Hi everyone here is the update for the FF...first of all thank you all very much for liking and appreciating my work it made me very happy...😊😊😊and i want to apologise in advance cause maybe the next update might take a little time...cause m not sure what will happen next...will pm you when i update...

THE FIRST CONVERSATION:

Arjun was always surprised by the amount of love and care they got from chachu'he still remembered how chachu had taken care of them after their parents death'he had sacrificed 4 years of his life for them'away from his family and business'arjun couldn't imagine how tough it must have been for chachu to be away from them and operate his business from india but during those years arjun and rashi were his top priority he was always there with them'protected them from all the evil around them, In a way he filled the void created by the loss of their parents'arjun always held him in high respect for that'someday arjun thought he would definitely repay chachu for everything he had done for them'finally after 4 years arjun was independent enough to take care of him and rashi and he relieved chachu of his guardian duty'money wasn't much of a problem their parents had left them a hefty amount and then arjun did part time work also cause he wanted to be independent and be able to take care of his sister even if the money of their parents wasn't there'chachu finally left for us after arjuns 18^th birthday'but he was always in touch with them'any problem and chachu was just a phone call away'his love for them was undeniable'he knew now he didn't need to take care of them like they were small kids but that didn't stop him from taking care of them'like even today chachu had gone too far'hehad come down all the way from us before arjun and rashi just so that he could receive them both at the station and had told arjun firmly this time he wasn't going back till they both got settled in Mumbai'he would have come down to delhi itself to accompany rashi and arjun on the journey if not for arjuns need for independence'arjun had even told chachu not to come down to Mumbai to begin with that they would be able to take care of themselves but when did chachu ever listen to them? he always did what he decided'

Finally arjun spotted chachu and they together went to hotel Kingston where they would stay till arjun found a house'which was very much a urgent and immediate necessity for two reasons'first arjun didn't want chachu to take more pains than he already had for them and so they needed a house to get settled in so that chachu could go back to his life'and secondly chachu had told them if they weren't able to find a house they could always live in their grandfathers punj house afterall it was theirs as well'chachu had always maintained very cordial relations with the rest of the family but arjun despised them as well as the idea of having to stay with them so he had to find a house as soon as possible'so arjun and chachu started their house hunt and it went on for days without much success'

Arohi was having a bad day'a really bad one'she was in her I hate love stories mood again'god she could just sue walt disney and all the people who invented fairy tales and put in everyone's mind that every girl gets a prince charming and a happy ending'it was because of this that romance season never ended and she was forced to write a love story'and now she was stuck'she couldn't go any further'stuck even before her characters had met'why because she neither understud or believed in the concept of love at first sight'she couldn't understand how you could love a person in one look without knowing them'it would be lust if it was based on physical appearance'and since this was the most pivotal part of the story on which their love would be based on she was stuck and she was stuck very bad'if she thought once more about the next part of the story and how to write it she was sure her mind would explode'she needed a break and she needed it bad'so she got dressed up and decided to go out for lunch to her most favorite eatery hotel Kingston'

Arjun had a very tiring day with no fruitful results'he still had no success in finding a decent house in a decent location and fair rent'if it was just him he could have lived anywhere and it wouldn't be a big deal but he had rashi with him and he had to see places keeping her in mind'a locality where he could leave her alone and go for his auditions and work without having to worry about her and surprisingly that such a place very hard to find in Mumbai'finally defeated arjun came to the hotel'..chachu was out on some work'...arjun and rashi were hungry so they came down to the restaurant in the hotel to have their lunch'

