Huma Qureshi & Anurag Kashyap - bound by biryani
If this is playing out like your daily soap, don't blame us. Late last year the coffee shops of Versova were serving some juicy bits about Anurag and Kalki hitting a bit of rough patch. And that, Anurag's GOW discovery Huma Quereshi had something to do with it. Both Anurag and Kalki rubbished the reports in an interview to this newspaper, with the latter explaining their curious dynamics. She praised the biryani that Huma's mom often cooked for them and said people did not quite understand how the three of them - Huma-Anurag-Kalki could actually hang out together and just be friends. Kalki had also insisted that Anurag, a true connoisseur of talent, was genuinely interested in Huma's career, while we were suddenly interested in that biryani that seemed to bind them all together. As of now, cynics are far from convinced and if reports are to be believed, Anurag is happily managing Huma's special talents, while Kalki is determinedly busy with her own life.

Imam Ali & Imtiaz Ali - import beauty
We did not quite believe it at first - Imtiaz Ali's marriage had suffered a serious and perhaps irrevocable jolt, and a certain Pakistani model and aspiring actress Imam Ali had reportedly was the catalyst. The reports created considerable anxiety for Imtiaz's father Mansoor Ali, who said that both Preety (his estranged wife) and his son were mature adults and would come out of the issue in a dignified manner as such rifts are part of marriage. While Preety has maintained a dignified silence, Imtiaz has moved out of the Andheri house he shared with his wife and is living on his own, just a few blocks away. As for Imam, it is tough to miss her shock of golden hair as she dodges the paparazzi around Lokhandwala. That's where she hangs out with Imtiaz and occasionally with Ranbir Kapoor too.

Prachi Desai & Rohit Shetty - prank test
This is the Tricky one. So it was on the sets of BolBachchan that PrachiDesai was the subject of a series of pranks. Some of them - especially the ones that seriously tested her acting abilities - had her almost in tears. But Prachi, good girl, seldom complained. After all, it was the director who had masterminded them. Once she passed the prank test with flying colours, came the shopping trips with him in Rajasthan, and suddenly everyone was more than just inquisitive. What happened in Rajasthan did not stay in Rajasthan and neither Rohit's nor Prachi's parents took it well. Last heard, Rohit plans to cast her in the sequel to Singham, while Ajay is rooting forAsin. Did we tell you that it was Asin who had kept a hawk-eye on her BolBachchan co-star on those shopping trips? Oops!

Mahie Gill & Tigmanshu Dhulia - dressed to please
Tigmanshu Dhulia is definitely the man of the moment. With Paan Singh Tomar finally getting its due and Sahib Biwi's sequel more than living up to expectations, he can afford a little indulgence, right? So, we were not really surprised at rumours about his special interest in MahieGill. Apparently, the talented director was serious about mentoring the talented actress, and spent hours discussing the nuances of his film with her, oblivious to The Rest of the cast. That he had found a rather attentive and diligent student in her was evident on the sets of a TV set whenMahie walked in wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Tigmanshu gave her quite an earful, Mahie left with a word and returned only when she was dressed the way he wanted. A source close to the director claims, "Tigmanshu certainly believes in Mahie's talent and would like to see her go places." The first stop after his own films is a special song he has created for her in his upcoming directorial Bullet Raja. The film stars Saifali Khan and Sonakshi. And we are sure Mahie will bring in just the right pinch of oomph in the heartland film.

Parineeti Chopra & Maneesh Sharma - territorial rights
We were the first to tell you about Parineeti Chopra and director Manish Sharma. When an actress accompanies her director on a recce trip to Jaipur, there is bound to be more than just a professional commitment, right? Since Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl the two have also been spotted spending quality time at various nightspots and restaurants in Bandra. And Parineeti almost let the cat out of the bag when she recently said, "Maneesh Sharma made me. So if Maneesh calls me at 4 am and tells me to do something I won't even think about it. I absolutely love him but in a very different way." What's more, Maneesh also made it clear that he does not quite approve of actors getting too friendly with his 'creation.' Which led to the famous ouster of a certain actor from his film, which is now being shot in Rajasthan with Sushant Singh Rajput. ConsideringSushant has a steady girlfriend, we believe Maneesh has been able to focus on his work without having to watch his back.
