Varun's outhouse:

Arjun did place the bet but he was unsure if he really wanted Varun to go ahead with it. Varun was already drunk. Plus Arjun also knew that he took bets seriously.

"So'.Should I tell him that the bet is off??...Arjun thought'..But then I would never come to know whether she is also like the other girls''But why do I care if she is like others or not?...I mean I don't like her'..would never want to meet her again'..and still she is the only one occupying my thoughts right now''.Ehhh''.I need a drink'..need to clear my head'..But wait, let me stop Varun first'..tell him that I lose and he won'.no need of all the drama'."

He went to Varun who was still drinking.

Arjun: Listen, I give up. The bet is off. I think she will fall for you'.so let it go..

Varun: okk. So you give up. Then its fine. So you agree that I can trap any girl and all the girls in the world want Varun to be their boyfriend'

Arjun (rolling his eyes): Ya'...Right...Whatever.

With that, Arjun went to the bar and Varun continued enjoying his party.

After a while, the girl came out of the washroom. Varun saw her and approached her. Arjun was standing with Rajeev at the bar. He turned his face and noticed Varun talking to the girl.

"I told him the bet was off'...still he is going for all this drama'...This guy will never listen.."Arjun thought.

Arjun started walking towards them and stopped when he heard their convo'.

Varun: Hi beautiful'😉

Girl looking at Varun, trying to avoid him: I'm sorry, I'm a little busy. Can i ignore you later?

Varun ignored what she said. He tried his old tricks'.some cheesy pick up lines..

Varun: I hope you know CPR, coz you take my breath away!

Girl: Save your breath. You'll need it to blow up your date.

The girl tries to walk away but Varun stops her.

Girl: Look Mr., whoever you are. I am not in a good mood. And surely never in a mood to talk to flirts like you. I've only got one nerve left, and you're getting on it.

The girl hated all the flirts. She didn't like all the lies they spoke. And on top of it what she hated a lot were tacky cheesy pickup lines and apparently Varun had a collection of them.

Varun: You must be in a wrong place - the Miss Universe contest is not out here.

Girl: No, I am in there right place. In fact you are in the wrong place...

Mr. Dumb competition isn't here.

Varun: Why does it feel like the most beautiful girl in the world is in this

room?

Girl: I hope you meet her. Well, they do say opposites attract'...so I sincerely hope you meet someone who is attractive, honest, intelligent, and cultured.

Hearing this, a smile came across Arjun's face.😊 He didn't feel like stopping Varun now. Infact he was enjoying the convo and wanted it to continue'

Varun was not ready to back off. The word "Rejection" wasn't in his dictionary.

Varun: If beauty were sunlight, you'd shine from a million light-years away

Girl: Keep talking, someday you'll say something intelligent!! 🥱

Varun: Are you an angel, I see heaven in your eyes.

Girl: Are you always this stupid or are you making a special effort today?

You know what?... I think people might clap when they see you'.. their hands either over their eyes or ears.

Arjun wants to laugh aloud but he controls himself.😆

Girl: Some people cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go. You of course belong to the second category.

Arjun was happy. He finally was having a good time.You go girl!!...his heart said.👍🏼

Varun was getting angry.😡 The girl is refusing Varun Singhania??.. She tried to leave again, but Varun didn't let her. That's it'she thought'...now she had to teach him a lesson...'He can't just bother anyone like this.

Varun: Girls fall for me; I get any girl I want. I don't even know the meaning of rejection.

Girl: The dumb you are, I won't be surprised if you didn't know the meaning of many words.

Arjun 👏 Varun 😡

Girl: Look, I will give you a free advice'...don't go to a mind reader; go to a palmist instead; coz I know you've got a palm. Brains aren't everything. In fact, in your case they're nothing!

Arjun 😲 Varun 😡😡

Girl: I don't know what makes you so dumb but it really works for you, isn't it?...Because all the girls who fall for you are more stupid than you are...'plus it's not your fault at all'... You can't fix stupid!!

