hey guys its me jaz again..😀.before i put up what i wanted to...just a quick rant...im totally not digging the new IF format...its too confusing at first...and too complicated...you have to go through so many things before you get to the forum...first star plus, then click the show, then click discuss and finally...you are here...uff AngryAngryAngryAngryb4 it was just one click and you were there

ok bohot hogaya bak bak...here is something that i put together after last weeks Ullu insulting Heer scene...prem did say 'bauji' rather well..😆😆😆😆...but i felt like he should have said more and shut that budha up!...so here is my spin on everything...just like a ff...only its a short story...one time deal...i think😉😉😉😉....pls comment to let me know what you think 🥰

One more note: this part is dedicated to my Payu and my jaanu Guli...who helped me edit...love ya babe! and to zindagi001...best vid maker 😉

*I start off where Lallu the Ullu is about to leave and Heer stops him. Only difference in here is that as he is about to leave, Gayatri walks in - so both Prem's parents are there*

*I start off where Lallu the Ullu is about to leave and Heer stops him. Only difference in here is that as he is about to leave, Gayatri walks in – so both Prem's parents are there*

"Bauji…humari baath suniyeh Bauji…please."

Prem was shell shocked to see that Heer was literally at the feet of his father. He couldn't believe what his eyes were seeing. What was she doing? Why was she doing it? So many questions and thoughts rushed into his mind as he watched, almost like a statue, the scene unfold in front of his eyes.

"Khabardar…khabardar joh tune mujhe 'Bauji' bulaya toh," Lalit said. "Kis haq se…kis rishte se tune mujhe 'Bauji' kaha?"

"Main jaanti hoon aap mujhse bohot nafrat karte hai," Heer said with her hands held together in front of her. "Lekin…lekin mere liyeh naa sahi aapne bete ke liyeh ruk jaiyeh. Please Bauji…please."

Prem stood in his spot completely awe struck; Heer was pleading to his father on his behalf because he didn't have the courage to do so himself. Prem's thoughts focused on Heer in the next passing moments. He watched his father walk up to him and even heard the sounds of him talking, but nothing processed in his brain. The only thought on Prem's mind was that after what he had done with Heer that night, she was still his biggest defender. Heer had opened her heart to him on the roof, she hand taken the plunge and asked him to marry him and what did he say…No!

He knew that if he married Heer he had nothing to offer her, he was broke and broken. He had barely managed to pay for their home after he had walked out with Heer and Meher. He couldn't even afford a new suit for himself to go to the awards function. It had been Heer who had taken a job, gotten an advance and purchased a suit for him; a fact that was unknown to him until only 20 minutes ago.

In his mind he knew why he had said 'no' to Heer's proposal, his reasons were valid. However, in his heart, he couldn't make sense of how he turned down the love, faith and trust of the one woman who meant the world to him. How could he do something like that? Now, after seeing Heer go to bat for him, even after everything that had transpired between them, his heart knew he had made a mistake…even his mind was slowly coming to the same conclusion.

Prem was brought back to reality when he heard his father's voice question Heer.

"Kya rishta hai tera iske saath? Kya lagti hai tu iski?"

Prem felt like a dagger had been shoved into his heart by his father's questions. The questions raised the validity of their relationship; questions that Heer was ready to have answers for; questions that now remained unanswered all because he had said 'No'.

"Uska rishte daar hai, uska parivaar hai, uski paatni hai? Yah phir…uska najayaz rishta? Jisse duniyawale…sharam aati hai mujhe woh shabd nikalte hue bhi kyun ki…yahaan mere betiyaan khade hai. Kya bulaoon tujhe? Bol! Kya bulaoon tujhe?"

"Yeh aap kya keh rahe hai?" Gayarti asked in horror at her husbands words.

"Tum beech mein maat aao!" Lalit ordered.

A sudden rush of anger roared through Prem's veins. Prem didn't know how to deal with this anger because never in his life had he felt so angry, furious or defensive. The only thought in his mind was how dare anyone raise such disgusting questions about Heer, let alone his own father. Had it been anyone else standing there in his fathers place, they would have been torn in two and lying on the floor. Prem was so heated and he couldn't think straight. Before he knew what he was doing, he heard the sound of his own ringing voice in his ears.

"Bauji…" Prem said, his voice was raspy and in a whisper, but it held a threat and possessiveness he didn't know he had.

