Those of you, who have seen jhalkias of Harshad's Mahabharat
The promo...I felt like Kekta's Mahabharat has a lot of resemblance to the film "300". The cinematography is quite similar - with very rich colors flooding the screen, but at the same time very unrealisitc. I also thought the clothes especially with the yellow sari, they were trying to capture that Greek-like, grandeur and elegance, like 300. And also the slow motion actions in some parts of the promo....was like this slow motion, evoked high drama and surrealism.
I seriously felt like I was watching an indianized version of 300.
Ofcourse there are real similarities between Mahabharat and the story in 300....both being epic battle stories.
