Hey Guys, this is my first OS, and I really wanted to write this, so here I am...hope you all like it 😳
Ignore the errors, I am too tired to correct them right now 😆

Arohi had gone to visit her grandparents during her summer vacations. It had been nearly 4 weeks since she was there and she was familiar with the place now. She had also made friends, they were all her grandparents friends grandchildren. This was a small town, and everyone knew each other. Soon, she had become really good friends with everyone around, especially with one, Arjun.
Arjun and Arohi had become comfortable with each other after the first meeting. It was as if after the whole introduction and awkward phase, they were talking to each other like they were friends from a long time. Every day and every night they talked on the phone for at least 4 hours. She would talk to him all day and could never get enough of it and neither could he. They had become each others best of friends in just 1 month. Arjun knew everything about her and she knew everything about him. There was no secrecy. They could tell even from just a hi, or a smile what the others mood was like.
Arohi met her friends in the evening, but most of her attention was given to Arjun. Her friends, Shefali, Gauri, Purvi, and Simi told her that night at the sleepover that she seems to be attracted to Arjun. Arohi had brushed it off, thinking her friends were just teasing her. But, after a few days she couldn't stop herself from thinking about Arjun in a different way. She began noticing that she was blushing at the mere thought of his name.
It was 9pm, and Arohi had just come home after hanging out with her friends. She sat down for dinner, but just then her phone rang. The name 'Arjun' flashed on the screen and she jumped. Not because she was shocked or surprised to see his call, she knows he calls her right after reaching home every day. She had seen his name flashing on her screen after days, she had been ignoring him after she realized that she has begun to have feelings for him. Arohi had told Arjun that for a few days he shouldn't call her or meet her because her grandparents don't like her interacting with boys so much, they were a little old fashioned in their thoughts. Arjun knew she was lying because he knew her grandparents more than she knew them. He had grown up in this town, and his grandparents were the best of friends with Arohi's. He knew how they were. He thought it was better to not ask her anything for a few days and just give her some space. But today, he decided that it was time to clear this out. He couldn't handle it and he had given her enough time.
Arohi put her phone on silent and continued eating. She kept glancing at her phone, everytime the screen lit up, but she ignored his calls. After eating, she checked her phone and saw that he had messaged her 20 times, and left 30 missed calls.
*I think it's time to answer his call* - Arohi thought.
Arohi's hands were shaking as she was about to press 'call', but then she decided to go against it.
"What will I tell him?? I can't tell him, Hey Arjun, you know from few days I have been thinking about you. Not in the way you think, but I think I like you now. He will think I have gone crazy."
Arohi began pacing around her room and then decided, that's it, I have to tell him or else I will loose him for good. Even if he doesn't feel the same way, I don't care, I can't just keep ignoring him, I can't hurt him anymore.
Arohi in full determination, and without thinking much, calls him.
Arohi: Arjun, sorry, I was having dinner when you called. My phone was on silent, so I didn't know you had called or messaged me.
Arohi didn't let him speak, she knew he would start yelling as soon as he'd answer, and she wouldn't be able to speak after that.
Arjun: OH GOD AROHI JUST STOP WITH YOUR EXCUSES NOW!!!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH. I KNOW YOU THINK I AM SOME IDIOT, BUT I AM NOT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOTTEN INTO YOU, BUT CLEARLY YOU ARE JUST IGNORING ME.
Arjun hears her sniffle through her tears and feels guilty and slaps his head for being so rude to her.
Arjun: I am so sorry baby, I know I shouldn't have yelled at you like that. I am sure there is some reason why you weren't talking to me. You are right, I am an idiot, I didn't even ask you what happened or anything. It's just I had missed you so much. You know that ever since you have come, there has not been a day I have not talked to you. But since few days you and I have not even talked to each other, let alone seen each others faces.
Arjun quiets down to breathe a little and Arohi decides it's time to speak.
Arohi: Can you meet me right now? I know it's 11pm and it's late, but I really have to meet you. Can you please come right now?
Arjun: Is that even a question to ask? I would come even if it was 4 in the morning. Ok wanna meet at our usual place?
