I CAN'T VOTE FOR THE BEST ACTOR SORRY RHEA 😆
Harshad Additi Sushant & Meher were equally brillant because they gave spectacular performances as Prem,Heer, Preet and Meher... The rest of the cast was equally good... can't really choose a fav! I kept watching Kis Desh during meeeh tracks because of Premeer & Meet warna I would have left! 😆

That's because, it's about the best actor. And for me, the older people, they were amazing.

I think they bind the show well, their performance is always amazing, whether they are asked to act a bit over the top, or funny, or sad...they had this really intense-always in the character- feel. I feel all of them are underappreciated.

Of course, there are the main leads, I love them for their character and their portrayal... But, if it's about the best actor...I feel it's the elderly one's like Bauji, Ma(especially when Prem had died in the fire), also Tasneem as a villain was really awesome.

Couldn't have said it better. There were so many good actors on the show, especially the elder ones.
I think as the show went on the younger actors also improved a lot.

Thank you 😃

The younger ones definitely learned a lot from the elders. The behind the scene videos also showed the interaction between them, it was like a huge family, learning from each other.

Very well put. We tend to ignore the supporting cast completely. It's always about the leads for us.

I think both the mother (Gayatri) and Tasneem were brilliant in making us hate them to the core.😆

I voted for Meher...because..no one else had voted for her yet. 😆

Obviously there is going to be a bias...because I absolutely love Preet and Meher.
I think this was Additi, Sushant, and Meher's first television show. Meher had some bit parts in some movies...but regardless, they all excelled in their roles.

Can't really pick a favorite scene...although I agree...Meher's scenes post Preet's demise were out of this world. Sushant as Preet was consistently great throughout.

Additi's dialogue delivery in the initial episodes was a bit lackluster...but she quickly managed to own that role.
And Harshad......even though my love for Prem wavered with the different tracks...he makes whatever role he takes on seem like it was written just for him. 😎

Then, like Shweta said, there was an entire cast of other actors...young and old...in good and villainous roles that really made this show a well rounded one.

And hats off to the actors that portrayed Lalit and Gaytri too...the range they showed over the course of the show was amazing.

So I guess my answer would be that...it was a combined effort from everyone that made Kis Desh such a memorable and beloved show.
