A couple of episodes ago, Heer was telling Prem that her parents chose someone for her, but he never came, so they got her engaged to Manmeet, so she wants to stay with her parents choice.
Then when Prem brought Preeto to that party, there also Manmeet mentioned that he promosed Heer's parents that he would marry her
How does that work?
