I would have liked to see Prem just once tell his dad what he was feeling for Heer before this whole fiasco started, in private.. then if Juneja started raving like the lunatic and kicked prem out fine i woudl have agreed with you. but how can you blame juneja when he didnt know prem luved anyone else. adn the last time i checked there's only two ways to get married either an arranged marriage or a luv marriage.. 😆

Will his son be happy in a forced, loveless marriage ? Which parent who cares for their child's happiness and well-being does that ?
actually since you asking i will tell you that arrange marriages have a higher success rate then love marriage..😃
His son loved a girl with all his heart..is that a crime ? Shouldn't he realise that his child's happiness lies with that girl and not the one who he chose for him ? And which parent does " Shraddanjali " for their own child just because he chose to be with the girl he loves !! Will any parent go as far as that ?
again i have to say that if prem would have said something before the actual day of marriage would Junjea have gone off the deep end like he did?

hey herman and i do so all the time and have a blast with my kids. but all i'm saying is prem shouldnt have mislead his father.

i actually agree with u that he's just hurt, but one thing that got me thinking is that before the wedding prem told him that likes heer but he still wanted prem to marry aish. that's something i do not support. he still forced prem to marry aish. remember that rain sequence, wen there was his dad and prem.

one more thing, this was actually mentioned in one of our debate at school that parents do so much for their kids n kids should do wat their parents want them to do, like choose a career that their parents want them to etc etc and one of our teacher said she's a parent and it was her choice to have kids, and she would never want her kids to feel she has done any favour to them

its not about doing kids any favour, infact alot of parents dont do much at all for their kids, but East Indian parents go to hell and back for their kids.. so please dont compare east Indian culture with Anglo saxen culture cause its very different.. they dont support their kids like east Indian culture does..

heck its funny my white friends are always saying ohh i'm gonna die in a old age home and i'll be all alone, i'll be lucky if my kids come to my funeral...saadddd...😭

that being said i agree i wouldnt ever force my kid to do something she didnt want to do, but if she choose a path that i thought was going to hurt her, its my duty to tell her and try to stop her from getting hurt, cuase there is no greater pain for a parent then to see their child hurt and in pain.

because it was her who decided to have them. just a point di, don't get offended.

I apolgize to you if i have hurt you or anyone by my post that was never my intention, but i feel that Juneja cant take the whole 100% blame.. if he wanted Prem to marry someone, Prem agreed period. so his father thought cool!! and for those who said oh Prem hinted saying this and that, hello this is Prem's life he should have been as frank and as clear as he could have been..okay thats it for me, i personally don't care if ya'll curse juneja back to the stoneages, but i thought i'd just show you all that there si always two sides perhaps!!!! and rarely is it as clear as black and white...

aww thanks kiddo for giving me the link, i watched it and hmmm, so Juneja gave him the ultimateum huh... if i was prem i would have taken it right there and then i would never have agreed to him.. cuase when you love someone soo deeply insaan majboor hojatah hain.. but prem tried.. and well we all saw what happened, i think the old man gave his warning for the storm that would come.. so shouldnt Prem have just left there and then, cause in the end wohi to huwa that the old man said would happen..i dont know just didnt really like how the writer did that whole thing...ohh well like you said its just a matter of time when juneja finds out who heer is, then he's gonna really regret the day he said ever bad hurtful despiteful word to Prem.. just hope its not to late by then...😕
