Let me first start by saying u guys are great.👏👏 I mean this forum just rocks. Rock on!!I have always enjoyed reading ur posts though this is my first post. I love the way u analyse this serial and its characters. I have one word for you all.👏👏👏 wow!! keep up the good work guys. i hope i can join u too.
I love to hate Prem.😉 He sure is one of a kind. The past one week was one roller coaster ride for Premeer and for all of us too. Frankly when I saw the first part on thursday I was shocked, hurt, worried. What is wrong with Prem? 😡😡 Heer wanted to show support and he blatantly refused........
I then realised this is Prem. He doesn't do anything without reason. Prem, who is the pillar of strength of his family. Prem, who loves Heer to eternity.😳 Prem, who took Heer's hand and walked out of his house and away from his family because he couldn't stand to see Heer being insulted. This is Prem. And then I realised it is because of all these reasons that Prem refused when Heer tried to wipe his tears.😭😭
Prem is strong. His family depends on him. How can he let the love of his life see him so distressed and worried and sad? Prem took Heer's hand and vowed to take care of her. How can he let her see how much he needs his dad to take care of him? 😭 I think it is kinda macho of guys😡, but that is how they feel. Prem refused to look into Heer's eyes because he was worried that he might find distaste in her eyes. By turning away at that moment, he was silently conveying to Heer - This is what I am. I love u, but I love my family too. I can't take the pain anymore. I am a guy who wants the cake and eat it too. I want us to be together, but as a part of my family. I am giving you a chance. If you want to let go, I totally understand. I have already lost my family. I dont wish to lose u. But then I have nothing to give u too....... 😭😭
And Heer being Heer - stood by Prem 👏 She understood what Prem was trying to tell her. By standing beside him and being with him all the way, she silently conveyed to him - I am not going anywhere. We are in this together. You better accept it. As you said, we are one. 👏👏
Even when Heer proposed, you could see the dilemma in Prem. He was the one who held her hand and vowed to protect her. But what did he realise - Heer took up a job and bought a suit for his award ceremony. Heer took up the courage to ask his hand in marriage. Prem was so unsure of himself at that stage that he could not bear to look at the love, trust and honesty in Heer's eyes for him. He felt like a failure and here is this woman he loves looking up to him with stars in her eyes feeling sure that he would keep her safe. He tried to say her off by mentioning everything he lacks.
But what he didn't understand was that Heer wanted him, his companionship, his togetherness. Remember they haven't talked much. Prem doesnt know what Heer expects of him, what Heer would demand of him.
When Heer said Prem Let it go, Its ok, Time will Heal Everything - the look in Prem's eyes said it all. Will it?? was all it said. I am showing you how life with me would be like and you are so positive and everything will be alright. At the end when Heer pulls him out from a racing car, he realises that he is wrong. Heer wouldn't leave him like this. She would always be with him. And in the park when we see both Prem and Heer crying, we see a kind of relief in Prem. A kind of relief that he knows what to expect of Heer and that is - total understanding. 👏👏🤗
The last scene when they are walking hand in hand is so symbolic. Prem first holds her finger, then loses contact, and then holds her hand. Its as if he is saying - I love you, I am sorry for doubting you, We are one.🤗👏👏
Sorry if the post is long. Started penning my thoughts and it looks like I have written a novel. This is my take on it guys. What do u think?
