Hello all...Fatima here again...😛

As many of you may already know...our very own naughty but lovable Preet...a.k.a. Sushant Singh Rajput is on a roll in his Bollywood career. 😎

After wowing the box-office and critics alike with his performance in Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che, this amazing actor has been selected to star in Yash Raj Films' latest production.

The movie will also star Parineeti Chopra, as well as another debutante actress, and will be directed by Maneesh Sharma, director of Band Baaja Baraat.

Shooting of this as yet untitled titled film is almost complete...and although no release date has been confirmed...it may be out by the last quarter of 2013.

I encourage all Kis Desh & especially Preet fans to give him your support and encouragement...👍🏼, by commenting on Sushant's profile and wishing him all the very best. 😃

Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra in Maneesh Sharma's next

Maneesh Sharma's next for Yash Raj Films (YRF), which was supposed to initially star Shahid Kapoor, now features popular T.V. actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant would be paired opposite YRF's discovery Parineeti Chopra in this forthcoming film.

Sushant already has couple of big Bollywood projects like Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che and Rajkumar Hirani's P.K. in his kitty and the young lad has now added yet another plum project in his bag. Parineeti, on the other hand, has already been seen in 2 YRF films namely Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl and Ishaqzaade.

It will be interesting to see this fresh pairing in Maneesh Sharma's next.

Popular TV actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who shot to fame with serial 'Pavitra Rishta', has bagged a movie to be made under the Yash Raj Films banner.

Earlier, actor Shahid Kapoor was to feature in this YRF's untitled film that is to be directed by Maneesh Sharma of 'Band Baaja Baarat' and 'Ladies vs Ricky Behl' fame.

However, the shooting schedule of the film got pushed after the director fell ill and Shahid had to opt out of the project due to some other work-related commitments.

As Shahid could not re-adjust the dates for the revised schedule of the film, the makers launched a hunt for a suitable hero and finally zeroed in on Sushant.

When asked if Sushant has been finalised as the leading hero for the film, a YRF spokesperson told PTI, "Yes, he has been finalised."

Sushant will be seen opposite Parineeti Chopra in this film to be produced by Aditya Chopra. The film reportedly has two actresses and the other one will be a fresh face.

Sushant will be making his Bollywood debut with 'Rock On' fame director Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming film 'Kai Po Che' and Raj Kumar Hirani's 'PK'.

If there is one person who will vouch for the importance of being in the right place at the right time, it is Sushant Singh Rajput. He started out as the lead actor in Pavitra Rishta, and his popularity soared when he contested in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa. After bagging two big- banner projects, Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che! and Rajkumar Hirani's Peekay, Rajput has now been signed on for a Yash Raj film. After Shahid Kapoor opted out of Maneesh Sharma's next, the hunt for the lead actor went on for a couple of months. Following several rounds of audition, Rajput was finalised for the role. He will be playing the lead opposite Parineeti Chopra, who is among the recent YRF favourites.

He will star with youngsters again after SOTY, Aurangzeb

Maneesh Sharma's next with YRF will see Rishi Kapoor in a pivotal role. This will be the actor's second under production with Yash Raj Filmsafter Aurangzeb.

According to a source close to the project, this is part of a well thought-out strategy to cast Rishi aka Chintuji in a strong supporting role opposite talented newcomers in the lead. Aditya Chopraintends to launch at least eight newcomers next year. "The company also wants to substantiate its talent resources at a basic level," the source said.

Apparently, the hunt for new talent is in full swing at YRF. "Maneesh's film has two heroines. ANew Girl is being launched alongside Parineeti and she has an equally strong role," said the source.

While Aditya, Maneesh and Yash Raj's casting director Shanu Sharma have been auditioning many girls for the part, no one has been finalised yet. "You can expect the new girl in Maneesh's film to be a patakha. Parineeti, who has so far played fire brand characters will be cast against her image in the film while the other girl will be a more spirited and sassy kind of girl," said the source.

Roadblocks due to baaraats in Jodhpur are common during the wedding season. But this time, it wasn't a wedding that caused a roadblock in the SUN CITY, but a film shoot onChaupasani Road that had the crowd queuing up to get a glimpse of the actors.
On Wednesday afternoon, people were excited to see Bollywood actors Parineeti Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput and Rishi Kapoor, all dressed in traditional wear, for the shooting of an untitled film being directed by Maneesh Sharma.
A scene was shot in the afternoon with the entire star cast dressed up in traditional attires. There was a lot of hullabaloo on the sets, as a baaraat sequence was being shot. The crowd at the place added to the chaos. However, Parineeti remained unaffected and kept calm and gave her shots along with Rishi and Sushant. The shooting will continue for almost a week at different locations in the city.