Arjun 🤣

Arjun: "Dude, she is awesome'..I like her"..❤️

Rajeev stares at Arjun 😲'.who by now was standing beside him listening to the convo too.

Rajeev: Hmmm'..like huh??...somebody wanted to kill her a while ago.

Arjun embarrassed as he didn't notice Rajeev heard what he said'

Arjun: "I mean, I like the convo''...I like the way she is teaching Varun a lesson'...that's it'...I don't like her.." 😳

Rajeev gives a wicked smile. 😊 "ok"'...he says'... "I will agree to it if your heart agrees to it too"'

Rajeev knew Arjun from years. He had heard his convo with the girl before and was even surprised...'Arjun never did talk to a girl for so long'...and he was even observing Arjun while he was busy listening to Varun and the girl's convo...'Arjun had a bad day but this convo was just cheering him up...'.He was feeling happy for the fact that this particular girl was refusing Varun's proposal'...And "I like her"'.these words were totally unexpected from Arjun'.

All this made it clear to Rajeev that Arjun was interested in that girl'...well he would surely deny it'...but truth will be the same even after it is denied.

Varun: Are you calling me stupid?😡😡😡

Girl: Calling you stupid would be an insult to stupid people. You know'what...don't let you mind wander ... it's far too small to be let out on its own.

Arjun getting impressed.😃

Varun: You know who I am?😡 😡 I'm am Varun Singhania.

Girl: Pardon me, but you've obviously mistaken me for someone who gives a damn.

Finally, the words were out. Arjun had won the bet. 🥳 She didn't give a damn. She refused Varun Singhania. Oh, Arjun was so happy to hear that. More than that, he was happy that she didn't fall for him and the way she answered 👏...He just felt like giving the girl a big hug..🤗

"ohh wait, why is Varun still talking to her?"...he thought.

Varun was far too angry now.😡 😡 😡 😡His ego was badly hurt. Varun grabbed her arm firmly.

Girl: Leave me'..

She slaps him. Varun 😡 😡

He is about to hit her back when he notices a firm grip over his hand stopping him. It was Arjun.

Varun: Let go off me Arjun.

Arjun: You are drunk Varun ...'.enough'...you don't need to hit her..

Varun: Yes, you are right'...I don't need to hit her'

He looks at the girl

Varun: I know how to handle girls like you. Girls like you come to such parties to trap rich guys, so that they fall for your tricks'...I know why you are refusing me, because I haven't shown you the money yet.

I am the host. You are standing in my house and slapping me??'...Who do you think you are?😡'.As a matter of fact, who gave you the permission to come to this party'I didn't invite you'

The girl didn't know that Varun was the host.

Girl: Listen, I didn't come here on my own. I am here with a friend'...she requested me to come along'...her name is Shef'

Varun: Friend'ya that's right'..this party is only for rich, decent girls'.and I am sure none of them will ever want to become friends with a girl like you''...You're a s**t. Guys only chill with you 'cause you give it up. Look at your dress. Who comes to a party wearing something like that. This shows from where you come'.

I don't want people like you wandering in my party'...This is a party for reputed people only'...I don't want them to think that I have starting inviting s**ts and wh**es to this party'..you *****🤬

The girl slaps him again.Varun

Varun is unable to do anything as Arjun was still holding him.

Girl: Neither do I want to stay in this party for even one more second'...I would want to stay alone then to be in a party full with rich spoiled brats and d*** headed people like you.

Varun: Get out of my house right now. If I see you again I will kill you. 😡

The girl leaves.

Arjun: Its enough Varun'..you took the bet too seriously and insulted the girl badly.

Rajeev looked at Arjun and gave an expression to him saying that this isn't the right time to give speeches on righteousness to Varun'...Firstly he is drunk and angry'..Rajeev looks at Varun.

Varun: I will not forget this. I will teach her a lesson for sure.