Arohi: yes, let's meet there. I will see you in 5 minutes.
Arohi cuts the call and Arjun is really excited!! after 5 days he was going to meet her and talk to her. He had missed her so much! He didn't miss anybody like this like he had missed her. In just a month, she had become so close to him and was so special for him, he couldn't imagine not talking to her even a day. Only he knows how he had gone through 5 days without meeting her.

Arjun is already waiting for her in their special place, the garage. It was owned by an old person who no longer was using it. Now this place was more of a secret hide out of Arjun and Arohi. Whenever they wanted to talk to each other and hide from their friends, they would run to this place. Arjun was walking around the place and remembering all their moments together and his moments when he came here alone when Arohi had began ignoring him. He thought that Arohi would come here and he would get a chance to meet her, but I guess she knew him well. She knew that he would go there to search for her. It was 11:15pm and Arohi had still not come, he was getting worried because she was very punctual. He decides to wait 5 more minutes and if she doesn't come he will call her.
Arohi is in her room, she goes to wash her face, and puts on a nice dress. She thinks why is she dressing up? It's just Arjun and it's late at night, we are just going to be in our special place. Why am I dressing up? Arohi decides he might laugh at her if she comes there wearing a dress, she removes it and puts on her PJs. These were her favorite PJs. She had stolen it from Arjuns wardrobe and had told him that she really likes them and won't return it to him, they had even fought over it for 3 hours, but Arjun knows Arohi is stubborn and will have her way, so he lets go of the PJs and lets her keep it. Arohi has a smile on her face as she thinks about that day, Arjun looked so cute and adorable when he was angry. She snaps out of it and looks at the clock. It's 11:15 and Arjun must be getting worried about my whereabouts.
5 minutes later, Arohi reaches the garage and Arjun runs to her and pulls her into a tight hug. There is no space for air between them. He had missed her so much, he wasn't ready to let her go. He was so attached to Arohi so much even he wondered how their friendship had grown so much in so less time. He was a guy who barely opened up to anybody, but with Arohi he was himself and he didn't have to worry about what she thought of him.
"Arjunnn I can't breathe, let go me or I will slap you"
Arjun laughs and says "You have no idea how much I have missed 'my' fiesty Arohi"
and Arohi turns red at that and laughs with him.
"Here, I made this for you. I know you have been asking me to make my 'special' maggie for you from so long, and I would always tell you that we would go on a lunch date in a garden, but we never got around to that. So today I thought, why not make you this, we are meeting after so long, and I know that we are going to be talking for a while, so why not eat also?
Arohi grabbed the maggie from his hands and began to eat. She had just had dinner, but she could eat maggie anytime. It was her weakness. Arjun smiled as he saw her eat like a baby.
"IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD. I thought you were just showing off about it, but it's actually good, what do you have in this?? I mean, it's so basic to make it, but this is really good."
"Why should I tell you? If I tell you, then you will never ask me to make it, so let's just leave it a secret" Arjun winks at her as he says that and Arohi smacks him on his arm "Ouchhh, you know you hit really hard, right? See I have so many bruises because of you"
Arohi gives him a death glare and smacks him even harder, and then kicks him on his shin. "Ab bol, aur kuch bolna hain kya?"
"Nahin meri maa, you eat, and tell me what was so important that you wanted to call me here this late and ruin my sleep"
"saaleeinn kaameine maine tujhe force nahin kiya hain. Jaa tu tere ghar jaa, aur aaram se sohle." said Arohi in anger
"arrey yaar tujhse main 5 dinon baad mila iska matlab yeh nahin ke you forget how my sense of humor is"
"aur tujhe kya laga? ke maine tujhe seriously liya hain?" "I know you better than you know yourself, and not even you can take that right away from me." Arohi bit her lower lip as she said that, thinking she said a little too much.
"ok ok, relax, I know, acha tell me, what was so important? You okay?"
"Arjun, woh, I..." Arohi couldn't find words to explain what she wanted to. She looked down and kept tapping her foot.
"Arohi, what happened? If you talk like that how will I understand? Ok I know what exactly will make you comfortable. Let's go for a walk"
"No, I want to stay here and talk."
