Love is in the air
I woke up late today, and I'm late so I'm cutting short my dress choosing time. We have to reach the starting point in about 45 minutes and I'm not yet ready. I'm simply having an urge to slap myself for staying up late yesterday, that too because I was replaying the ice cream parlor scene in my head a thousand times. Why am I such a childlike creature? Whatever focus Arohi what to wear? After some minutes thought I decided to go for a long jacket n boots, it gave me a classy look.
Finally satisfied I strode out of my room and went to the lobby Mikhail and Arjun were already there waiting for us. Gauri and I reached at the same time. After that we left for our destination.
But apparently Gauri was not well so when we reached there, Mikhail took Gauri to a medical shop nearby and told us not to wait but we decided to wait. After sometime my stomach suddenly growled oh buggers! I skipped breakfast and now I'm very hungry but oh god if Arjun had heard it. my cheeks got color at the thought.
"Hey you know I'm feeling kinda hungry. Let's go have something" he suddenly said.
"uh what?"
"I'm hungry. Let's go" he dragged me along the way.
My cheeks must look like tomatoes by now. I know he is not hungry but since I'm hungry he is making all sorts of stories so that I get to eat something. My only thought now is 'Oh he is such a sweetheart'. I sighed.
"What happened?" he asked.
"Uh? Oh nothing." I smiled.
In return I got one of the mind muddling smiles. I just stared.
We ate in silence, well technically I did the eating and he just watched me eat.
When we were done and we reached the joshimath's ropeway point yet Mikhail and Gauri were nowhere to be seen. So I called them.
"Hey did you guys already reached?" asked Gauri.
"No, where are you guys?"
"Well we are in the cable car. Where are you?"
"Oh god we are still in joshimath, we were waiting for you guys then we went to have some food and maybe then you two went away."
"Yeah we told you not to wait. So I thought you were gone. So we left sorry"
"Its okay, we are coming don't worry" with that I disconnected the phone and explained the situation to Arjun.
"Okay so let's go" he said.
With that we left when we reached there, only two of us were remaining.
Although the cable cars can accommodate 4 people at a time still they let us go.
Its been years since I've been on a cable car, actually its been years I've been anywhere. I was never afraid of heights but I don't know why but my heart is racing I don't know but my senses are saying something's going to happen.
