"Arohi meet Jia "Arjun introduced them to each other." hi" they both said in unison.Arjun decieded to get into changed so left both girls alone for a while.they sat on opposite each other.there was no tension but nervous smiles kept on occurring on both of they faces."So how did you an Arjun meet?" Arohi asked Jia so she could break the silence."Well, actually we have known each form university.since then we have been touch and have been good friends."
Arohi: oh okay, so you're an architect to?
Jia: no, I am a journalist like my mother; I work at vogue Arjun told me that you are one to.
Arohi: yeah, I work at Elle.
Jia: sorry if I am wrong, but are you Arohi Raichand. "Yes I am"
Jia:I love your writing,that last piece that you did,I must say it was one of your best.on the otherhand I have heared alot about you from my mom." arohi was slightly confused " your mom?" arohi questioned."Anita Kalra"
(what!!! You're her daughter.she's talking good about me) "so you're her daughter." jia nodded to confirm.
Couple of minutes later Arjun joined both of them.from Arjun point of view they were getting along and laughing."So what's so funny, would you like to share"
"Erm...arohi was just telling me that, when you were young you used to dress up as a girl" jia laughed. (Why arohi, why do you always do this.) "NO, pfff she lying "he tried to make her believe." I told you he would not admit it" arohi smiled cheekily.Arjun felt embarrassed and the colour of his face changed. "well I think it's cute" Jia said giving Arjun a kiss on the cheek.soon after that arohi decided to leave them alone and she headed to her bedroom.
(Next day Friday 9:00pm at the club)
"Hey you look nice!"Arjun Said to neev." It sounds like you're asking me out on a man date." Arjun laughed.
"Neev, why are you so afraid of loving me? let's share some bromance."
Neev: talking of bromance there is our third bro sid.Arjun and Sid were left alone as neev went to get they drinks.
Sid: Arjun, what happend between me and arohi was my fault.I kissed her, forced her.I just wanted to clear the air.
Arjun: what!!! (Lower your voice) her cleared his throat I dont care am cool. (Man! Why did I yell at her when it was not her fault?)
Sid: are you sure, you did not seem happy at the time.
Arjun: erm... I was tired then, that's all.
(Girls at the apartment)
Nick: oh I wish i worked as a senior editor at vogue.
Arohi: really???
Nick: Yeah Arohi, newsflash, you aren't the only one with hopes and dreams.ria turned the TV on and started watching it
Sara: what are you watching it Looks like a gay version of Star Trek. Change the channel Ria.
Nick; hello!!! Pointing at himself "have forgotten there is a gay person in the room, but Sara I agree it is."
RIA: oh I love it! Your so proud.I wish there were more straight men manufactured like you.
Arohi: talking about vogue, Arjun new girlfriend Jia works there, she is an editor and she's Karla daughter.
Sara: you mean that so called b***h you go on about all the time, the one with many facelifts."Yeah her" Arohi said.
Nick: oohh...tell me more how is she's like?
Arohi: she seemed nice open and friendly, nothing like Karla.
Nick: that it.I so wanted a b****hing session.
Sara: don't you mind he's that he's dating other girls, I mean I would
Arohi: nope! I don't think anything between me and Arjun is possible, so why would I stop him he can do whatever he wants. Taking a bite of a carrot.
(Club)
The guys were seemed to be having a great night."Guys I think I should head off home, your sister Sara will be wondering what I am up to." they began to hoot, "Controlled by your wife" they teased. "Wait until you guys get married, we'll be in the same boat." Couple of minutes later Arjun decided to head off home to. "See you guys" arjun said to Sid and neev.He drove through the city.It was about 11:00 and the, once busy streets had returned to their serene.It was as if the whole city had shut down and descended into darkness. He parked his car in the drive way and entered the apartment.
"Hello gawjus"nick stated."Hey" (get away from me man!)
Couple of seconds later Arohi entered the lounge holding wires in her hand.
"arjun, why do you always leave your wires hanging about.what about if I trip." arohi said in a demanding tone." well use your big eyes, it's about time you put them to use." he snapped back." nick, talk some sense into him.You know, nick, it's OK - you can totally disagree with arjun and he doesn't hit you or psychically shame you in any way."
"I think I should go, bye people" nick left the apartment, and it fell silent." arohi. Erm... (say it) sorry for yelling at you, about you and Sid, I am sorry it wasn't your fault.hope you can forgive me."Arjun said in a soft tone."Yeah"arohi replied. "She was just about to leave when Arjun called her back.
One more thing, you...you want to become friends...erm you don't have to but if you...Want to...Th...Then". There was a paused (is he drunk.friends!) Arohi smiled "am going to bed."(Okay what is that meant to mean) "Arohi, I am not joking am serious'..you can take your time"
(What's the possible harm?) "Yeah okay"
