Obviously there is going to be a bias...because I absolutely love Preet and Meher.

I think this was Additi, Sushant, and Meher's first television show. Meher had some bit parts in some movies...but regardless, they all excelled in their roles.

Can't really pick a favorite scene...although I agree...Meher's scenes post Preet's demise were out of this world. Sushant as Preet was consistently great throughout.

Additi's dialogue delivery in the initial episodes was a bit lackluster...but she quickly managed to own that role.

And Harshad......even though my love for Prem wavered with the different tracks...he makes whatever role he takes on seem like it was written just for him. 😎

Then, like Shweta said, there was an entire cast of other actors...young and old...in good and villainous roles that really made this show a well rounded one.

And hats off to the actors that portrayed Lalit and Gaytri too...the range they showed over the course of the show was amazing.

So I guess my answer would be that...it was a combined effort from everyone that made Kis Desh such a memorable and beloved show.

I like the show for family bonding.

Fav scenes are really many :

Bauji Preet running around table to many others or Bauji Prem some initial and lots of post leap.

DJ as villain cracked me up many times - she's such a seasoned classy character who stands out.

Elderly care taker or someone who lived in family in 2008 and many other supporting actors I remember the faces but not names now that totally appreciated. They have created the family environment.

Meher and Heer and Nihal scenes - the Maan siblings liked their selfless and always wanting to make others happy - sweet nature.

Meher Heer running in field or early 2008 family bonding the hug scenes.

Preet Prem most fav and best siblings on tv - love to watch anytime.
So amazing.

Preet bonds so well with anyone in show so family scene when he and Kulraj di is there extra fun for me in Jzooo

Chahat is a cutie pie and her scenes with anyone I love - most fav are with her parents and would love scenes of her with Preet - many fans wished that to happen but it was not possible that time.

Jbros scenes always liked and loved many - Harman with the exception of his running away from family I liked all - his scenes with Prem or Preet or Heer are fab.

I guess last of the bit Premeer lead characters the main attraction for most fans are my fav too.
Whether they are sad / funny / happy whatever nonsense scenes the actors took ownership and made that very real. Eternal favorite Log.
