SFF Arjun killing Kartar-Updated Chap 5-Page4

Arjun removes his gun checks if gun is loaded.

All the while he keeps remembering what RPS told him "Your mother was a very good woman. Kartar killed her just to add one more medal on his chest".

Arjun is enraged and cannot wait for the time he avenges his moms death. He keeps the gun on the table in front of his chair.

He keeps looking at the restroom door for Kartar to come out. The time feels like forever.

Kartar comes out and looks at Arjun sitting

Kartar: Arrey Arjun beta, kya baat hai. Tum yahan

Arjun: Haan mein aapko ek kahani sunana chahata hoon

Kartar: Baad me beta, chalo patry chal rahi hai. Sab humara intezaar kar rahe honge

Arjun: Intezar, Aaj tak mera intezaar Kisi ne nahi kiya Kartar Singhji

Kartar: Matlab, Mein kuch samjah nahi

Arjun: Matlab, aap samjhenge bhi nahi. Keher, aapko ek kahani sunatha hun. Shayad matlab aap samajh jahein

Arjun: Ek bachha tha. Duniya mein uska apne maa ke seva koi nahi tha. Koi bhi nahi (looks with rage at Kartar). Uski maa uskeliye sab kuch thi. Saari duniya se ladkar uski maa ne use janam diya tha. Who bachha bahut nadan tha. Apne khilono ke duniya mein Kush tha. Ajanak ek din kisine uski maa ko chin liya use ? badi beh rehemi se (chokes and takes time to continue).

Kartar: Arjun(and comes to hold and console him)

Arjun just avoids him and his touch and goes to other side

Arjun: Do saal ki umra mein who bachha anath ho gaya. Anath hona kya hota hai yeh aap nahi samjhenge nahi koi aur samjhega jiske pas parivaar hotha hai bachpan se. Do saal ki umar mein us bacche ko jungle mein chod diya gaya. Who jungle mein pala. Na koi uski ungli pakad kar chalane wala tha, na usko koi lori sunane wala. Jungle ka shor uskeliye lori bangayi aur bhook aur pyaas ne uska haath tham liya. (Chokes here again and takes support of dressing table)

Phir who bachha anathalay pohoncha. Anathalay mein usko gharibi, bhook aur pyaas ne behal kiya. Choti chotichizon ke liye ? Jo aap aamir log roz mara ki zindagi mein istimal karne se pehle sochte bhi nahi hain un chizonke liye use ladna padtha tha.Kitne ratein usne thand mein kampthe hue bithaye aur kitni ratein who bhooke pet soya iska isaab who bhul gaya.

Wahan se usko uske dad ne ghod liya, ek parivaar diya-maa, bahi behen saab diya. Bas kaami thi tho pyar ki. Maa ke anchaal ki. Acche sanskaroon ki aur use ungli pakad kar sahi raha dikane wale ki. Shareer ki bhook pyaas mit gayi magar ruh ki bhook pyaas nahi miti thi(chokes again and stares at Kartar) aur nahi zindagi mein kabhi mit payegi.

Aur iski wajah aap janthe hain kaun tha- who insaan jisne kohi janch nahi ki kohi rehem nahi dikaya aur baas apne seene pe tankne wale ek medal keliye meri maa ko maardala(Looks at Kartar in rage)

Woh aap the DIG Kartar Singh Ahluwaliah aap. Aapne do zindagiyan barbaad ki hai. Meri maa ki aur meri. Mujhe criminal banana wale aap hai mujhse bachpan mein meri maa ko chin kar meri hatoon mein bansuri ke bhajaye bandok tamane wale aap hai. Khoon ke liye agar sazaye maut hai to zindage barbaad karne ke liye bhi sazaye maut hai.

Arjun goes to remove gun from the table but remembers Arohi words and hesitates.

When suddenly lights go off and a gun shot is heard

Everyone comes running up and Arvind switches on light

Kartar is shot and on floor and Arjun standing a bit shocked. Arjun's gun lying near Kartar.

Arvind: Papa, yeh kisne kiya

Kartar shows his finger towards Arjun and dead. Everyone shocked. Arjun himself shocked.

Rajveer goes and starts hitting Arjun saying he will not leave him alive today.

Arohi shouts: Stop

Everyone staring at Arohi

Arohi removes her gun and holds it to her temple

Arjun comes back to sense: Haan yeh sach hai mein Kartar Singhji ko marna chahtha tha. Magar mera yakeen mano Arohi maine unpe goli nahi chalahi

Arohi: Kaise yakeen karun. Tumpe apni maa ke khoon ka badla lene ka bhoot savar tha kaise maanlun kaise

She clicks on trigger

Arjun: Arohi?????.Tumhari kasam Arohi, Meri maa ki kasaam. Meine yeh khoon nahi kiya

Arohi drops gun and sits and starts crying

Rajveer pulls Arjun down and tells cops to take him to jail

Shefali later on consoles Arohi: Tume kya lagtha hai Arohi, Arjun ne dadu ko maara hai

Arohi: Arjun meri jhoot kasam nahi kayega shefali aur who mar jayega magar apni maa ki jhoti kasam kabhi nahi ka saktha. Usne dadu ko nahi maara hai.