"Chup…" his father said as he turned around and looked right at him, "…ek sahbd bhi nahin bolega tu!"

Lalit had given Prem an order and when Lalit Jhuneja gave an order, you carried that order out regardless of anything else. Prem was still his father's son so far be it from him to break the rules, right? Wrong…

"Nahin Bauji…aaj main chup nahin rahunga," Prem said.

There was a sudden pin drop silence, not one person in the room moved or even breathed. Prem's entire family looked on in disbelief because for the first time in his life, Prem talked back to his father. Even Prem was shocked by his behavior; his mind knew that he should never disrespect his father like that but at this moment he was not speaking with his mind, he was speaking with his heart. At that moment he was not Prem Jhuneja, Lalit Jhuneja's son; he was Prem, only Prem…Heer's Prem…and Heer's Prem was not going to let anyone raise questions about her pristine character.

"Kya?" Lalit asked, "Kya kaha tune?" even Lalit was not sure he was hearing right…after all, old age was upon him.

"Aaj main chup nahin rahunga Bauji," Prem repeated.

"Aaj tu ek doh kaudi ke ladki ke liyeh aapne baap se zabaan chalayega? Iss besharam ke liyeh tu…" Lalit said but was unable to finish his sentence.

"Baas Bauji…baas!" yelled Prem, startling everyone.

Enough was enough; Prem was not going to take it anymore. Prem was so angry, he wanted to do nothing but kill someone. He had never been so infuriated in his life. Even when Daljeet had humiliated and slapped Heer at the mandap of Ashlesha and his wedding, he didn't feel like this. That time he had stood up for her because she was being faulted for something she was not responsible for. Today…today his father was questioning the purity and innocence of Heer…his Heer…enough was enough!

"Maaf kijiyeh ga Bauji lekin aapne mere paas aur koi rasta nahin choda," Prem clarified. "Itne din main chup issiliyeh tha kyun ke main jaanta tha ke kahin naa kahin, main ghalat hoon. Heer se pyaar maine kiya tha, uski aur Manmeet ki shaadi naa ho…uska dava bhi maine lagaya tha, Heer ka koi dosh nahin tha. Uss ghaar ko chodkar aane ka faisla bhi mera tha…Heer ne toh sift mera saath diya tha."

Prem watched his father send a momentary glance towards Heer; a glance that was filled with confusion for just a split second.

"Aap ko mujhse joh bhi kehna hai…aap keh sakte hai, main aapko rokunga nahin. Aap mujhe galiyaan dehna chate hai…toh dijiyeh; aap mujeh kosna chate hai…toh kosiyeh; aap mujhe baddua dehna chate hai…toh dijiyeh……main kuch nahin kahunga. Saab kuch chup chap she lunga," Prem said with his eyes down cast and shameful. "Lekin aap Heer ke khilaf kuch nahin kahenge…kyun ke woh main bardasht nahin karunga."

Prem fell silent, thinking that he had already said enough to his father. Since Prem's eyes were downcast he didn't see Lalit walk over to where Heer stood and stop right in front of her.

"Dekha…" he began to say, which caught Prem's attention. "Aaj…teri vaje se mera beta…mera Prem…naa toh sirf mujhse door hai, lekin mujhse aaise baath kaar raha hai. Paata nahin kya kiya hai tune…tujh jaise aurat pe kya bharosa. Tujhe kya laga ke tu Prem Jhuneja ko phasa legi. Akhir mard hai naa woh…joh aurat paise ke liyeh aapne sharir bech sakti hai woh toh…" Lalit couldn't finish his sentence again.

"Baas!" Prem roared, this time his voice held a lethal component that told everyone…Prem wasn't going to let his father go on and not saying anything.

Heer stood on the side breaking and dying on the inside due to what was happening to her. As hard as she tried to fight her tears she couldn't stop them any more, a few escaped…a few that didn't go unnoticed by Prem.

Prem moved from where he stood for the first time since his father had arrived. Prem now stood toe to toe with a man that he didn't recognize. The man that stood in front of him couldn't be his father, because the man who was his father would never…ever…make such horrid accusations about a woman.

"Heer ke khilaf main ek aur lafs bhi nahin sunna chata…ek lafs bhi nahin," Prem warned. "Abhi tak main chup tha kyun ke aap mere Bauji hai lekin aab…aab aap bhi haad se bar gaye hai."

