big thing: can we beg, plead, promise to finance with the sweat of our collective brow, hiring a editing team for this show that is better than the one they've got? anyone could tell that the gayatri-mom-prem interaction did not make sense after the last scene in friday's show. 😕 are they seriously saying they couldn't have done a better job of editing friday's show and this show, so that these scenes fit better? i hate it when good material gets short-changed like this.
big thing: i'm more and more convinced that either the creatives are reading our pages, and coming with scenes in answer, or that we on the forum are so in tune with their brainwaves that we are guessing what's going to come next! seriously! one of the big things on friday was "where is gayatri mom!?!" . and hey presto, she's here, as the first thing on monday.
and she gets the more terrific lines ever on this show. i started watching this show after i caught the first traumatic gayatri-prem session ("even if god comes and tells me you are not my mom, i won't believe it, ma, i won't!"). i will continue watching it if they give us such interactions once a fortnight. this is the first mother-of-the-son that i've seen in a balaji telefilms show who is pure of heart, and pure in her love ("give me your life, prem. - after a heartbeat - give me heer!"). love love love their scenes together. 👏
prem thing: okay, so i loved the expression on his face when gayatri asked for his life. that was a quizzical prem look that i've never seen before. 😍
big thing: prem is seriously going mad! first he believes that heer can possibly be okay with muckmeet. and now, just so that he won't break down and scream his heartbreak out to his mother, he talks without any passion, any coherence, any control.
today, gayatri cannot have accused her son of telling her lies: he spoke only truth. but that magical voice had practically no emotion! he could've been singing the national anthem, or teaching a history lesson, and you couldn't have told the difference! is this what happens when you're trying to keep everything in, and you are trying to be truthful about your feelings at the same time?? it was certainly different from all the passionate prems that we have seen - this will be the prem that we will get if he continues on this insane track of obeying his father and not being with heer.
i got a little chilled by this prem. especially when he said "heer? will leave this home, she's a girl." he knows exactly what he has to do, hates it. he looks like he's fighing with all of his heart and mind to keep control. no wonder what he said sounded like an inchoate mess.
* forum thing: how many other ksbkbt-ers were howling in laughter when he finishes telling his mom that her son will be alive, but will be a "zinda laash"!???!!! we used to go on an on about how kt and lakshya were like "zinda laash"es during their traumatic dramas! 🤣 🤣 🤣
* prem thing: btw, when he did say "heer will leave, she's a girl", loved that little hand wave, as if he's trying to physically push her out of his .. well, out of himself. 😊
* little thing: i wonder why they showed heer as having heard all prem's ranting and raving? hmmm..... is it supposed to make her love him even more? is that possible?? 😆
* little thing: boy is that muckmeet-actor having a fun time being madmeet!
and that entire session was a prime example of bad scripting to waste time! who else was howling with laughter when the father says "are you thinking what i'm thinking?" and preeto says "i think i'm thinking what you think i'm thinking" or some such bloody inconsequential poop! who cares!! move on with it! show us more prem with loony dialogue but puhleeeeaassse spare us preeto going "bachcha" at mucks and muck-dad doing mental exercises with "are you thinking...." maze!!
* little thing: gayatri-mom and kulraj-didi's conversation. what was that grand explanation?? were the creatives getting prepared for the forum going: prem, her only brother is getting married, and the sister isn't there for it??? how unindian. how unsisterly. how very funnnnyyyyy to be talking about a character who no-one really knows or cares about! 🤣
* little (big?) thing: preet may hate what is going on, but he is still there for his pb. 😕 despite all his angry words, and having to face his father with shame, he is still there. how sweet is that?
