Hi everyone here is the update for the FF...first of all thank you all very much for liking and appreciating my work it makes me very happy...😊😊😊

One last thing before you go on...the text i write like this in bold italics represents the conversations between charecters

THE FAREWELL:

This was one of the most awaited days of arjun and rashis life...rashi had finished her 12^th boards and they were going to Mumbai today...how much arjun had waited for this day but his wait hadn't ended even today he was still waiting but this time he wasn't waiting for this day but for his dear sister rashi who as always was late...arjun was not very patient but rashi was an exception to such thing...'his love for her blinded him to all her flaws...finally rashi came home running...

"Sorry bhai...we are leaving na so antara and sur decided to give me a farewell...god those girls toh weren't leaving me only...crazy I tell u...then I had to buy somethings I had forgotten...and you know how its with girls...and shopping na pata bhi nahi chala itni late kab ho gayi"

arjun started feeling guilty again

"listen rashi...I m really not liking the idea of you leaving your entire life, friends and everything that you are so used to here just so that you can accompany me on my journey to my dream...you know you could always stay back with antara and sur I mean you girls are practically like sisters they would like it too or maybe if that's not ok even I could stay back'"

rashi was irked by the stupid suggestions of her brother...like there was any way they could live without each other neither could he be in peace if he didn't fulfill his dream...she didn't like this selflessness of her brother when it came to her...there wasn't nothing that he wouldn't or couldn't do for her happiness...they had had this argument too many times already

'"bhai we have already talked about this na...neither are you nor am I staying back we both are going to Mumbai so that my bro can fulfill his dream...and as far as leaving my life is concerned u r my life and m taking you with me that's all I'll ever need...and antara and sur understand that as well...that staying back isn't an option theres no me without you"

that made him quite for now...she quickly dragged him out of the house with the luggage and he locked the door of the house where they had grown up and where they could still feel the presence of their parents...

"I will really miss this house"

Saying this a silent tear rolled down arjuns cheek...rashi felt the same but she didn't voice her opinion fearing that it might increase arjuns guilt...they were already late because of her...they reached the station and rashi saw antara and sur waiting for them...the girls again said their good byes and farewell and with teary eyes, I love yous and promises to keep in touch rashi boarded the train with arjun...and the train finally started towards Mumbai...

AN OLD MEMORY A NEW PROMISE:

Arjun and rashi were going to be received in Mumbai by their chachu'thinking about him arjuns lips always curved up into a smile'chachu was among the very few decent members of their family about the others the less spoken the better...he was their official guardian and after their parents passed away he was literally their guardian angel'arjun still remembered that disastrous night like it was just yesterday'the night their parents passed away' though it was 8 years even the thought hurt him like he was being stabbed with a knife'but if he was thinking about chachu remembering that night was inevitable cause that was the night he had entered their life'that was the night arjun and rashi had stepped into a new life'the life of orphans'so many feelings in their tiny brains'they were scared, confused, disoriented but the biggest of all was the feelings was the pain of loosing their pain of loosing their parents'it was at that moment chachu had stepped into their life'showing them light of hope in their darkest hour'he had left everything and took the first plane to delhi as soon as he heard the news'arjun was neither listening to anyone nor talking to them he was disgusted by the money mindedness of his relatives he would have treated chachu the same way if he didn't have the letter from arjuns parents which they had given to his chachu to give to arjun if anything happened to them'the letter which was his parents last memory, last words to arjun and rashi'he still had it though even if he didn't it wouldn't matter much cause by now he had already got the whole letter by hearted with the aphostrophees and the commas as well'that was the letter that always made him feel that his parents are with him and love him'that was the letter that gave him hope and courage to fight lifes battles'he always carried the letter with him in his wallet'and whenever he was anxious or nervous he would read it and feel comforted and relieved like he had just talked to his parents'today was the big day in a few hours time he would step into Mumbai'he was very nervous so he opened the letter and started reading it'

Dear arjun and rashi,

You both are the bestest gifts that we got from god and we will thank him till the last second of our lives for giving us you both'you changed our lives completely and made us better human beings'with you we lived our childhood again'you gave us a purpose to live for'brightened our life with your pranks and antiques'though sometimes we were left fuming at them now that we think of it our eyes tear up while laughing'we love you both more than anything else in the whole world'