Arohi thinking: *Okay, Arohi, it's now or never! You have to tell him about your feelings*
"Arjun, from past few days I have been having these different feelings and thoughts. I thought it was just an attraction, but I think it is stronger than that. I won't feel bad if you say a no (Arohi in her mind thinks, okay I will feel terrible if you say NO) but I have to say this and I hope this won't affect our friendship."
"Arohi baby what are you trying to say? why would anything or anyone affect our friendship? I can never imagine to leave you or stop talking to you" Arjun ruffles through his hair, trying to figure out what she really means. He goes back to her words "I thought it was just an attraction, but I think it is stronger than that." and reads between the lines. OH SH*T!!! SHE...SHE...OH SH*T! HOW! OH GOD NO!!
"Arjun, I don't know how to say this but you are too special for me. I...I..." Arohi trails off and begins to think, how should I say it? It's so hard, how do people in movies say it? They say it so easily...
"YOU LOVE ME" Arjun says in a loud voice that sends shivers down Arohi's body. She realizes that he read between the lines. She is surprised to see such a response from him. She didn't expect him to accept this right away or even say that he loves her too but this? Why did he talk like that?
Arohi's eyes well up but she controls her tears and speaks "Arjun...I can't stop myself, it's not something I had planned, it just happened, and I don't expect you to say the same thing to me, I just had to say this before I went mad thinking of it so much. You don't have to feel guilty or anything, we can still be friends.
Arjun begins to leave "I can't stay here right now Arohi, I have to go, I am sorry. I will...I gotta go" He couldn't come to terms with the fact that his best friend was about to say I love you to him.
Arjun drives off to Salil's house, his best friend, his brother. He knows that he can talk to Salil about anything and he will make him cool down too.
Arohi is shocked to his behavior and breaks down. She blames herself for ruining his mood and for ruining their friendship.
"Why did I have to speak up? Why couldn't I just let things be the way they were, I was leaving in few days anyway. I would talk to him on the phone and most likely I too would forget about these feelings, why did I have to bring this up?"
She wipes her tears and heads home before her grandparents find out that she's not in her room.

At Salil's place.
Arjun tells him about everything that has been happening from few days and then about today's incident at the garage.
"Arjun, relax. and tell me why did you leave her like that? and why did you react like that?"
"toh aur kaise react karta? that was so sudden, I thought she was acting like that because she was leaving, but instead she was about to say she loves me"
"Arjun yaar I didn't tell you about this before, but all of us think that you and Arohi love each other. At the sleepover her friends made her realize but I never told you because I know you would get angry. She had just brushed it off as teasing but she did realize on her own later that she loves you. mujhe laga tu samajdaar hai khud samaj jaayega jab ussein baat nahin karega. Do you really think that what you both have is just friendship? you don't act like that with anybody but her. You were miserable for 5 days because she was ignoring you. You got so angry when she ignored all your calls and messages tonight. You think a best friend behaves like that?"
"Arjun tu aaram se aur thandein dimaag se soch iske baarein main"
Arjun goes home and takes a hot shower. He has flashes of everything that happened, and what she was about to say. He sees how his loud voice had scared her and she was about to cry. He begins to curse himself for hurting her with his sharp words. "What have I done?? I shouldn't have spoken to her like that"
he comes out of the shower and calls Arohi.
Arohi is in her room crying and when she sees that Arjun is calling her she cuts the call and turns off her phone. After sometime she falls asleep with tears still rolling on her soft cheeks.
In the morning, Arohi looks at her face, her bloodshot red swollen eyes. She thinks of all that happened last night and begins crying again. Her daadi knocks on the bathroom door thinking what's taking her so long to brush her teeth.
"Arohi beta, tu theek toh hain na? itani der kyun lag rahin hain? jaldi aa nashta tayaar hai"
"Jee daadi, main theek hoon, bas do minute main bahar aa rahin hoon" she said controlling her tears.
*enough of crying, I am leaving in 2 days and he will forget soon that I even existed. I will spend time with daada daadi today and then go to meet my friends in the evening to bid them good bye. My flights in the morning, I will be gone and he won't have to see me again.* arohi thinks to herself and quickly gets ready and heads to eat breakfast.

