The dashing actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen promoting his upcoming film Shudh Desi Romance on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa on Colors this weekend.

Sushant Singh Rajput has been a contestant on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa earlier and in the launch episode of the show this year too we had seen him shaking his leg on the dance floor. Yet once again it is going to be a treat to Sushant's fans as they will get to see him set the Jhalak dance floor on fire.

Our source informs us, "Sushant Singh Rajput will shake a leg on the dance floor with the gorgeous actress Lauren Gottleib."

When Sushant came on Jhalak earlier, he had said that he extremely adores Lauren Gottlieb and used to stick pictures of the gorgeous dancer on the walls of his room.

Well we are sure that Sushant Singh Rajput must have had really enjoyed this opportunity to dance with Lauren.

On the same excited Lauren's tweet on twitter confirms the news, "This weekend on #Jhalak watch me share a dance with Sushant Singh Rajput"

Parineeti, Sushant excited to attend Shuddh Desi Romance Premiere at TIFF 2013

Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput are coming to Toronto this September to make desi cool with Shuddh Desi Romance.

Right from the first 'Ek Chidiya, Anek Chidiya' teaser to the 'say it like it is' dialogues to the 'random' music - the film has been continuously generating tremendous curiosity amongst audiences.

After being invited by the Toronto International Film Festival for a Gala Premiere, the lead couple have been confirmed to attend by the festival organizers. Maneesh Sharma, the director of the film and Jaideep Sahni the writer will also be present.

Expressing her excitement at the TIFF premiere, Parineeti says exclusively to Filmicafe from Mumbai "It's an honour to be a part of TIFF. This will be my first time in Toronto so I'm very excited to be there with the team of Shuddh Desi Romance."

Sharing in his co-star's enthusiasm Sushant Singh Rajput tells Filmicafe, I'm absolutely delighted and honored that Shuddh Desi Romance has been selected for a Gala at such a prestigious festival. I am looking forward to sharing this very special film with Canadian film fans and hope they will enjoy watching it, as much we enjoyed making it.

Shuddh Desi Romance is the journey of three restless young people who junk the society's syllabus for finding love and decide to follow their heart. A fresh and very real take on the hair-raising minefield between love, attraction and commitment - Shuddh Desi Romance is a film that finally tells it like it is.

The grand red carpet premiere will be held at the renowned Roy Thompson Hall on September 11th at 6p.m.

Under the weather for a while now, the 'Shuddh Desi Romance' star has contracted typhoid

Ill health seems to be plaguing Sushant Singh Rajput for a while now. The actor has apparently come down with a bout of typhoid and has been reeling with high fever. During one of his recent promotional activities in Goregaon, Sushant had to retire to the confines of his vanity van to overcome his weakness.

According to sources, the actor had travelled to the sets of a dance reality show with his Shuddh Desi Romance co-star Parineeti Chopra to promote his film when he suddenly started feeling unwell. He was allegedly asked to take some break time and rest inside his van.

Even while promoting his upcoming detective film helmed by Dibakar Banerjee in July, Sushant had to pull out at the last moment from a round of media interviews as he was suffering from severe stomachache and nausea.

A unit hand says, Sushant has been working round the clock. He had also been down with food poisoning and had been advised to slow down on his work front. He had high fever during the day but he insisted on completing the shoot.

Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra, and Vani Kapoor - the main leads of the YRF 'Shuddh Desi Romance' promoted their film on the TV show ' Comedy Nights with Kapil'.

The two youngsters of B-town had a blast, as they laughed it out with Kapil and the team. The movie, which also stars Vaani Kapoor will release on September 6, 2013.