Arjun is thrown in jail. He is confused sad that dadu lost his life but at same time happy his mothers killer got his punishment.

Rajveer comes late night in interrogation room and says

"Aaj mein tumhe zinda nahi chodunga kaminey. Tum maut bhi mangoge to mein tumhe maut nahi aane dunga. "

Arjun smiles and replies: Meri maa ko insaaf mil gaya, aab mujhe maut bhi aaye to hanske gale laga hunga. Fiqar hai to mujhe Arohi ki, ke who mere baari mein kya sochthi hai. Kya who bhi mujhe qatil manthi hai.

Rajveer goes on to torture Arjun badly.

Scene2: Arohi visits Arjun in jail

Arjun does not really care for the torture because he really has rage in his heart. He wanted to give a piece of his mind to Rajveer and Arvind when they were torturing him but the shock of his mom's death revelation was too much for him.

He remembers the last shock he got from Sudhir who said "You came to know about your moms death. Thats why you shot dad. But it was my mistake not his".

If Rajveer had not dragged him down and handed him to the police he would not have have left that place without getting answers from Sudhir on his mom's death.

He cannot believe just two days back the same people who were treating him like a son were acting like he was the most dreaded criminal. Rajveer hit him in house when Kartar pointed at him but thats OK, they were emotional initially when they saw their family member died.

But even after Arjun said he had not killed Kartar in front of everyone they never bothered to ask his version and Rajveer had just dragged him to jail. He could not believe it. But he was too shocked to know Sudhir -Arohi's dad was responsible for his mom's death. Arohi's dad?

And Rajveer was exceeding his limits by torturing him even after he had told honestly told what had happened. Why were they not verifying his version of the story? Poor Kartar saab had to loose his life. Who would have come and shot him that too when Arjun himself had gone to kill him. Did the real killer know Arjun had planned to kill him- it was obivous they knew else why his gun was not on table where Arjun had kept and on ground next to Kartar.

Arjun thinks who may be trying to frame him? Someone in that party definetly was the killer or may be was hand in glove with killer. Arjun keeps thinking all this through out the night. Did Arohi really trust his words? Hope she trust him. He loved her a lot and did not want to go back to square one where Arohi never trusted his words and he had to again convince her of his love.

Its morning and Arohi comes to meet him in jail

Arjun: Arohi

Arohi: Kaise ho Arjun

Arohi sees his wounds from torture and has tears

Arohi: Itne saare zakaam. In logo ne tumhe maara-peetha

Arjun: Yeh zakhm baar jayenge. (Thinking -Par mere dil aur rooh pe pade zakhm nahi barenge). Tum mujhpe yakeen karthi ho naa...mein bhi kaise pagalon jaise sawaal puch raha hoon. Tum mujhse milne aayi ho to yakeen karthi ho

Arohi: Mein janthi hun Arjun tum meri aur apne maa ki jhooti kasam kabhi nahi kahoge

Arjun: Kal kya pagal pan karne jaa rahi thi. Mujhpe yakeen nahi hain tumhe

Arohi: Mein daar gayi Arjun, tumhare bagair mein kaise jee pathi

Arjun: Isiliye mere zinda hone par bhi marne jaa rahi thi...woh bhi mere ankhon ke saamne. Kya me jee patha agar tum koi bewaqoofi karthi to. jab tak Arohi ki dil ki dhadkan chalengi tab tak hi Arjun ki sansen chalengi. Kya yeh tumhe pata nahi hai

Arohi: Itna pyaar karthe ho mujhe(Keeping her hand on his mouth)

Arjun removes her hand: Pyar, pyar kaun kartha hai tumse. Mein tumhari ibadaat karthan hun. Is duniya mein bilkul akela hun. Mere apne maa-baap nahi hai, apna ghar nahi hai. Agar duniya mein mera koi hai jise mein apna ke saktha hun woh tum ho. Tum meri maa-baap, bhai-behen, dost-dushman, biwi-baccha saab kuch ho. Jahan tum kadi ho jathi ho-woh mera ghar banjatha hai

Arohi has tears hearing this and Arjun also getting emotional thinking about Arohi and what her love means for him

Police comes and tells her to leave.

Arjun: Apna kayal rakhna Arohi

Arohi: Yeh to mujhe kehna jahiye tumko

Arjun: maine kaha, tumne kaha ek hi baat hai

Arohi: I love you Arjun. Apna khayal rakhna. Mein chalthi hun.