We really wish you never have to read this letter but if you are then it means we are no more'We know it will be very tough in the beginning but facing difficulties and overcoming them is what makes you strong and in this life good people are always tested and if you pass this test and prove worth it life will gift you with something that will be worth all the pain'a happiness which will make you forget all the pain'We know that in the circumstances in which you will receive and read this letter the above lines will be very hard to believe'but we have seen life and all our experiences tell the same thing'just don't ever lose hope'always be optimistic always believe in yourself and the god above'always remember believing is the first step to achieving'believe in yourself, believe in the power of your dreams, believe in your future and happiness but galti se bhi ankh band kark kisipe believe mat karna'ESPECIALLY OUR FAMILY'

You both are still very small arjun so we have kept you as far away as possible from all the politics, problems and greed of our relatives'but now you need to know to protect yourselves'arjun your dad's father was a really great man he was loved and respected by everyone who knew him'sadly his charecters and qualities didn't pass on to his children except your father and his brother'your dadi, two aunts and their husbands are very sweet to you and you might find it hard to believe but its all a facade'just for your fathers money'it never ceases to amaze me how these people who didn't even turn and look at us when your father had nothing now want to be a part of our lives just in greed of being mentioned in his will and having his money'if anything ever happens to us DON'T ever believe them whatever they might say'

Your chachu on the other hand is a completely different story'he was there by your father when your father fell in love with me'supported our relation before your grandpa'he was a very intellectual and great man your grandfather'he gave your dad only one option'he told yor father'"if you love this girl then prove to me your love as well as yourself'if you succeed in life without my name and my support and this girl supports you through it all even though you have nothing'I will accept you and your love and welcome her in our family with open arms" '"I promise dad you will be proud of me'mein apko shikayat ka mauka nahi dunga" Your dad left your grandfathers house after this conversation'Tumhare dad ne din raat ek kar diye so that wo kuch ban paye'he would not accept any help from anyone'but me and your chachu were always there for his moral support'a silly man your father is'you know what he took your grandfathers words quite literally he left house waha tak to thik but he changed his surname from punj to singhania'hehe tumhare grandpa ne bola jo tha ke mera naam mat use karna'imagine you could have been arjun punj and rashi punj'ever wondered why everyone else of our family has a different surname than ours'this is ur answer'finally after a year your father proved himself'your grandfather was elated'he got us married the very next day'it was like a dream come true'

Till your grandfather was alive but after he died Mumbai started seeming like a nightmare and so we shifted to delhi'u weren't even born at that time'your aunts took over all the fortune and the house in Mumbai but we weren't bothered'we only wanted to treasure your grandfathers memories the money we didn't care about it can be earned again its not something worth wasting your life and energy over'and a few weeks later your chachu left us and went abroad to complete his studies and setteled there itself'that's why you haven't seen much of him'he found your chachi there and with our blessings they got married'their son rahul is a adorable little kid'hes almost rashis age'

Arjun now listen to us very carefully'we are appointing your chacha and chachi as your guardian'after us you are not to trust anyone from our family except them'arjun after us you will be everything to rashi'forget all your fights and disagreements'remember that she is ur little sister we always raised her as our princess'use kabhi humari kami mehsoos mat hone dena'give her love from our side as well'always take care of her'shes very innocent don't let her get hurt'

p.s hope all your dreams come true'I m sure you both will make us proud'but whatever you do in life if you achieve something by hurting someone it will never be worth it'wherever you are whatever you do always remember we have always and will always love you'

Arjun was so lost in the letter that he didn't even realize that they had almost reached Mumbai'he folded the letter and kept it back in his wallet'he picked up their luggage and finally they rached the city of dreams where his dream would be fulfilled'arjun knew what he wanted and he was ready to put in all his efforts to fulfill his dream but one thing he always kept in mind his parents words that if you achieve something by hurting some one it will never be worth it'so before putting his first step in Mumbai he made a promise to himself that whatever it takes to fulfill his dream he would do it but for becoming an actor he will never forget being human'he will always be a human first and an actor later'with this promise he kept foot in Mumbai and his eyes started searching for chachu'
