Next day Arjun goes to meet his father in jail. Arjun is welcomed by Kartar and Rajveer also there. Arjun says "can i please meet my father". Kartar calls constable and says take Arjun to meet RPS. Rajveer comments "what family, father gives supari and son acts as if he is saving the victim". Arjun stares at him but does not comment. Kartar says Rajveer to keep quiet.
Arjun waits for constable to go and starts to speak.
But RPS cuts in between and says "believe me Arjun i did not do anything. I know none of you in family believing me right now, but".
Arjun cuts in between and says "I believe you dad, I know you cannot trap your own children especially Romit to achieve your ends. And i know you will never hurt Arohi because you love me and you know that hurting Arohi will hurt me badly".
RPS says "Thank GOD Arjun, i spent sleepless night yesterday thinking you all will never trust me, but i am so happy today. But i am really worried for Romit, he is a kid. I always wanted to keep all of you away from this crime world but somehow you and Michael got sucked into this" and pauses
Arjun says "Dad you never forced me to come into this business, i came because i wanted to help you. And i remember when i loved Arohi you left me to go away from this crime world right".
RPS says "Yeah but that time i was confident you would return back to us. My enemity with Alhuwaliah's forced me to take this bad path so that i become as powerful and rich and society respects me. But now it is threatening future of my children. I never thought about that" and goes into deep thought
Arjun says Dad and touches his hands on jail rod to cut his thoughts.
RPS says "How is your fracture Arjun?" RPS continues "Take care of yourself. And do not strain yourself a lot on business affairs as you have just come from hospital. Leave that to Jignesh and Michael. You just guide them as they are not clever and quick thinking like you. And do not worry about me being in the police custody. Kartar cannot prove anything against me or Romit."
He looks at Arjun's pensive mood and tries to change topic and asks "how is Rashi? Hope she is not taking all this seriously and dying of worry. Arjun hesitates and then tells about Rashi. RPS shoulders drop and he no longer can stand on his legs. He feels his entire world collapsing Rashi in hospital again and doctors have said no guarantee of recovery for months/years.
Arjun supports him and keeps saying "dad, dad, dad please control yourself dad, dad. Are you listening dad".
Arjun says "Dad, please control yourself dad. If you break down who will take care of our house, Rashi, Romit, mom, michael and me, dad, dad".
RPS sees Arjun's eyes which are scared for his father and thinks "I must not show my vulnerability in front of Arjun and make him weak" and somehow controls himself and smiles and says " I am fine Arjun, do not worry. I am fine".
Then changes conversation " Hey that day in hospital when i came to visit you forgot one more incident our forest camping. Do you remember that? I guess we must all go camping once me, Romit and Rashi returns home. What do you say?". Arjun nods.
RPS continues "But lets not take your mom along else she will be like Rudra i want AC, Michael i am missing my kitty parties,Rashi why did you not get my facial along, Jignesh get me my diet biscuits, Arjun i cannot walk in this rocky place why cannot you get a vehicle that goes on rocky terrain and that when trying to climb rocky terrains with high heels, " and starts laughing.
Arjun smiles but thinks "I know dad, you are just trying to show everything is normal although you are in jail and are upset about Rashi so that i do not get upset".