It's 6pm and Arohi is getting ready to go meet her friends. She thinks about how she'll dodge Arjun if she sees him. She doesn't even want to see his face though. She calls up Shefali and tells her to call everyone and tell them to meet at her house tonight. If she knows Arjun, she knows that he won't come even if Shefali calls. He probably doesn't even want to see her face. So she decided not to tell Shefali not to call Arjun, or else she would begin thinking what happened between these two.
It's 9:45pm and everyone had finally left to go to their respective home as it was getting late and their families were waiting for them to come home. She gives everyone a hug and they all have an emotional moment as they all say good bye to Arohi. Her flight was at 6am and her friends wouldn't be able to meet her at 4am so she bid adieu to them one last time and promised to keep in touch with everyone.
She was alone at home after. Her grandparents had gone off to their friends house leaving the kids alone. She was done packing, and since she had nothing to do, she decides to watch a movie. Arohi goes to look for DVDs in the living room and the door bell rings.
Arohi goes to answer the door and sees Arjun standing there. She is shocked to see him at her house, but decides to call him inside before anybody saw him outside.
"What are you doing here?" she asked in a plain tone.
"Arohi, I wanted to say sorry to you for behaving the way I did" "I don't know why I behaved that way but I am really sorry for hurting you. I didn't mean to use such harsh words, but it all came as a surprise and I was already sad that you were leaving soon."
"It's okay, I understand"
"Arohi, I know you are just saying that to be nice. I am really sorry and I don't know how I could even think of hurting you. You know after I left you, I went to Salil's house and he made me understand everything. I guess I too have been running away from my feelings. I mean, I had liked you when you came, but I thought it was just another one of those likings, so I just never gave it a thought." he waited to see her reaction and then continued...
"I don't want to loose you ever. I know that if I say let's just be friends, I will be lying to myself and to you. Moreover we would never be the same again. It hurts to even think that you will not be a part of my life."
"Arjun..." - she is stopped by Arjun before she could complete what she wanted to say.
"No, let me speak. I love you Arohi, and I say this because for me you are my everything. I don't want to live a single day without you. I wasn't able to live 5 days without talking to you, and I don't know how I'll live without you after you go tomorrow morning, but I promise to always take care of you, and love you."
Arohi jumps onto Arjun and gives him a hug. "I love you too Arjun, and I am really sorry if I was rude to you, and hurt you all these days. I just didn't understand my feelings that well, and when I did, I couldn't come in front of you, but last night I just had to." "I love you Arjun, I will always promise to love you"
Arjun pulls out of the hug and holds her face. He caresses her cheeks and slowly, kisses Arohi on her lips and promises to always love her.

Arjun begins to leave "I can't stay here right now Arohi, I have to go, I am sorry. I will...I gotta go" He couldn't come to terms with the fact that his best friend was about to say I love you to him.
Arjun drives off to Salil's house, his best friend, his brother. He knows that he can talk to Salil about anything and he will make him cool down too.
Arohi is shocked to his behavior and breaks down. She blames herself for ruining his mood and for ruining their friendship.
"Why did I have to speak up? Why couldn't I just let things be the way they were, I was leaving in few days anyway. I would talk to him on the phone and most likely I too would forget about these feelings, why did I have to bring this up?"
She wipes her tears and heads home before her grandparents find out that she's not in her room.

At Salil's place.
Arjun tells him about everything that has been happening from few days and then about today's incident at the garage.
"Arjun, relax. and tell me why did you leave her like that? and why did you react like that?"
"toh aur kaise react karta? that was so sudden, I thought she was acting like that because she was leaving, but instead she was about to say she loves me"
"Arjun yaar I didn't tell you about this before, but all of us think that you and Arohi love each other. At the sleepover her friends made her realize but I never told you because I know you would get angry. She had just brushed it off as teasing but she did realize on her own later that she loves you. mujhe laga tu samajdaar hai khud samaj jaayega jab ussein baat nahin karega. Do you really think that what you both have is just friendship? you don't act like that with anybody but her. You were miserable for 5 days because she was ignoring you. You got so angry when she ignored all your calls and messages tonight. You think a best friend behaves like that?"