Arohi went in sat at her usual place and ordered her favorite dish'she couldn't sit idle or the thoughts of the book and the continuation of the story would not let her be'so she started looking around what other people were doing'her eyes didn't look at anyone for more than a few seconds nothing interested her enough to occupy her'but while she was scanning the room for something that could hold her interest her eyes met a pair of chocolate brown eyes'eyes which had intensity and pain which was visible to her'eyes which had a story that spoke to her it was like those eyes were describing to her all they had seen and witnessed'she was lost in the dept and intensity of those chocolate brown eyes'she had to know the story behind the pain in those eyes when the person was sitting there so normally like nothing was bothering him'she got up and started walking towards arjun as if steel is attracted towards a magnet'there was some force of attraction that was pulling her towards him without her even knowing it'when she was close enough she heard his voice and it startled her and got her out of the hypnosis that his eyes had created over her mind and heart'now she could hear his conversation though she didn't like to be the peeping tom she had to know more about him'about the person who had mesmerized her to this extent'he talking to the girl sitting opposite to him'for some weird reason arohi felt jealous of that girl she wanted to be in her place having a conversation with him'"rashi I don't know what to do'I still haven't been able to find a proper place for us to live'don't want to trouble chachu more than we already have'but we cant go and stay in grandpas house with the rest of the family just so that we can relieve them'I don't know wat to do rashi'" the girl said " don't worry bhai everything will be alright'such things take some time'"and he seemed even more worried than usual " I m sorry rashi you are my kid sister and I m burdening you with my worries''" and then he went on about how he was sorry and she was his responsibility'though she had been watching them only for a few minutes the purity and love in their relation was so evident and for some weird reason arohi felt very happy when she knew that the girl rashi was his sister'she didn't understand this reaction in her'she didn't understand anything that had happened in the past 10 minutes to her'now she could understand how a girl could automatically get attracted to a person at first sight'if she arohi aluwalia who was so determined about her work and never had love on her mind could get pulled towards a person in the way she got pulled than an ordinary girl who believes in fairy tales and waited for her prince charming could definitely fall for someone in the first meet itself'afterall first impression is in most cases a very important one and the last impression as well'now she understud the concept of love at first sight'now she could go back to her book'but first she had to thank the person who helped her understand it though unknowingly'and she had to repay him for this she couldn't keep his debt on her for her life neither could she continue with her book with the guilt that she had not thanked the person who was the reason for her to be continuing it in the first place'but of the conversation she had heard of him and rashi he sounded like the independent, self respectful kinds'hell if he didn't like taking help from his family accepting it from a stranger was out of the question'she needed to think of some way'that's when it clicked her she asked the waiter to get a pen and a paper for her and wrote down,

Hi,

You don't know me'I m a writer and when I was desperately struck on my story u inspired me and helped me get over it'how I cant really explain in words'its quite embarrassing also'but the thing is u were a huge help to me and I want to return the favour and help u so that we are even and can go on with our life'I m very sorry to eaves drop on ur conversation but I heard that you were in need of a house'I m sending a card of aluwalia contructions'go there and say that arohi sent you'your problem will be solved'I really hope u accept my help

p.s I should have come and thanked you personally but that would have given you a chance to turn my help down'I don't want to take that chance'so plss oblige me and accept my help'arohi

the waiter took the note to arjun who was completely bowled over and surprised by the gesture of the unknown girl'in however way he had inspired her even he had no idea about it she could have very easily went on with her life and book and he wouldn't know the difference'but she took the pain to thank him by helping him in return'arjun generally didn't accept help from anyone but he just couldn't bring himself to turn down this girl and break her hopes'and then he thought it wouldn't be that wrong according to her he had helped her in some big way as well'so he finally decided to go aluwalia contructions and his lips involuntarily curved up into a smile while thinking about the sweetness of the girl'never had he imagined he could find such sweet people in Mumbai'and then arjun wrote on another note'

arohi was standing in her position observing arjun to see some sign of his acceptance or denial when she saw his smile which made her heart skip a beat for some unkown reason'then the waiter brought arjuns note to arohi seeing which she was elated'for some reason neither of them could throw away the notes which held their first conversation and both safely stored the notes as sweet memories of each other'after this they both had lunch and went back to their own life'

Arohi went back to her book and started writing how her characters had fallen in love at first sight and was done with it'she ended the chapter on love at first sight saying'

Love isn't a decision, it's a feeling. If we could decide who to love, then, life would be much simpler, but then less magical.....she herself was surprised how she had come up with those lines'but for now she was content that she had completed another chapter of her book'

she was very thankful to the person with those deep brown eyes named arjun who had helped her understand this part of love and romance and once she started thinking about him she was lost again in the thoughts of arjun and the story that his eyes were trying to tell'

Great story line....completely original...........flow has been well maintained & the way u have portrayed their first interaction, its so soulful , mesmerising & believable.........i can feel the way arohi must be feeling & how arjun might be feeling by getting help from a stranger😛..............i really loved it.............and now since arjun arohi have met , i really look forward to ur next update...... becoz now we will be getting their scenes..........also, the relationship bw rashi & arjun have been very delicately crafted.............i can ver much relate to this part of ur story as i am also blessed to have a big brother.....a lovely brother who has always been there for me........😛