Rajeev: Leave it na. See, it's your party and your guest. The girl has left. She won't bother you again. Just enjoy the party. Come, let's have a drink. He takes Varun at the bar.

Arjun was surprised to see that none other than Varun, the girl , Rajeev and him ever noticed what was going on. People were so busy partying,🥳 they hardly paid attention to anything around. Many of them were drunk and were enjoying the music and dancing. The music subsided the whole fight.

Well, after a while everything became normal; it was for others but now for Varun too.

Arjun was surprised about the things that happened to him today. He was mad at his dad for the office, the chess etc. Then he runs into a girl and has a fight with her and now he was protecting the same girl whom he himself wanted to kill earlier; that too going against his friend whom he was meeting after so long and who actually invited him to his party.

Why did he do that?'...maybe because Varun was going to hit a girl, he felt bad?...Nooo'...he himself was going to do that and would have done had it not been Rajeev who stopped him'..then what changed?...why did I put the bet in the first place?'...why did I feel good when I won the bet?'...why did I feel good that she was not like any girl in the room?'...something in her made her special'..of course'...Mr. Arjun Garewal was thinking about a girl'..she had to be special'...but she left'...That Varun!!!...How did he insult her?...just because she didn't fall for him'...If the girl wouldn't have hit him, I would have done it myself'...Ohhh'...wait'...what am I thinking??...He is my friend'.And I can't hit him and that too for a unknown girl?

All these thoughts were bothering Arjun. Somehow everything became normal to others but he just couldn't get her out of mind. He wasn't enjoying the party at all. In fact he was bored. He wanted to leave. He looked at his watch. It said 11:30. He remembers that Rajeev told him not to leave before midnight.

"Well, where I can stay here for so long, I can stay for some minutes more"'Arjun thought.

He thought of going out for a smoke. Maybe that might help him get over the girl. He should be back by 12. He thought of telling Rajeev but he was already busy talking to a girl.

"He was there with me and Varun the whole time controlling our anger. He didn't get to enjoy at all. Let me leave him with the girl and not disturb them."'He thought.

His other friends were nowhere to be seen. So he just went out. He was again in the front ward; the parking lot facing the beach. The sea looked marvelous, the moonlight, the silence...Away from all that music and shouting..only the noise of the waves'.

"just perfect!!...He thought.

Arjun would love to stay there forever.

There were garden benches placed in front of the parking lot which were facing the sea. These garden benches were one of those outdoor iron ones white in color; and were placed far from one another. Arjun thought whoever the architect was; he surely thought of couples and about their privacy. The benches had two pole dim lights on both the side.

He lights his cigarette. He went forward to grab a seat...'but most of them were already occupied by "kissing couples" and Arjun surely didn't have any intentions to spend even a sec with them.

He just noticed that there was one which had a vacant seat. Only one girl was sitting on the bench.

Arjun: Is this seat vacant?

Girl: Yes and mine will be too, if you sit down.

She says it without even looking at him. She didn't care who it was. Every guy in the party was the same.

Arjun looks at her. Arjun is shocked to find'. "It's her!!...The way she is talking'...it clearly states that she is angry'... Arjun beta, you better leave"'He says to himself.

He turns and as he is about to leave, something holds him back. "There are tears in her eyes. She is crying"'😭...He thought. He just felt a pain in his heart; like he could actually feel her sorrow. Somehow he just couldn't see her cry; don't know why; but now he didn't even feel like leaving her and going back to the party. So he just quietly sat beside her.

For few minutes he was just trying to gather strength to start the convo with her especially with all that happened inside.

Girl coughs and tries to avoid smoke.

Arjun notices that the smoke from the cigarette was irritating her. He puts away the cigarette; still sitting beside her in silence.

Guys i know, the FF sounding a lot like typical hindi movies, but I wanted the convo between Varun and the girl to be witty as well as hilarious. i am stopping here because i want Arjuhi scene to be a bit romantic...so will have to work on it. Well the atmosphere is perfect...
