Yeah Nikhad...I travel a lot because of work ...and I mean a lot. For the past 2 years...I've literally been going home to Chicago for about 3 to 7 days a month...and once there I have tons of chores waiting for me too...so you have to be very patient with me.

I rather take a little time, read and enjoy your update 2 or 3 times, and then leave a nice lengthy feedback...so don't worry if it takes me some time. 😕

Here I am with the 3rd one.

CHAPTER 3

So the next day Meher woke up before Preet and was relieved that Preet did not understand she slept grabbing his tee shirt. The day was a bright sunny day. At first they were planning for going out to do sightseeing then they felt that there was enough time to do it the next day also, so today instead of that they could do a picnic at the huge garden behind the Kasauli Royal Palace with large trees and bushes which almost looked like a forest. They talked about it with the caretaker and he brought everything they needed for the picnic. Then they decided to do rest of the work by themselves and gave a day off to the caretaker.

Heer and Prem were cooking suddenly Meher came there and told them she wanted to cook the Bhindi and help them with other dishes too. Prem and Heer were amused and teased her by taking the name of Preet.
Heer: Awwh. So want to cook Bhindi for Preet huh? After all, that is one of his favourite.
Prem: Yes yes Meher. Wow.
Meher: Anything huh? I am just trying to help you two. *Stammering and blushing*
Prem and Heer laughed...
Heer: Umm but Meher the Bhindi done and the other dishes are almost too...
Meher: Oh okay. Not a fact, I will help with whatever is left...
Prem: That is really sweet of you my sister-in-law. But what I was thinking, can you help us on something else?
Meher: Yes say...
Prem: This is the last curry and it is almost done, you just keep stirring it for 5 minutes and then serve it in a bowl kept there with coriander?
Meher: Surely Prem jeeju.
Heer: But what are you up to Prem?
Prem: Lets go for some romance na?
Heer: Shut up. No, I will be with Meher now, you go...
Prem: Uff. You can be with her anytime in the kitchen but we can't romance behind a bush all the time. *winks*
Heer: *Shocked* When did you become so shameless Prem?
Prem: It is all Preet's mercy.
Meher: At least that mad did something good.
Heer: Meher, shut up. *Blushing*
Meher: What? Prem jeeju, take her.
Prem took Heer away though Heer did not want to go at first but later she went with her Prem.

On the other side Kulraaj was walking through the flower garden, Kiran came from behind and hugged her. Kulraaj blushed on this.
Kulraaj: What are you doing Kiran? Someone will see us.
Kiran: So? As if no one knows about us?
Kulraaj: Leave me na please my love?
Kiran: Nope, that ain't happening. Okay so you are afraid someone will see us na? Wait.
Kiran lifted Kulraaj in his arms and took her to the terrace. While going Kulraaj said,
Kulraaj: Kiran you are crazy.
Kiran: Yeah just for you.
Meher saw them talking like this and going to the terrace. She smiled unknowingly. She started thinking about her and Preet as Prem-Heer and Kulraaj-Kiran. Just then Preet came there and saw her cooking.
Preet: Aww, cooking huh?! You cooking is always so yum.
Meher: *Bit Blushing* Thanks.
Preet: *Acting like he was shocked to tease her* Huh!? Meher you are blushing?
Meher: *Controlling herself* Shut up. You can make up any story you want to happen, right Preet?
Preet gave her a myterious smile and left from there and Meher started thinking what was wrong with her.

