Part -2

Finally Heer is taken to hospital. Meher, Preet accompanied her to hospital. On the way Preet informed Prem about Heer and told him to bring money. Doctors checked. After few tests doctor came out and looked at Preet 'she has appendicitis. Need to operate immediately. Its emergency.' Preet 'do it doctor.' Doctor 'there are few formality paper to be signed by her relatives. Nurse will bring papers' Preet shook his head confusingly. Meher 'Preet, we can't sign in this papers.' Preet 'but informing her parents' he paused 'that will take time.' both confused and thinking what to do next. Meher broke the silence 'can i ask Ash to find Heer's home number. We'll ask her father if anyone of us sign.' Preet 'ha. Fast'. Meher is about to dial when Ash and Rishab walked to them. Meher is about to say 'i'. Just then nurses and ward boys went into room with a stretcher.
Ash enquired a nurse 'what happened?' nurse 'taking her to theatre.' Preet and Meher exchanged confused look. Heer was taken to operation theatre. All followed with the stretcher. Prem joined them.
While others sitting calmly in the seats, Prem walking here and there restlessly. Ash got up and walked to Prem. 'Prem, why you are walking like this?' in irritated voice 'as if you are very close to him.' Prem didn't pay attention to her. Prem walked away ignoring her.
Prem rushed to doctor when operation theatre door opened. Prem 'doctor, how is Heer?' Doctor 'she is fine. We were able to save her because of the operation done on time.' He didn't continue further. Others understood. Doctor pat Prem's shoulder 'she is fine. You can see her little later.' Prem 'thanks doctor.' He walked little away from others with a relieved face. Others exchanging happy smile and thanked God.
Ash rushed to Prem Prem, you haven't eaten anything. I'll go and get food for you.' Prem 'i'm not hungry.' Nurse came to Prem 'doctor wants to meet you.' Prem shook his head and walked to doctor room. Preet is about to accompany him. Prem 'Preet, you stay here.' Preet shook his head understandingly.

Heer is shifted to a ward. Nurse told everyone to go home. Meher offer to stay with Heer. Rishab decided to leave. 'Ash i'll drop you.' Ash where is Prem? both looked around. Rishab 'i think he left. I didn't see him after Heer shifted to ward.' Ash 'okay Rishab, then drop me at my home.' Both walked away.
Preet 'Meher, i'll come tomorrow morning.' Meher 'ya come early.' Preet 'sure.' Just then Prem walked to them with elderly couple. Prem 'Heer's parents.' Preet and Meher wished them. Meher 'aunty, Heer is fine.' Teji 'thanks beta for helping my daughter.' Preet 'she is our best friend.' Balraj 'Heer is blessed to have you all as her friends.' Prem 'Preet, you and Meher go home.' Preet and Meher agreed and decided to leave.
After they left, Prem 'ma Bapuji you both go and see Heer.' both went in. Prem stayed outside. After sometime Balraj came outside. Prem 'Bapuji, let ma stay here. You come with me to our home.' Balraj 'okay beta.' Prem and Balraj left after informing Heer and Teji.

