we saw just prem-heer holding hands for a big time but their eyes conveys alot of promises and thats where the holding hands came by....prem sees innocence in heer eyes as well as pain and a unknown attraction in her eyes and thats where he promise her through by holding her hand that no matter what he will always be with her and will never leave her and go....

its only holding hands but there is a meaning to it that is prem gave promise to heer in form of his eyes and heer understood it thereby the holding of hands to prove they are soulmates