Lalit and everyone else looked on in horror; was this the Prem that they knew? There was a fury, a passion and a menace about him that was never there in the past.

"Maine kissi ko yeh haq nahin diya hai ke woh Heer ki beizaati kare. Usse khud woh haq nahin hai…toh phir aap kya cheez hai?" Prem said in the most toxic tone.

Heer looked up and couldn't believe that Prem was acting in such a way. She had never known Prem to be anything but lovable, friendly, thoughtful and determined…now…now Prem was deadly. She had never seen him like this; she didn't know what to make of it.

"Kya aap jaante hai ke aap kis ladki ki burayi kaar rahe hai? Aap ko paata bhi hai?" Prem asked. "Nahin paata hai aapko, lekin main batata hoon."

Prem took Heer by the hand and brought her so that she was standing right in front of Lalit. Her eyes were downcast and she was frozen on the spot; she dared not look up or move.

"Yeh ladki…yeh woh ladki hai joh mujhe rohte hue dekh kaar khud rohti hai. Yeh woh ladki hai jisne khabi mujhse kuch nahin manga hai. Yeh woh ladki hai jisne ek naukri join ki, aur advance bhi liya take awards mein pehene ke liyeh mere paas ek naya suit ho. Yeh woh ladki hai jisne mere Maa aur Bauji ki tasweer iss ghaar mein sajayi hai. Yeh woh ladki hai joh roz uss tazweer se ashriwaad mangti hai…aapne liyeh nahin, mere liyeh. Jiss ladki ke upar kisi ka haat nahin, woh yeh dua mangti hai ke mere Maa Bauji salamat rahe take unka ka haat humesha mere upar rahe."

Everyone was left speechless and stunned by all the revelations that Prem had just made; no one more so than Heer. She had no idea that Prem had seen her pray for his parents or that she had taken the job to get his suit.

"Jin rishtoon ki buniyad pyaar hota hai, jin rishtoon ki shuruwad pyaar se hota hai…un rishtoon ko koi naam ki zarurat nahin hai. Heer se mera pyaar ka rishta hai, dil ka rishta hai, dard ka rishta hai…Heer se mera janam janam ka rishta hai, joh khabi nahin tootega."

The power and meaning in those words were felt by everyone in the room, not just Prem and Heer.

"Iss duniya mein jissne bhi khabi pyaar kiya hai, woh humara rishta samaj sakte hai; jissne bhi khabi kissi ko dil diya hai, woh humara rishta samaj sakte hai. Unke liyeh humare rishte ka koi naam ki zarurat nahin hai…humara pyaar hi kafi hai."

Lalit was standing there like a statue, not knowing what to do or what to say.

"Aap jaan naa chate hai naa ke main kaun hoon Heer ka? Aapko aapka jawab abhi miljayega," Prem said.

In the blink of an eye, in a split second there lay shards of broken glass on the floor; they came from a mirror that had once decorated the small living room of the home. Prem had taken his fist and pounded on the mirror causing it to break into small pieces as they hit the floor.

"Prem!" yelled two voices; one belonged to his mother and the other to Heer.

Both women ran to his side and held his hand as the red blood began to ooze out and trickle down to the floor. Prem paid no attention to Heer or his mother as he bent down and picked up a large chunk of the shattered glass, a chunk that had a very prominent point.

"Prem yeh kya kaar raha hai, tere hatoon se khun beh raha hai!" Gayatri yelled.

"Maa…" Heer began to say and heisted for a second, "…main first aid box lekar aati hoon."

Heer turned around to leave but was stopped when she felt someone hold her hand; someone that turned out to be Prem.

"Tum kahin nahin jaogi…" he said.

"Magar…"

"Tum kahin nahin jaogi," he said again, this time in a whisper.

"Prem…tumhe choot aaya hai," Heer protested tears forming in her eyes once again.

"Tum kahin nahin jaogi…tumhe mere kasam," Prem said when he saw Heer not back down.

"Choot mujhe laga hai, lekin woh roh rahi hai. Yeh hai meri Heer Bauji, yeh hai meri Heer." Prem looked at his fathers shocked expression for a second before he continued. "Aaj main aapko bataunga ke main kaun hoon Heer ka."

Prem took the pointy, jagged edge of the glass piece and held it to his right thumb.

"Prem kya kaar rahe ho?" Heer yelled in distress.