"Arjun tu aaram se aur thandein dimaag se soch iske baarein main"
Arjun goes home and takes a hot shower. He has flashes of everything that happened, and what she was about to say. He sees how his loud voice had scared her and she was about to cry. He begins to curse himself for hurting her with his sharp words. "What have I done?? I shouldn't have spoken to her like that"
he comes out of the shower and calls Arohi.
Arohi is in her room crying and when she sees that Arjun is calling her she cuts the call and turns off her phone. After sometime she falls asleep with tears still rolling on her soft cheeks.
In the morning, Arohi looks at her face, her bloodshot red swollen eyes. She thinks of all that happened last night and begins crying again. Her daadi knocks on the bathroom door thinking what's taking her so long to brush her teeth.
"Arohi beta, tu theek toh hain na? itani der kyun lag rahin hain? jaldi aa nashta tayaar hai"
"Jee daadi, main theek hoon, bas do minute main bahar aa rahin hoon" she said controlling her tears.
*enough of crying, I am leaving in 2 days and he will forget soon that I even existed. I will spend time with daada daadi today and then go to meet my friends in the evening to bid them good bye. My flights in the morning, I will be gone and he won't have to see me again.* arohi thinks to herself and quickly gets ready and heads to eat breakfast.

It's 6pm and Arohi is getting ready to go meet her friends. She thinks about how she'll dodge Arjun if she sees him. She doesn't even want to see his face though. She calls up Shefali and tells her to call everyone and tell them to meet at her house tonight. If she knows Arjun, she knows that he won't come even if Shefali calls. He probably doesn't even want to see her face. So she decided not to tell Shefali not to call Arjun, or else she would begin thinking what happened between these two.
It's 9:45pm and everyone had finally left to go to their respective home as it was getting late and their families were waiting for them to come home. She gives everyone a hug and they all have an emotional moment as they all say good bye to Arohi. Her flight was at 6am and her friends wouldn't be able to meet her at 4am so she bid adieu to them one last time and promised to keep in touch with everyone.
She was alone at home after. Her grandparents had gone off to their friends house leaving the kids alone. She was done packing, and since she had nothing to do, she decides to watch a movie. Arohi goes to look for DVDs in the living room and the door bell rings.
Arohi goes to answer the door and sees Arjun standing there. She is shocked to see him at her house, but decides to call him inside before anybody saw him outside.
"What are you doing here?" she asked in a plain tone.
"Arohi, I wanted to say sorry to you for behaving the way I did" "I don't know why I behaved that way but I am really sorry for hurting you. I didn't mean to use such harsh words, but it all came as a surprise and I was already sad that you were leaving soon."
"It's okay, I understand"
"Arohi, I know you are just saying that to be nice. I am really sorry and I don't know how I could even think of hurting you. You know after I left you, I went to Salil's house and he made me understand everything. I guess I too have been running away from my feelings. I mean, I had liked you when you came, but I thought it was just another one of those likings, so I just never gave it a thought." he waited to see her reaction and then continued...
"I don't want to loose you ever. I know that if I say let's just be friends, I will be lying to myself and to you. Moreover we would never be the same again. It hurts to even think that you will not be a part of my life."
"Arjun..." - she is stopped by Arjun before she could complete what she wanted to say.
"No, let me speak. I love you Arohi, and I say this because for me you are my everything. I don't want to live a single day without you. I wasn't able to live 5 days without talking to you, and I don't know how I'll live without you after you go tomorrow morning, but I promise to always take care of you, and love you."
Arohi jumps onto Arjun and gives him a hug. "I love you too Arjun, and I am really sorry if I was rude to you, and hurt you all these days. I just didn't understand my feelings that well, and when I did, I couldn't come in front of you, but last night I just had to." "I love you Arjun, I will always promise to love you"
Arjun pulls out of the hug and holds her face. He caresses her cheeks and slowly, kisses Arohi on her lips and promises to always love her.
