Don't we all hate DJ 😡 ? You'll have to wait and see to see weather or not Balraaj recovers. That scene of them teasing Prem was my personal favorite as well. Thanks 😊 dear!

Yep finally the much awaited and pro-longed wedding took place 😆.....I know we don't care for Balraaj as much but if it effects Premeer 😳 and their newly formed relationship then I guess he is important. I know haven't been updating regularly and I'm really very sorry for that. I also know the parts have become slightly.....I'll try to make the next update much longer.

This is dedicated to Nans (welcome back 😆) and Salma (where are you 😕 dear?).

Now enough of my chitchat.....here's the next update!

City Hospital, 12:45AM

An unconscious Balraaj was wheeled in on a stretcher with his worried family not very far behind along with Heer, Prem, Gayatri and Lalit. The rest of the Juneja family had stayed back as there were still guests who hadn't been taken care of as of yet. The turn of events had been so sudden that it was still to register in the minds of everyone. No one could come to believe that on such an auspicious and joyous day a great tragedy such as this could take place. They had left everything half-way through. Heer's bidaai was still to happen. There were so many rasams that remained unfulfilled. But that was not what mattered at the moment. All that anyone from both families could think about then was Balraaj's welfare. His recovery. Their hopes were still high but that was only because they weren't aware of the severity of the case.

"Excuse me Doctor! Please see to this gentleman here. He's just been brought in and it looks pretty serious Sir." the nurse explained to the only doctor she could find at that time of night.

"Of course right away. Ward Boys! Inhe Operation Theatre ki taraf le chaliye. Aur aap Sister......inki family seh saare forms wagaira bharwaalein okay?" the doctor took charge immediately being one of the few doctors on duty as he gave out the necessary orders. So far the hospital had been nothing but quiet. There hadn't been any serious emergencies either till this case had arrived and so it had come as quite a surprise. The hospital staff had thought they would be having a quite night but that didn't matter anymore. After-all duty comes first! This was what they had been trained for. Saving lives was their job!

The two Ward Boys wheeled Balraaj away from a reluctant Teji who was held back by Meher and Gayatri to the OT. Heer by now was in a state of shock and sat alone in a corner in her bridal attire. Prem badly wanted to console her but at the same time didn't feel like intruding. Perhaps it was best if she was given some alone time. Lalit cried continuously as he watched his best friend in this condition. So helpless. He wondered what could have triggered such an attack. Usually heart attacks would only occur on upsetting occasions or if a person had been informed of some terrible or shocking news. There was no such reason in this case as it had been such a happy occasion. His daughter was getting married! Nor had Balraaj experienced any such heart problems ever before. Then what had happened to Balraaj all of a sudden? Lalit remained confused as he shed tears on what should have been one of the most happiest days of his life. Gayatri was also extremely upset but didn't want to grieve as Teji needed her support more at the time. Similarly Meher didn't lament either. She had to console her mother! However Heer couldn't help but grieve for her father who at the moment was in the hands of life and death. Now only time would tell which turn things would take now.

The OT, 2:15AM

"DOCTOR.....DOCTOR! We're loosing him. Dekhein toh." one of the nurses alerted the doctor.

"He's slipping into a coma!" the doctor finally stated after analyzing the ECG's.

"He's isn't slipping into a coma because he already has Doctor." the nurse added pointing out what she had noticed just then.

The Doctor requested for him to be moved into Intensive Care and left to deal with the patient's family who had been waiting outside patiently all this while.

Waiting Room, 2:25AM

After what felt like an eternity to the Manns and Junejas a doctor exited the OT looking rather slum. He headed straight for Lalit and Prem considering it to be the most appropriate choice.

"Mr Juneja. Main aapse seedi seedi baat karna chahoonga. There's no point beating around the bush. Unki haalat waaqai bahut kharaab hai. Your friend has suffered from a very severe heart attack. So severe that during the process of recovering from it.....Mr. Balraaj Mann experienced a stroke which then led to him slipping into coma. He is now in intensive care and if he does not come out in the next 24 hours then only your prayers can come in handy. Only a miracle can save him. Main bahut maafi chaaata hoon. We did our best." the whole family had gathered around the doctor by now and listened to him motionlessly as he explained Balraaj's deteriorating condition to them.

Whilst some understood immediately.....others weren't in a suitable state to do so. But the word 'coma' was enough for Teji, Heer and now even Meher to break down into sobs.

Lalit who had calmed down by now consoled the Mann family along with the support of Gayatri who was also trying her best to remain positive and stifle her own tears. All this while Prem was fulfilling the necessary formalities and arranging for Balraaj to be kept in the hospital in the best possible condition for an unknown period of time considering how long it took him to recover.

