Prem has a minor injury while returning home. He enters the chawl with faltering steps.
"Kya hua?"Heer asks.
"kuch nahin halki si chot hai."
Heer rushes forward to give him support.She puts her arm around his shoulders.
"Ah.."
Heer gives a frightened expression.
"Peeth mein chot hai kya?"
"Shayad"
Heer sits down to apply a healing ointment on his back,Prem removes his shirt.
"Wahan nahin thoda upar"
"Yahan?"
"Nahin thoda side mein"Prem repeats with a naughty smile,with Heer sitting behind him.
"Yahan?"
"Ahhhh..."
"Kya hua?"Heer asks innocently.
Prem turns around to face Heer.
"Chot peeth mein nahin payr(legs) mein hai."
He pulls Heer close 2 himself and kisses her on the forehead.Heer blushes slightly.Meher calls out from the kitchen and Heer leaves.
There is no electricity in the chawl.Meher,Heer and Prem r sitting down having dinner in candlelight.
"Main aur di neeche so jayenge,aap upar so jayeiga."Meher tells Prem.
"aapko koi dikkat to nahin hogi?"she asks.
"Nahin"Prem replies with a gentle smile.
Heer and Meher are making their bed,while Prem goes to the terrace.
"Ahh...ooo"he cries out.
"Kya hua?"Meher asks aloud.
In a moment they c prem stepping down the stairs.
"Woh andhere mein phisal gaya."
"Phir se chot aa gayi kya?"
"Haan" he replies looking at Heer.
"Main apke liye haldi ka doodh bana ke laati hoon."Meher goes into the kitchen.
Heer is standing with a candle.Prem walks towards her.
"Yeh chot tumhare haathon se hi theek hogi" he whispers.Heer gives a shy smile.
"Chaand ke noor ke saamne iski kya zaroorat?"Prem blows off the candle and embraces her in his arms.Heer holds onto him tightly resting his head on his shoulders.
"main tumse bahut pyaar karti hoon Prem.Meri har ek dhadkan par sirf ek hi naam likha hai-Prem.Tumhi to ho jo meri veeran zindagi mein khushi ban ke aaye ho,mere
soone hothon ki hansi ban ke aaye ho.tumhari ek hansi mujhe rabb se mila deti hai,tumhare chehre pe halki si bhi shikan mere marne ka sabab ban jaati hai.tum mera woh
saahil ho jiske sahare main duniya ke har toofan ka saamna kar sakti hoon. Tumhaare ehsaas ne mujhe har darr se raahat di hai. Tumhaari baahon mein main apne saare
gamon ko bhool jaati hoon.Us waqt sirf ek hi aawaz mere kanon mein goonjti hai-Prem aur woh aawaj kahin aur se nahi..."
Heer suddenly lifts her head up from his shoulders,realising she had gone too far.
"Aur woh aawaz aati tumahare dil se jisne mere siva aaj tak kisi aur ko chaha hi nahin."
Heer tries to withdraw herself from his hold but Prem pulls her even closer.
"Aaj toh yeh chaand bhi pyaar ki is adhoori dataan ko sune bina nahin sone waala."
"Arre candle kisne bujha di."Meher enters in the darkness. Prem and Heer seperate.Meher lights the candle.
"Aap abhi tak khade hain?"she chides Prem.
"Aaj toh sukoon se baith bhi nahin paoonga."
"ise pi lijiye aapko dard se raahat milegi."she hands over the glass 2 Prem.
"Yeh dard itni jaldi jaane wala nahin Meher." He looks at Heer with fixed eyes,Heer smiles at him and looks down shyly
