in her mind about her dad and why her mom never let her knew about it. But she was clueless. On the other side, Arjun was waiting to see Arohi in the college...He asked Sanjana about her and Sanjana too was waiting for Arohi. Arjun waited for her but could not find any sign of her arrival..He moved with a dull face to the class. Rohan and Karan started teasing Arjun in the class
Rohan- Karan, dekh ye bechare romeo ko juliet ke intezaar me thak gya
Karan- bechara Arjun!
Arjun stares a them in a boring mood
Karan- Come on yaar! Kahi busy hogi ya phir shayad tere sapno me kho gai hogi
Then Arjun realised the last nights convo and then remembered that Arohi said to see u tomoro... Then how could she not come till now...She was very regular to college since the very first day. He decided to call her...But she did not pick the phone. Arjun got worried about Arohi. He went to Sanjana again to tell that arohi did not pick the phone. Sanjana told that Arohi had a habit of keeping the phone on silent and she might sleepy today due to yestrerdays party. Sanjana did not atke the mtter seriously and asked arjun to do the same. Arjun tried to convince himself but said that he cant be calm untill he talks to Arohi. Sanjana loved the way Arjun cared for arohi and smiled at him and once again told him not to worry and arohi will be back.
Arohi in the train was very depressed by her mothers behaviour and tears rolled down her eyes...Her mom saw that but could not help her... The train reached the station and her Arohi walked behind her mom... She followed her whereever she took her. And then her mom stopped at a cottage. She knoked at the door and a beautiful girl in her simple makeup opened the door and smiled looking at her mom. She shouted- "Mummy, Maasi is there and that too with her daughter! " Arohi got to know that the girl was supposed to be her cousin. Arohi got shoked and her mind had tousands of more questions abt what was happening with her...
