While di wiped my tears.i saw Gauri helping mom with the lunch and I remembered what I had intended to ask. I hesitated at first but then I was curious to know about it. 'di, tell me truthfully what do you think of Gauri?' di smiled. 'So you've met her. What did she say? I bet she asked you a lot about Chachu. His likes-dislikes. Chachu had told her he was the closest to you. So I guess she had kept all her questions till your return.' I was surprised, I hate to admit it but a bit sad too that probably di didn't know anything about her. 'No that's not the problem. The only thing she talked to me about was my.. I mean she talked only about Arjun.' I turned scarlet. What was I talking about. My Arjun. Was I just about to say that? I tried to shut my brain up. Probably it was working too much these days. It was now that di sensed the problem. 'ooh so the problem is not that she didn't mention chachu but that she kept on talking about Arjun. Now I see.' Di was actually smiling. Teasing me infact. Which I failed to notice and understand. Probably I did hate the fact that she kept talking about Arjun mainly. But why? I don't like him. Not after knowing that we can't be together. I mean I shouldn't like him. Then why? 'di what is cooking between them?' curiosity made me ask that. Just plain curiosity, mind you. But di started laughing. I was puzzled. 'buddhu! You will always remain adamant. Cooking ha! She's going to be your chichi and you think she likes your boyfriend?' 'di he is not….' 'ya ya we all know that..' Arjun doesn't even talk about her if that's what you want to know!' unknowingly that did get me a smile on my face though that woman still made me feel fishy. 'Purvi, Amrit Bhabhi is calling you inside.' I looked up and saw that same fishy woman torturing my eyes. Di left. Its not that I hated Gauri, I didn't even know her. But just watching her talk so intensely about Arjun made me uncomfortable somehow. I probably should be frank with her. About what though? And why? 'Arohi, we need to talk. Rajveer has told me so much about you. It seems like I already know you and besides you seem almost my age probably you'll understand me even better.' I smiled at her. She seemed genuine.i started to say something when suddenly someone screeched my name at the top of her voice. She came running towards me. 'you came! I'm so happy. I had told di you'd come. Her wedding's gonna be awesome now.!' I hugged my best friend and Shefali in return almost dragged me from there. I awkwardly said bye to Gauri and went away with Shefali. We reached my room where I found two people already seated over there. Sanchit and Arjun.

'Arjun I want to talk to you about Romit can you please come with me for a second?' Arjun didn't seem as surprised as I was. Then I remembered Di's words- he was the Arohi here too. He had probably become Shefali's best friend by now too. I smiled at them. 'what happened Shefali? What has Romit done now?' Arjun asked seriously. 'Nothing. I lied. Arjun don't you think you should tell Arohi about Gauri now?' 'Gauri… Arohi… what? Why?' 'Arjun don't be stupid I reached at the right time today and mind you luck is not gonna favour you all the time. We all know if Arohi comes to know about it you'll lose her again and….' 'but I never liked Gauri, you know that.' 'yes I do but its better she hears it from you than from her. Think over it.' Shefali turned to leave. 'why're you telling me all this? I mean helping me out and all?' shefali replied with a matter-of-fact tone 'Arjun probably you didn't realize that had lost my best friend too back then and unknowingly maybe you've been my best friend when she wasn't here. I'm just doing my job.' She smiled leaving a puzzled Arjun behind.