Next morning, Prem with Balraj came to Hospital. Nurse walked in 'Mr. Prem. Here these are the medicine' she gave instruction to Prem kept the medicines on the table next to Heer Bed. Preet and Meher too came to see Heer. Preet 'arrey Heer, how are you?' he pulled a stool sat next to her 'next don't do like this okay.' he said making kid face. Heer smiled 'how do i know?' Meher teased 'see Preet became very thin.' Heer brust into laugh. Preet helplessly rolled his eyes. Teji and Balraj enjoyed their bonding. Prem stood smiling.
Heer 'Meher, did you brought anything to eat?' Meher 'ha I brought breakfast for you all.' Heer 'give that to Prem first. He didn't eat anything from yesterday.' Preet 'ha Prem eat. Now you can eat anything you want. Heer won't ask share in that.' Meher slightly hit her 'Preet' Preet 'ya. She can't eat all these.' Meher 'shut up. We are getting late. come'. Preet 'these days i'm not understanding girls language.' He got up 'bye Heer.' waving bye to everyone they walked out. Preet whispered to Prem 'come fast brother.' Heer 'eat your breakfast Prem.'
Teji gave him breakfast. No conversation. Prem waited until doctor's visit. Then he told Balraj 'babuji, i'm going to office. I'll come in the evening.' Balraj shook his head and thanked him once again. Prem said bye to Teji. He looked at Heer 'okay Heer. We'll meet in the evening.' Heer shook her head and smiled 'come for lunch.' Prem walked out saying 'today i can fast.' Heer smiled. Balraj and Teji didn't ask anything about Prem to Heer. Heer too didn't take his name.
Evening, doctor discharged Heer. Prem came to hospital. He finished the formalities. He took Heer and her parents home. He helped Heer to rest in her room. Teji stayed with Heer. Balraj and Prem came out of the room. Balraj looked around the house. Prem 'babuji, me, Heer and one more friend are staying in this house.' Babuji shook his head 'Prem, can you do me a favour.' Prem 'ha bapuji'. Balraj 'book one train ticket for me in tomorrow train to Kanpur. Teji will stay here until Heer recovers.' Prem 'okay babuji. You can go in flight.' Balraj shook his head and walked into Heer's room.

Next morning, Prem dropped Balraj in airport and returned home. Rishab is getting ready to go to office. Teji is preparing food for Prem and Heer. Teji called 'Prem, come and have your breakfast. I have lunch for you.' Rishab came out of his room. Teji invited him too. But he refused 'i'm bread butter category.' Teji 'come i'll make it for you.' Rishab 'no thanks aunty. I'm already late. I have a client to meet before going to office.' He rushed out of the house saying bye to Teji.
Heer is still sleeping in her room. Prem came to Teji 'ma, how is Heer?' Teji served him breakfast 'she is sleeping beta.' Prem 'did she complained any pain in the night?' Teji 'no. she slept.' Prem finished his breakfast 'okay ma. I'm leaving to office.' Teji enquired about vegetable shop and mandir. Prem explained direction of mandir and vegetable shop.

In office, Preet looked at Meher who is in deep thinking. Preet tapped her shoulder. Meher thoughtfully 'Preet, are they studied in same college?' Preet confusingly 'who?' Meher 'Prem and Heer'. Preet 'no idea. Why?' Meher turned to Preet 'I feel they know each other well.' Preet 'yes because they are alone in that room for past 6 months.' Meher seriously 'no Preet. Before Heer joining our office.' Preet became serious too 'is it? how?'
Meher 'Preet, connect all the lines.' Preet 'lines.' He looked up and ready to draw line on air. Meher got annoyed 'Preet.' Preet 'okay tell clearly.' Meher 'listen, you informed Prem about taking Heer to hospital.' Preet shook his head trying to focus on Meher's thought. meher continued 'doctor asked one relative signature for operation formality. No one signed. Suddenly they took Heer to operation theatre.' Preet became more serious. Meher 'Prem came. operation over. Doctor spoke only to him. Then he disappeared. Then came with Heer's Parents. This all gives me only one clue.' Preet 'what?' Meher 'he is familiar to her parents too.' Preet 'as we suspect Prem and Heer are lovers and they already informed that to parents.' Meher 'possible but.' Preet 'okay you want to check their profile. Wait.' He went out and returned after few minutes.
Preet sat next to Meher 'you are correct. They studied in same college. Prem is senior to Heer. same department. ' Meher clapped 'yes. i knew it.' Preet calmly 'so what.' Meher 'you are really stupid Preet. Think.' Preet 'i'm stupid agree. Now i don't have patience to think. Tell me.' he became more interested in listening. Meher 'Heer has no experience in analysing. Still Prem took him. and Nihal also hinted once he is waiting for Heer to apply for that post.' Preet thoughtfully 'then why he acted like he never seen her before.' Meher 'just to make sure no gets doubt.' She moved closer to Preet 'don't you remember how he started eating lunch after Heer joined our office. For the past two years he never had lunch.' Preet 'may be he knows her cooked more tasty than anything else in this world. but he ate your breakfast today.' Meher 'that is because Heer told him to eat.' Preet 'interesting and he pat her back 'you are really James Bond's sister.' Meher lovingly pulled his cheek 'so sweet.' Preet 'okay now investigation success.' Meher shook her head negatively 'no.' Preet confused 'what?' Meher teasingly 'i want to investigate what made them to be so silent.' Preet got up i'm not coming to this game. I have lots of work.' He ran away from that room leaving Meher burst into loud laughter.

