new fanfic part 26 on page 38 - Page 27

Arjun's bua and her family came to pick up dadi from the hospital and Rey came with them. We all packed to go back to New York. From there Rey and I would Greyhound back to Edinboro. Before leaving we went to pick up dadi. Bua's family was happy, sort of but when we went to see her she didn't seem too happy with the news. I didn't have time to dwell over it though. Savita Maasi told me not to worry and just think of finals. Arjun was going to pick me up again after finals to bring me back to Scarborough.

I'm back in Boro and it is crazy especially with Rey complaining and what not!

Arohi: Whats your problem. We have 2 weeks left. Stop bugging and start studying!

Rey: Dude, this is a lot easier than India. I'll pass with flying colors.

Arohi: Fine, then at least let me study. It's kinda tough for me.

Rey: Come on. Ever since we came back you haven't talked.

Arohi: About?

Rey: Arjun.. The ring... The proposal.. Dadi...

Arohi: O yeah, well its been almost 6 months and we haven't talked about you either!

Rey: There is nothing to talk about.

Arohi: Umm.. Yes there is. Especially after the anniversary party... You can't deny it anymore Rey.

Rey: Ro, that's none of your business

Arohi: Ya, then neither is this!

Rey: That's not fair.

Arohi: Not fair? Dude, you're my best friend. I tell you everything but you still won't talk!

Rey: I already told you. There is nothing left to talk about.

Arohi: Ya there is Rey and you know it.

Rey: She slapped me Arohi! I didn't do anything and she slapped me. I was going to befriend her and she slapped me!

Arohi; Rey... Calm down.

Rey: No, you wanna talk about it. Lets talk. When I met her, I wasn't sure what to think about her but hat attitude... I couldn't just leave it. I know she is not popular like I am but still I wanted to befriend her. Rose day tha, tho main rose dene wala tha but instead she slapped me!

Arohi: Koi tho vajah hogi. Girls don't just randomly go up to boys and slap them.

Rey: It was because I was competition to her.

Arohi: Competition? What competition.

Rey: GS. Who was going to be the GS. She wanted to win to impress her mom while my friends forced me. They mostly ran my campaign while she did everything in her power. She was even giving speeches.

Arohi: What about you? You were running too, right?

Rey: Yeah, but that's not my style. I was going to wait it out.

Arohi; Koi tho baat hogi. You've told me about her before. Yeh vohi hai na joh...

Rey: Ya, that's her.

Arohi: You said your friends were running your campaign...

Rey: Ro, you don't know my friends so don't start shooting allegations.

Arohi; You're right... I'm sorry. I'm just saying there must've been more. I mean you must have talked to her afterwords.

Rey: She slapped me in front of everyone for no apparent reason. It was embarrassing. The next day, when the votes were in, I won but I stepped down and came here for a semester.

Arohi: I can't say you did wrong because I found an amazing friend In you, but I can tell you that it wasn't correct either. You just ran from your problems instead of fixing them.

Rey: It was stupid. I mean she was clearly upset. She even told me not to touch her and if I did she might do something stupid. Then I did and she slapped me.

Arohi: Well, nobody's upset with you...

Rey: But they are at her and my friends are at both of us.

Arohi: What do you mean?

Rey: I haven't spoken to Sharon in forever. I sometimes msg her on facebook to let her know I'm okay but that's it.

Arohi: Usko kabhi kiya hai?

Rey: Kyun karoon?

Arohi: Rey, don't be so pigheaded! You told her many times you wanted to be friends, or at least not fight. You claim you secretly love her but you're just a wuss! Like the song I sang, "Dum hai ho Aana mujhko Thaam ne, Mujhe PYAAR karna SABKE SAAMNE" And if you can't you may as well just stay at home!

I was so mad that after screaming at Rey, I just left to my room and we hadn't spoke since. It's finals week so we probably won't see each other anyways. Arjun's picking me up on Saturday morning, 10am sharp. My parents leave that Monday. So I won't be seeing them for a few days. Mom said something about wanting me to spend time with Arjun without Rajveer in the way. They claim if Rajveer will be there then Arjun will only spend time with him; not that I mind but whatever! Right now I'm so furious with Rey thatI can't think of anything else, other than exams.

I know its a short part but its essential. I want to get arjohi scenes just don't have time..lol but i;m getting there... promise
