The last

Arjun went to get a cup of coffee with Ria, as they walked down the hospital stairs ria asked. "I have to ask. I'm sorry, for the last time, why aren't you two together again?" there was total Silence from Arjun it took him a few seconds to build his words up." No, I know. I know, because you're not in that place. " Ria suggested."It's'its complicated okay?" he murmured in an unconfident tone."I told her that I love her but she still has not given me an answer." He said as he sat down with his coffee placed in his right hand."Yeah that's true. Yeah, you love her. You have a child together. There is no right answer." Ria held." Look, we've been living together for over 8 months. Okay? We've fought, hated each other but now we have a baby which is the greatest feeling i have ever felt. There was a slight Pause before he finished his sentence of." It's just if-if we got together and it didn't work out'I could never do that to Alisha. I mean I do want to be with her."

(Next day home)

Arohi is placed Alisha down in her cot when Arjun entered into the bed room." Okay I put most of the stuff away. Is there anything else you need?" Arohi picked up the blanket, "ermm...The diapers? I don't think there any left would you get some" as she positioned the blanket over her child. "yeah sure" he nodded."Alright thanks, oh Arjun could you stop by a coffee place and get me a muffin?" she requested as arjun was about to leave her room."Sure what kind?" he spoke as her turned around." Umm let me think...What do I want, what d-o I w-a-n-t..." she thought. "Please take your time, it's an important decision. Not like, say, I know! Deciding about if you love someone or not, this is about a muffin." He said sarcastically, soon after Arohi was quick to react,"chcoloate chip.yeah that one, could you please get me that one. Thanks." Arohi thought to herself Gosh how long is this going last; there is so much friction between us.

(Couple days later)

"Try feeding her again." Sara suggested as she, knelt down." I already fed her." She said as she rocked Alisha."I know, that's why I said again! or try holding her a different way." Ria recommended."You guys, I'm doing the best I can, and anyone else is welcome to try." She sighed as she stopped rocking Alisha within her arms."Alright, I'll try, fine! Yes, Okay!" she handed Alisha over to Ria, who tried all her best to clam her down."Shh! Nothing works with this child!" she Handed her back Arohi."Oh god what am I going to do you guys, I can't even comfort my own baby! I'm the worst mother ever! Like ever" she spoke as her face drooped into distressing expression."You're just new at this, it'll get better, think about your first day at work. I mean, that couldn't have been easy but you figured that out." She handed her to Sara who began rocking her side to side."Yes I did it you Sara, and you are the Super Aunt. You are the official baby crier stopper!" Arohi squealed in exhaustion and gladness."You're never leaving the apartment!" She said as she hugged her in relief."Say what?"Sara replied in a confused manner."That's your new job, day and night, she starts crying I need you here. Like ASAP" Sara stood up and handed Alisha back to Arohi "Oh no no no no!" she repeated." Look, you have to do it yourself, it will take time but everything will fall in place." She said in a consoling mode.

(9:00pm)

Arjun returned from work, he sat on the sofa trying to release the tiredness from his shoulder. Moment later Arohi joined him. Arjun made a disheartening facial expression and he turned towards Arohi. Why has she not answered me yet he questioned himself" What? What? Arjun you're scaring me why are you making that face. What's going on?" she said as she sat beside him on the sofa. Arjun did not respond hastily, "the thing is..." he said in a low tone."Yeah?" Arohi said softly."Don't go." He said with a broken voice. "Please, please stay with me. I am so in love with you. Please, don't go to Delhi, I've said this before but you never answered me back. Just Do not go to Delhi." There was a silence. When you become aware of silence, immediately there is that state of inner motionless alertness. You are feeling the present for the first time." Okay. 'Cause this is where I wane be with you, okay? No more messing around. I don't want to mess this up. I just want us to be a family. "He stood up and looked her within the eyes they were both lost in each other's ambiance, creating each other's warmth." I do love you." She said as she rose from the sofa." I love you too, and I'm never letting you go again." His arms were firmly wrapped around her waist and she fitted tightly into his chest, and her head on his shoulder."Me neither, okay? We are - we're done being stupid. Okay. You and me, alright? This is it. I am not leaving you." She whispered."Yeah, were done being stupid." He said as her kissed her forehead.

Yes this is the end, sorry for making it short. Just that academic year is starting in a couple of day's time and I cannot mange two FF. So Baby on the way had to come to an end.

Must say I am sad about you finishing this FF..but as every good thing needs to come to an end so is every lovely FF...have thoroughly enjoyed their journey...your regular updates stretching on every minute details have made me happy made me sad at times but I have always loved it as It had brought back so many memories...