After seeing that Prem only hesitated for a split second before beginning to drag the glass piece across his finger; Heer saw him wince in pain. Not being able to stand the sight of Prem's pain, Heer turned her face slightly to the side and closed her eyes.

A moment later Heer suddenly felt someone touching her forehead near her part; the touch was not long but it was lasting. When the touch was gone Heer opened her eyes to see Prem taking a small step back from her. Heer saw blood on Prem's thumb which looked a bit smeared.

"Hogaya naa…milgaya naa aapko aapka jawab?" Prem asked his father in a thunderous voice.

A thought occurred to Heer, a thought she couldn't completely fathom. On impulse she lifted her right hand shakily and touched her parting. Her fingers came in contact with something with an odd sensation. When she brought her hand back down she saw a red substance on her fingers; a red substance that she was sure, was Prem's blood.

"Aapko jaan naa tha naa…ke Heer ka mere saath kya rishta hai. Paatni hai woh meri…kafi hai naa aapke liye? Aab toh humare rishte ko naam milgaya hai…kush hai aap?"

Heer stood there motionless yet she felt like a storm was surging inside her mind and her heart. What had Prem just done? Did he have any idea what he has done?

"Aab koi humare rishte ke bare mein baath nahin karenga, koi ungli nahin uthayega," Prem said as he pulled Heer close to him. "Heer…tum meri jaan ho, meri zindagi ho, meri aathma ho…mera saabkuch, tum hi ho."

Gayatri stepped towards Heer and Prem before anything else could be said. The happiness in her heart knew no bounds. She put her hands on the cheeks of her children and smiled.

"Tum dono ke saath mere ashirwad hai…humesha. Koi aur tumhara saath deh, ya naa deh…main hoon tumhare saath."

"Heer…" Prem spoke again, "…main tumse itna pyaar karta hoon ke…kushi kushi tumhare liyeh aapna jaan deh dunga…"

Heer didn't let Prem go any further as she put a hand over his lips causing him to stop talking. She immediately threw herself into his arms because she needed to be held by him. The tears came to her eyes automatically, there was no fighting them. "Main bhi tumse bohot pyaar karti hoon Prem. Itna pyaar ke aagar tumhe kuch hogaya toh main marjaunga."

"Shh," Prem kissed Heer's forehead, "…aaisa khabi nahin hoga. Hum dono khabi juda nahin honge."

Prem wrapped his arms around Heer; his heart was finally at peace. So much had happened in such a short amount of time, they were still taking everything in. There was one thing that they both knew…they knew that no one could question their relationship now, they knew that they would love each other till the day they died…and they knew…that nothing and no one could separate them for all of eternity; even in death Prem would be Heer's and Heer would be Prem's. Their bodies may no longer be around, but their love transcends the material world and lives in the spiritual world; forever their souls would be joined.

Wow... I loved that. I really wish that happened. I'm speechless, I really don't know what to say. I just really loved the part, I felt my eyes get teary at Premeers love.

I could imagine each part, I could feel the anger in Prem's eyes, and the moment. i could see everything. And ohh how I love how Lalit just stayed there like a statue. I love the answer Prem gave him. You should be a creative of KDMHMD. You are seriously brilliant!

Grrr...I'm bothered that the "Thank You' button doesn't work...

Anyway, YAY, I'm glad you've FINALLY posted it.

Thank you, my dear, for the dedication - I'm honored...I really do love this...you are brilliant.

Lekin ek shikwa...Baar baar rula deti ho mujhe! 😭 You've ALWAYS been able to stir this emotion within me.

Simply put, it was Beautiful.

This is how it should have been, indeed.

I love how you said "was this the Prem they knew?" - becuase infact, they had never seen this side of him. I loved how even though obvsiouly enraged, when he spoke with his father, THE Prem shone through - out and out - mainly because he apologized first, and then, in true Prem style, har rishte ko nibhate hue, he stood up for Heer..."Humme maaf kar dijiyega Bauji...aap mujhe gali dijiye, mujhe baddua dijiye, par Heer ko kuch nahi kahenge".

Prem has come across so perfectly. You've captured every ounce of his being. You've captured all of his thoughts so very marvelously.

And of course, again, LOVE the attention to detail.

Aapki tareef jitni bhi ki jaaye, kam hai. Outstanding, Jaz!
👏

Love,