Preet saw Ahlesha, Veera, Gaurav and Herman were quarreling. He went there.
Preet: What is wrong?
Ahlesha: Jeeju, look this two *pointing at Herman and Gaurav* are saying they will be in one team and me and Veera in one. *Irritated*
Veera: Jeeju we don't know how to play cricket much and they are making us more weak in this way. *upset face*
Preet: Herman and Gaurav why are you guys doing this to my sweet sister-in-laws? Don't worry sister-in-laws I will be in your team.
Ahlesha and Veera became too much happy.
Herman: What Preet this is not done.
Gaurav: Yeah Preet.
Preet: Oh really? So what you guys were doing, was that right?
They played cricket then and Ahlesha and Veera's team won. They had so much fun that day. Whole day they were doing non stop fun while eating, playing various games and gossiping. After the evening they were totally tired and due to over eating the whole day they decided to skip the dinner. They sat in the drawing room and planned their next day. Then before going to sleep, Heer and Meher gave everyone a glass of milk. After having it everyone went to their bedroom.

Meher and Preet were in their bedroom. Preet went to the washroom after Meher. Meher leaned herself on the bed and tried to sleep. She closed her eyes but suddenly she started feeling restless. She felt like someone was watching her, she felt someone was there in the room. She opened her eyes but no, there was no one. She sat on the bed and tried to console herself but she could not. A weird feeling of being restless and scared haunted her to the core. She did not kow why she was feeling like that. Just then Preet came out of the washroom.
Meher: Preet, let us go for a walk outside.
Preet: Now?!!
Meher: Yeah, I am feeling really suffocated in the room. Need fresh air.
Preet: But you were tired na? I think we should sleep.
Meher: *Angry* Okay, you sleep but I am going. All day when you roam around me then no problem but now I am asking and you have problem.
Preet: Okay okay calm down. Let us go.

Meher and Preet came out of the palace for a walk. The others who were thinking how to take Meher and Preet out of the house to accomplish their plan were surprised to see them in the front side garden and hid themselves. They were really happy and relieved as Meet came out all by themselves. Then they started with their plan.
Herman: Meher, Preet?! You guys here?
Meher: Herman?! What are you doing here?
Herman: Was not feeling sleepy after going to the bed, so thought to come out for a stroll.
Preet: Not a fact. I am doing here the same thing for Meher. By the way, nice weather for a walk I must say.
Herman: Yeah.
While walking back towards the palace Herman pointed Preet to look at some tree and started gossiping, Meher was walking towards the palace, her eyes fall on a room of the 1st floor and she felt like she was all frozen. The light of that room was going on and off but in a slow motion. That could be a normal thing but it was not since no one was staying in that room. Meher was trembling and then she screamed out loud. Preet and Herman ran to her.
Preet: *Hugging her* What is wrong Meher??!!!! *Shocked*
Meher told them the incident and Preet started almost trembling too after listening to it.
Herman: Uff, you people think too much.
Meher: NOO HERMAN. *Almost screaming being angry*
Just then the micro bus of them came and was parked in front of the palace. Prem and Heer came out of it.
Prem: What is wrong guys?!! *Acts to be surprised*
Herman: See? Now I get it. It was nothing but the headlights of the micro bus reflecting on the windows Meher. You are just over thinking.
Heer: But at least tell us what is wrong?
Preet told them everything and then Prem, Heer, Herman three of them did console Meher and Preet that there was nothing but the headlights of the car maybe.
Preet: Yeah, I guess you guys are right. But where have you two been this late at night?
Prem: Haha. Just for a romantic drive in the villag. Different experience you know.
Everyone smiled and heer blushed. With all these, Meher started to feel a lot better than before.
Meher: Preet, I think we should go inside and sleep.
Preet: Hmm, Meher.
Preet and Meher went inside. Just after that the other ones of the gang came out of your hidden places and celebrated their 2nd success.

On the bed Meher leaned a bit more closer than usual to Preet.
Preet: Uff. What are your intentions naughty? *teasing*
Meher: *Irritated face* Shut your mouth and just go to sleep. I am still not feeling really good. There is something weird here that is why I am doing this.
Preet: Umm, yeah you are right. *scared face* Let us sleep now. *smiles*
Meher smiled too. After a while Preet asked Meher if he could held her hand and sleep. Meher smiled and held Preet's hand.