THE PLEASANT SURPRISE:

Arjun kept on thinking about that unknown strager named arohi whom he hadn't even seen'it wasn't like arjun to not be able to get a girl out of his mind'he never really made any friends, after he lost his parents rashi and chachu were the only two people in his life'he never trusted anyone else enough to get close to them'but this girl was a whole new story he just kept thinking about her'he wanted to know more about the girl who had helped him he was very curious as to what kind of a person she was' it was very late in the night so he kept those thoughts aside and went to sleep'

Arohi had told karan all about her inspiration and how she had felt there wasn't anything she didn't share with him'she called him her answering diary'she could tell him everything she wrote in her diary with the added bonus that she would get replies and opinions on all her feelings'she told him as a thank you she had given arjun the card of aluwalia constructions and that he needed a house'arohi as always was bullying karan saying this is very important to her and that arjun should be shown the finest buildings constructed by them and should be given the best deal on the house which he selects'karan was teasing her as usual saying theres nothing in it for him and that he wouldn't do it but in his heart even he was quite impressed with the way arohi had described arjun and had decided to be super nice arjun and do as arohi asked him to do'after all anything that arohi liked he liked too'but this he would never admit before arohi or she would begin to think that she could bully anything out of him and that was a risk he wasn't willing to take'zindagi bhar arohi ki ghulami'karan shivered at the thought'though arohi was a sweetheart she was a very hard task master'

Arjun was on his way to aluwalia constructions'he had accepted arohis help so as not to break her heart but he was skeptical if her help could actually be of any use to him'that's when he reached aluwalia constructions head office and went and told his name at the reception asking if he could meet the manager or some higher authority there he didn't feel it appropriate taking arohis name at the reception before everyone'the receptionist said that if doesn't have an appointment then there was nothing she could do for him'damn arjuns intuition was too good when it came to bad things'disappointed he started heading out of the office when karan came in and saw arjun'arohis description of him was still stuck in his in mind and he recognized arjun at once'he greeted arjun cordially introduced himself and took him to his office'arjun was surprised as to how karan had recognized him'karan took arjun around the city showed him a couple of places and finally after a days work arjun had liked a house'he was doing all the official formalities to buy the house and that's when karan got away from arjun to call arohi and inform her that arjun was with him and was buying one of their houses'arohi was so excited to hear that arjun had really come and her help was useful to him she told karan to treat him well and help in whatever way he needs help with cause by the look of it she had come to the conclusion that he was new to Mumbai'

Arjun was on top of the world now he was indebted to the girl'her sweet gesture was and thank you was more than enough for whatever inspiration he had given her'but now cause of her help he had gotten a house'now chachu could go back to his family and arjun could start focusing on his dream he was infinitely grateful to her and wanted to thank her in person but he didn't know how to contact her'he thought maybe karan knows her cause that's the only way he could have known about me and she had told me to take her name here maybe it wont trouble her if I ask about her to karan'I need to thank her and talk to her and get it over with otherwise I wont be able to think of anything else'after giving so many reasons to himself arjun finally gathered the courage and called out to karan'

"hey karan the thing is I was sent here by a girl called arohi and its cause of her help that I got this house it's a huge deal for me so I wanted to thank her in person is there any way that I could get her number or something?"

Karan didn't know what to do or say'he had seen that arjun was a good man and all he wanted to do was say thank you if karan was in arjuns position even he would have been stumped by arohis gesture and would have wanted to thank her'after all its not that people met antique charecters like his dear sister everyday'and arohi seemed to have liked him too she was so happy to hear about him'talking to him would give her more happiness'and karan could never say no to anything that made arohi happy thinking this he gave arjun arohis number'and the look on arjuns face when he got the number was priceless as if he had conquered mount everest or found the eigth wonder of the world'

Arjun quickly went to the hotel to give rashi and chachu the good news in person'he and rashi packed up his luggage and shifted to their new house'then arjun went to drop chachu off at the air port and after his flight had taken off he decided it was time to talk to arohi'he thought messaging her first would be better'giving her the choice'if she wanted to talk to him then she would reply to him and then he could call her'if there was no reply he would get the hint and wouldn't bother her anymore'he had a sister and in the years he had learnt that girls always should be handled with respect and care'