Two days late, after finishing a checkup, Prem took Teji and Heer to a house which is nearing completion. Heer liked the place. Prem asked them to get down from the car. He helped Heer by holding her hand. 'ma, i'm building this house. I need some suggestions.' Teji 'this location is really peaceful and nice.' As they walked into the house few black and white scenes interrupted her mind.

A girl 'i should have a small plant area and parking space in the front of the house. Backyard should have big garden. The entrance of the house should have a door with beautiful carvings'. She placed a paper which had carving design neatly drawn in it. 'first small passage then big living area. In corner...' she continued narrating and placing the papers containing each description.

Teji and Heer followed as Prem took the around the house. Teji pointing a room 'Is this mandir?' Prem 'ha ma.' Teji 'did you ordered for' Prem interrupted 'ma, God is everywhere. So i'm leaving this place empty for meditation.' Teji smiled 'you are talking like Heer. she never visits mandir saying God is everywhere.' Prem smiled. Upstairs had two bedrooms and a small sitting area. Prem held Heer's hand as they climbed stairs. Prem opened a door and showed them the backyard. It is a beautiful garden. Heer face filled with happiness, unknowingly she shouted 'Prem, it is exactly the way i wanted.' Teji smiled. Prem smiled back saying 'it is your plan only.' Heer 'i know.' Prem 'but' he stopped seeing Heer making face not to say anything. Prem put his hand around Heer shoulder 'thanks.' Heer slipped her hand around his waist and leaned closer. Teji silently walked away leaving them alone. Sensing Teji walked away Prem quickly placed a kiss on her cheek. She smiled.

Part - 3

Weekend, Preet and Meher storm into Heer house with determination to find full history of Prem and Heer. Teji already left to hometown. Prem promise to take care of Heer. Rishab unable to catch what is happening between them decided to meet Ash to think further in their plan.
On request Prem and Heer opened their mouth.

Prem is two years senior to Heer and in his final years. he has his own gang of friends. Prem is very talkative and good in attracting girls with his joking words. Heer is in second year. She has a gang of friends and she is very silent girl in that gang. Gang is headed by a girl called Sanju. She is very bold and all the time encounter fight with Prem gang. This lead her to fall in love with Prem.

Slowly two started spending much time together in canteen, library, etc. They went to movie together. Prem and Sanju did the all the talk. They never met in private. But all the as gang. Heer look at Prem when he is not looking at her.

Heer with bunch of papers in her hand sitting in a bench in front of library. Sanju pulled it out of her hand. she saw plan for a house. Sanju liked it. Heer, this is nice. But mandir is empty.' Heer God is everywhere. So there is no need of image. Mandir should be a place where we can meditate on God and communicate with Him'. Prem gang there. Prem took papers from Sanju's hand. Sanju saw Prem liking it. Sanju started telling that this is how she wants her house to be. When Prem asked about Mandir being shown empty in the picture, Sanju told the answer shared by Heer.

Prem being a person grew up without his parents from the age of 15, staying in a room. Taking tution and earning through some part time job. He rarely had the chance of eating home food. His friends always had the habit of eating outside never thought giving him home made food. One day Heer brought some food extra with the mind of giving it to Prem. Sanju without knowing Heer's real intention gave that to Prem saying it is prepared by her. Prem praised the taste of the food and said he want to eat food from this hand for the rest of his life. One friend teased what will you do if you didn't get. Prem confessed that he will stay without eating anything for lunch.