* big thing: seriously, how does vishaka know nihaal so well?? how can nihaal have been that sloppy? i don't believe it: it must be a vishaka-trap and nihaal must have made copies! i mean, isn't this super-duper prem-hire nihaal detective???
hey, but we find out his name is nihaal! 😆
* big thing: one of my wishes came true -- mad, spinning lady came!!! i've decided that she is the best character in this show. she is the true believer. she never gives up. when she is desolate, to the gods, she offers everything in her power - herself! - to get prem and heer together.
and then it struck me: she is us -- the forum, the believers. no matter how bad the reputation of the story makers, we believe that heer-prem will be together. 😆 we are the mad spinning lady. and we are the best! the rest can go hang! 😆
go prem! go heer! go us! 😆
* big thing: because when she sings, prem and heer hear the call of their souls to each other! zombie prem's eyes get set alight with fire. can he hear heer's tear drops fall? isn't it convenient that he is sitting right in front of a nice little fire?? 😆 so m any tear drops, prem... 😆
* big thing: mad, spinning lady says that they will be together by a storm or a promise -- it doesn't matter what. and the next moment, a strong wind threatens to shatter heer's-father's photograph. and gets laluchacha's attention.
edit add:
so, there is a ghost story mixed up with this love story?
edit end
* little thing: who else was screaming for laluchacha to turn to dirtchachi and say "are you stalking me??!!" (my mom came up twice while i was watching the show. if i don't get me some prem-kind-of-self-control, you are not going to hear about this show from me much longer, that's for sure! 😆😆)
* big perfect thing: heer, wonderful wonderful heer, plants a germ of a doubt into laluchacha's mind! raksha, you could turn out to be right about lalu-chachu! 😆
this was a breath-takingly perfect scene -- all of it. in fact, i should start a heer thing just for this. this was the third most perfect scene in the show so far.
from the start: heer, miserable, isolated in the middle of the room. and when she hears footsteps at the door, the look of hope on her face was indescribable! her dash to the window, standing with so much hope at the door - of course, it must be prem to rescue her! who else could be male steps coming to her locked door!? and when the doors part for her to see laluchacha - the way the hope in her eyes change to tears. that was almost as wonderful as the way prem's fingers crept up the net separating him from heer in jail, and the way his fingers tighten on hers and hold on for dear life when his fingers find hers. that was brilliant - the acting, the photography, the editing. sheer brilliance. 👏
the way laluchacha is struggling with himself -- what he thinks he knows (that heer has helped betray his trust in his son) and what he instinctively feels (an inexplicable closeness to heer) -- and trying to be fair. lovely. 👏
and when he was nearly out the door, and my heart was nearly winding up and dying, heer speaks up - fiercely and quietly. this was almost better than when prem told his father that he had no relation but love for heer. and what she said was perfect: a memory. if he is true to her father's trust, he will recognise her. if he has indeed betrayed her father's trust, then he will not recognise her, and in any case, all will be lost. and her tears when he walks away was heart-breaking.
this was a perfect scene.
so. why can't these balaji telefilms devils not give us more??!!!!
* big thing: 🤣 🤣 so, vishaka is prashant's wife!!! bloody heck! (d'you know how difficult it is to howl with laughter with cloth stuffed in your mouth??! don't try it, ever! 🤣)
i now must eat crow and bow my head to the great forum-ers and say "hey, you all were right after all!!!" i felt like that washing powder ad where the guy keeps going "saboot hai, kya?" and in the end, gets it! 🤣 🤣 🤣
but did they have to make it that whole scene that cheesy??? 🤣 and how come prashant-vishaka didn't give a looooong explanation of her being the wife for the benefit of heer who was listening above? girl spies are seriously discriminated against in this show! 🤣
* big things: it was a good show. and i can't believe that tomorrow's will be better. and the day after's too! and i'm going to miss them - 😭
new thoughts going forward: heer's somehow going to tell prem that she believes him, loves him always. and it's going to be in a public place. and i hope we get to see her shake off dirtchachi's arm (maybe break it?? 👏) to do it. then prem will have to turn around to his father and tell him that he can't go ahead with it, because if he can't save heer, his life will be meaningless, and therefore useless to his father. and in the end, laluchacha -- without knowing that heer is balraj's daughter! -- will give him permission to go.
gee, it'll be like ddlj except that here, heer is raj and prem is simran! that will be such a lovely twist. 😍
highlight of the episode: heer gifting laluchacha a memory. gayatri-mom asking prem for his jaan.