Arohi was sitting casually at home having finished her work for the day when karan came in'they started talking and talked for a long while about how her book was shaping up and how his day was'arohi just wanted to know everything that had happened with arjun'karan told her everything except the main part and suddenly when he got up to freshen up he dropped a bomb on arohi'his words before leaving the room were still echoing in her mind

"oh and by the way arohi I gave arjun your number'poor old chap still stumped by ur gesture I guess wanted to say thank you to you in person hope you don't mind"

karan added that with a smirk'he was playing around with her he knew she wouldn't mind it'infact she would love it after she had come out of shock'happy with himself that he had given his sister the opportunity to talk to someone she was so eager to talk to and know more about karan left the room a satisfied and proud brother'

Arohi was pleasantly surprised'she had no idea that the actual surprise was yet to come'now she could talk to arjun one more time even she didn't understand why that meant so much to her it was just another person who wanted to thank her'maybe the conversation would be over even before it starts'this thought saddened her'even before she could think straight her phone beeped and brought her out of her trance'she went to it to see that there was a message from an unkwown number she generally didn't get those as there were only a few trusted people who knew her number'so her mind went to the most logical conclusion that it was arjun'that thought and that name made her heart beat at double rate than usual'she started reading the message'

"hey arohi this is arjun'I don't know if u remember me but we met at hotel Kingston'listen I was wondering if I could talk to you once so if you are upto it gimme a reply and I'll call you if not than I wont bother you after this"

If arohis heart was beating at double speed at the thought of arjun after reading his message it just stopped for a second'she was so impressed by him being a complete gentleman and giving her a choice to decide if she wanted to talk to him or no'well she was very eager to talk him in the first place and on top of that the way he had asked and put it there was no way she could deny him'she put a harness on her hearts speed and replied

"Its okay'I don't have any problem in you calling me'on the contrary I would like it"

Always speaking her mind was another one of arohis special qualities'when arjun saw arohis reply the feeling he felt was as if he was drowning, there was no hope and suddenly a help boat came and rescued him'he controlled his happiness and called her

"hi" said arjun happily

"hi" came the reply from arohi in an equally happy tone

"I really hope am not bothering you" asked arjun just to be sure'bothering her was the last thing he would ever want to do

arohi wanted to change the topic it was making her slightly angry now'there was no way that he was bothering her'if anything he was making her happy "no I told you na its not a big deal'so you wanted to talk about something?"

"I wanted to thank you'the card you gave helped me big time'I got the house'solved so many of my problems in one go'" arjun informed arohi happily

thinking how he had helped her and her thoughts started going back to those sad chocolate brown eyes but she composed herself and replied "its ok'you helped me in a big way as well"

Arjun didn't agree with her'she was not giving herself enough credit and giving him way too much according to him "no arohi its not ok'whatever inspiration I had given to you still you were the one to grasp it and understand it nothing much to do with me'could have been anyone'but the help you did to me was all you'I don't think anyone else in your place would have acted the same way"

arohi teasingly with a fake shyness in her voice said "now stop it see m already blushing"

arjun asked nervously "arohi you've been really great to me'thanking you on the phone doesn't seem enough to me'can I ask you of a favour? I would like to treat you to lunch as a thank you and also as a celebration for me getting the house'could you please accept my request and honor me?" and waited for her reply as a student awaits his exam results

arohi thought better to keep her reply as short as possible cause she was afraid that if spoke for too long she would scream out of happiness'this wasn't their last conversation she would meet him tomorrow'and tomorrow she really could be the one sitting before him, talking to him and knowing more about him'with this satisfaction she replied "okay"

arjun was feeling a little bad that he couldn't go and pick her up personally but neither did he know her house nor did he have a vehicle so there was nothing he could do about it'he was feeling bad enough already for asking her number from a stranger and now he didn't want to trouble her by asking any other personal information as her address'the guilt and bad feeling was overpowering him when he saw the time'it was 12 in the night"I think its getting late we'll talk tomorow'lets meet at 12 in hotel Kingston? "

"it's a date" said arohi happily

"gud nyt arohi"

"gud nyt arjun"

And hence both of them went to bed very happy by the surprising turn of events of the day'neither of them thought that it would turn out so beautiful'neither of them knew that it was only the start to their beautiful jorney of love'a love that would fill their life with immense happiness and change their lives forever'in some way or the other both had touched each others lives and hearts in an undeniable way