Everybody took that lightly. But Prem refused to eat lunch from that day. Sanju decided to take this is an opportunity bugged Heer to prepare food daily. Her aim is to keep Prem hooked with her in that way. Heer brought food daily. Sanju gave it to Prem saying she prepared on her own. Prem enjoyed eating food. Sanju fall in love with Prem more and started dreaming and talking more about him. Heer several time tried to express his heart to Prem. but she never did that because she felt Prem is also in love with Sanju.

Prem's college days over. Prem bid good bye to them saying he is going in search of job. He promise to keep touch with them. but nothing happened like that. day by day Sanju dream increased. She annoyed her friends with more of Prem's talk. Heer kept her mouth tight as she is also silently dreaming him in her heart. Other friends tried to distract Sanju when Prem didn't even come for his graduation day. Heer unable to share her mind with anyone, struggled in her heart. She thought her love won't succeed because Prem is never aware of her love.

Heer finished her final year exams. All these years she kept her heart in control. But today on last day of her exams, her heart refuse to stay in control. From the time she handed over her answer sheet to examiner, her heart is racing towards Prem. she helplessly stood as Sanju with a heavy heart went to her home. Sanju is totally disappointed and shattered. Heer is able to understand her heart and she is also in the same boat.

Heer and came out of college. Others to cheer up Sanju decided to go out somewhere. Heer excusing herself from them walked towards bus stop lost in his memories. Suddenly a auto came and parked in front of her. she rubbed her eyes. Prem signalled her to get in. Without second thought she stepped in. Auto went to a near by mountain temple. Heer thought he is taking her to meet Sanju. He took her hand and started claiming the stairs in mountain.

Half way through, he guided her to lonely place in sideways. Heer helplessly looked at him with confusion. Whenever she tried to say something, he signalled her to be quiet. She is totally blank and confused what to talk to him. Prem stood in front of her 'Heer, will you marry me?' Heer is shocked. She blabbered 'sanju' he interrupted 'will you marry me?' She 'but' he 'i know you love me.' she quickly 'no i can't.' He raised his voice 'do you love me or not?' she shook her head negatively and looked away 'no'. he 'look at me' she refused to look at his face and repeated 'no no'. he 'you are hiding.' She 'no'. he Heer look at me. i know you are loving me. I came here only to meet your parents for marriage.' She 'not possible. Sanju loves you.' she shouted 'even now she loves you.' he shouted holding her by her chin 'you are my love.' He trapped her between his hands. Leaning on a hard rock, she tried to escape from him. He didn't let her go. 'Heer, I love you.' she is silent. He got angry.

In a fraction of second, Prem rubbed his thumb on a sharp rock. His thumb started bleeding. Heer is shocked to see his thumb. She shouted 'Prem' she tried to catch his hand. he pushed her hand away. He filled her maang with his blood 'you are my wife Heer. you can't hide your love any more.' Heer stood with shock. He leaned forward and placed a kiss on her forehead 'i love you.' tears came down her cheek. He saw her tears and understood that she is not hating her but she is confused about her decision as she thinks her friend loves him more.

He cupped her face 'understand me Heer. I love you. I was tolerating that gang only for you. i wanted to see you everyday. I know the food Sanju gave to me was prepared by you or your mother. Till now i haven't eaten my lunch. I'll continue this until you come to my house to prepare food for me.' tears came out of his eyes 'i love you so much Heer. i kept that all these years in my heart. I dream living with you.' he pressed his forehead on hers. They silently cried. He wiped her tears 'take your time Heer. you have one more month to get your result. After that i'm expecting you to come to me.' he placed his card in her hand 'my address. Give me a call. Next day i'll be here.' He wiped his tears. 'come i'll drop you.' she just followed him as he held her hand and took her to auto.
He instructed the driver drop. He gave money to auto driver. He 'Bye.' She shook her head. He stood there watching the vehicle disappearing in distance.

Heer got out of the auto few lanes before her house. She covered her head and went to her home. Her mother didn't notice her maang. She quickly went to washroom and about to wipe her maang. She stopped. She stared at her face in mirror. She touched her maang. She recollected the scene in her mind. Happy tears came out of her eyes. but she is confused to how tell this to her parents. Above all she is worried about Sanju. She took bath and changed.