After a lot of convincing Teji agreed to go home with Gayatri and Lalit. Meher decided to stay back with Balraaj and Heer had asked to return with Prem. But before Prem could come back from the Hosptial's administrations department.....Heer had left unexpectedly. That too without telling anyone. However where else could she have gone except for the Mandir. At such times like the doctor had stated only prayers and miracles could work magic. Now Heer being so emotional made a sudden promise without thinking it through once. A Mannat. She vowed not to consummate her marriage until her father recovered fully. She felt that her marriage wasn't an auspicious occasion but rather a tragic event since her father had fallen so ill so suddenly on the day of her wedding. He hadn't even blessed her and Prem yet. How could she go ahead and live a married life and fulfill all her duties as a suhagan when it had actually been her father who had seen this dream of her being married to Prem in the first place.

While Heer pleaded in front of God for her father's life....Prem was frantically searching for her all over the hospital. He hadn't informed Meher who chose to remain with Balraaj in his room yet as he didn't want to worry her unnecessarily. But he felt the need to do so now after there had been no sign of her for 15 minutes now. It was when Prem questioned the guards on duty that he found out that a girl of Heer's description had been seen heading towards the Mandir nearby. This had come as a huge reassurance to him. At this time of night it had to be Heer and only Heer! Other-vise who else would visit the Mandir so late at night.

"HEER!" Prem shouted out upon reaching the Mandir and seeing no person in sight.

Soon Prem saw the Pandit and made his way towards him "Pandit Ji.....kya aap ne yahaan ek larki ko dekha hai kya? Shaadi ke jore mein?" he explained hoping for a positive response in return.

"Haan beta ek larki ayi thi yahaan thori deir pehle. Lekin ab mujhe kuch pata nahi kahaan gayi." the Pandit recalled rather casually.

"Pata nahi kahaan gayi? Kya matlab Pandit Ji? Aap ko kaise pata nahi hosakta?" Prem questioned quite hysterically.

"Shaant hojao beta! Yahin kahin hogi. Sabar ka phall meetha hota hai. Jaake dekho toh.....yahin kahin hogi." the Pandit raised his voice and instructed orderly.

Prem became aware of his rude behavior with the Pandit and apologized straight away. He left with a sullen face only to find Heer sitting on the Mandir stairs sobbing continuously. He sighed in relief and then took a seat besides her. Prem placed his arm around his tearful wife only to find her shift as far away as possible from him to his surprise. But Prem let it go thinking she was upset about her father's health. He then tried to confort her with words but that didn't work either. She would just turn away and continue weeping as if she was immune to his words. When it became unbearable for Prem that Heer wouldn't respond.....he carefully caught her her by her right arm and dragged her but gently to his car parked at the hospital. Prem settled her onto the passenger seat after a lot of difficulty and then sat himself onto the driver seat. They drove home silently with the radio playing softly in the background. The only other sound was of Heer's muffled sobs which she tried to suppress but it all went in vain.

Hey....first of all its so great to see you 😊 comment after such a long time. You should understand that Heer is upset....in a state of shock....hopefully 😳 she'll overcome this soon. Thanks 😃 for liking it! This time I'll definitely continue soon after seeing an old reader back!

Thank you! Do keep in mind that sadness only remains until happiness takes over. How Heer chooses to react even I don't know yet....I'm still deciding 😆. But if you begin to understand what she's going through then you'll agree that she has a right to react this way at least for a while.

I liked how you showed the two different situations, i felt like i was watching a serial, thats how nicely you described everything! Ok first of all, i'd like to say sorry for doing my balle balle dance when Balraaj went into a coma. I was like yesshh, no problems for Premeer. But you totally made my happiness just last for a minute. Heer goes and makes a 'mannat' that she won't consummate till her fathers perfectly fine. Grr.. I feel bad for Prem.

Ok so what if Balraaj died? Would her she still have to go on with her mannat. 🤔 If that is so, then Heer you have left me no other option but to with Balraaj dies, or that he gets fit and fine, but just loses his memory.. hehe.. That would be so BT style.. except that never happens for the good guys, things only go in favor for the bad guys. So i guess if that happens it would be ST style, Shafaq Telefilms.. hehe..

Heer's reaction was I guess perfectly normal, thought I hated it. I mean if this happened to me on the day of my wedding, err I'd be crying like a lil baby. Except my dad has heart problems so i guess i wouldn't be as shocked as Heer. I like how Prem just watched Heer as she grieved on her luck, and didn't want to bother her. Have I ever mentioned how much I love Prem. 😍

I wonder how he's going to react at Heer's mannat. If he finds out. But knowing him he'd be ready to help Heer. *sigh* If only there were more guys like Prem in this world. I hated how Heer was trying to get away from Prem, I felt so bad for Prem right there. The poor guy gave up in the end and just decided to take her with him, and then talk to her. I just hope everything gets better, and DJ gets punished. Like biiig time.

Can't wait for the next part, continue.. whenever.. 😳

ahh poor Heer..hope Balraj recovers soon..and really liked Prem-Heer part..