Her mother noticed Heer and told about her father seeing guy for her marriage. She is shocked. She explained to her mother that she wants to work for sometime before settling in life. She somehow convinced her mother to speak to her father. Luckily her father accepted as he felt girl working experience will help her in future family life. He dropped the matter of her marriage for a while.
One month later, Heer exams final result came. First thing she did was to apply to the office where Prem working.

Heer went to Sanju's house. She heard from her mother that she is sent to Singapore. Her mother told her to chat with her online when she gets time. Heer spoke to her once. She found out Sanju is happy there with some friends and relatives. She also spoke more about a guy. She didn't ask single word about Prem. Heer later met some of her gang members and confirmed that Sanju is not speaking about Prem now. They said she understood it as a infatuation towards Prem. Heer is happy and out of her guilt.

Prem is breaking his head for past one month. His only hope was her last head shaking. Nihal placed a bunch of applications in front of him 'here Prem, you asked for fresh graduates.' He sat opposite to him 'what way this inexperience will help us.' Prem silently went through all the names in the application. Nihal is confused seeing him reading only names. Suddenly he pulled out one application 'here select this girl.' Nihal 'Prem are you crazy. You didn't check anything. Suddenly you are' he went through application 'she just got her result. So fresh. She don't have analytical experience.' Prem 'i want this girl as my partner.' Nihal understood. He read 'Heer, nice name. So she is the girl who is making you dream all the time.' he smiled 'okay. this girl is selected. Your partner. You manage. I want work to be done on time.' Prem smiled 'she is brilliant. Learn everything quickly.' Nihal got up 'managing others in our team is difficult now.' Prem smile 'that is your job.' Nihal 'okay. i have to manage. You have done so much for me and this office.' He walked away to prepare appointment letter for Heer. Prem leaned back in his chair with a wide smile of relief.

Preet and Meher took a long breath. 'what a lovely story. So now Heer agreed . did Aunty and Uncle agreed.' Heer 'ha i told ma about Prem before coming to Mumbai. She got the hint about Prem. she also passed on the message to Bapuji. Bapuji was little not sure. But after seeing Prem now, he likes him.' Prem 'next week during Pooja holidays our marriage is fixed.' Heer shocked 'what? Ma didn't tell anything to me.' Prem smiled 'Bapuji, just now informed me. he told to bring you next week. so that we can purchase things for our wedding.' Heer lost in her happiness. Prem looked at Preet and Meher 'please keep this as secret. I don't want Ash or Rishab to spoil our happiness.' Meher 'how long?' Prem 'for few days. Before pooja holidays Rishab will be sent to Singapore and Ash to Canada for a project. We decided to keep our marriage during pooja holidays. so that you both can attend'.

Prem and Heer reached Mandap for their marriage. Simple marriage yet a grand one. On behalf of Heer her father has invited all her friends. She is tensed to meet her gang member. Even Sanju came to marriage with her fiancee. Sanju is the one who teased Prem and Heer too much.

Prem entered their room with Heer. They settled down on the bed. He cupped her face 'still you didn't tell that Heer.' she shyly smiled. He teased 'i want that now.' She teased 'i don't trust words. Action speaks louder than words.' He 'oh show me.' she 'i'll.' She put her hands around his neck 'through out our life.' He started placing kisses on her face marking start of their love.

loved the story.premeer had a long history but managed to hide this from everyone?? :o wish it had one more part. i want to see rishab and ash's face after knowing about oh marriage :p

Prem knew Heer made food and served by Sanjana. Glad he was smart. 😛

Such a cute story - the operation part. I was thinking you're gonna make twist, but it was not. Heer was really ill. Sweet Meet love how they figured out the mystery.😃

Prem refusing lunch from others wow that's something hehe. He's very committed. :P

I enjoyed reading. You make Heer very very cute in stories - this is vey unique. Your Heer resembles the one in show always : She's soft hearted but very resilient and caring.

I'll Always admire your talent to capture the true essence of characters in show. Great job.

I read your all stories - many of them many time, Do you know. Lot of your fans have done that.

They are very addictive. :D
