Part 9
It was the day when Preet and Meher had to go on their honeymoon. Everyone had been busy since the morning getting everything prepared. The honeymoon destination was the one and only Paris a place where Preet and Meher had met before and they had wanted to relive their memories once again everyone had agreed this was a good idea. The Maans were to come over too to bid their farewells to their daughter and son in law and Balraj also had to talk to lalit about ashlesha and prem.
***
It was 2pm and the flight was at 5pm preet and Meher had to be at the airport in an hour and so everyone was rushing at the last minute to have everything done. It had been decided that they would not be coming back to India and that they would in fact be going straight to London. Everyone had been okay with this as they would also be returning back to England in the next 2 weeks.
The Maans entered through the front door and greeted everyone. Daljeet kept nudging balwant to which he had to ask Balraj to go ahead and ask lalit about prem and ashlesha.
" please come and take a seat," Gay3 said. " consider this your own house after all we are family now"
Teji smiled " yes indeed Gay3 we were always more than that I'm so happy that our kids liked each other and decided to get married if only prem and Heer want the same. May they too find someone for themselves, someone who will keep them happy"
Everyone agreed about that too and prayer to The Lord that the two of them should find someone they love soon.
"Lalit I have something to talk to you about," Balraj started.
Just then lalit who was looking at his watch interrupted and said "Can it wait Balraj because the kids kids have to catch their flight and we have 45 minutes to get to the airport,"
Balraj nodded and he helped with the luggage. Daljeet and Ashlesha looked on disappointed that they hasn't been able to talk about the marriage.

The two weeks went by in a jiffy. Balraj had not been able to talk about Ashlesha and Prem to lalit which frustrated daljeet even more. She had wanted the best for her daughter and she would make sure of that no matter what.
She wasn't being selfish she was just like another mother wanting the best for her child. She had the right to do that much. If her child liked something she would make sure that she wasn't deprived of it; no matter who it was or what is was.

On the other hand Heer had gotten admission in to Oxford university. She had worked day and night for this to happen and she was elated that finally she had achieved what she had wanted to since a long time. They had given her a room on campus and finally she could do what she had aspired to since she was young. Meher had wanted to be a fashion designer and she had achieved that but here Heer had wanted something different. Something which could get her to the highest of heights.
She decided she would tell her parents when they came back from dropping off Meher and Preet at the airport. She had decided to stay at home as she couldn't get herself to say bye to her dearest sister. She would miss her but now she was going to be close to her. Yes! She would give her this surprise after she came back from her honey moon.
***
Balraaj and Teji were over the moon when they had heard about Heers success. They were very proud.
"Heer i could not be any prouder of you at this moment," Teji exclaimed.
"Yes my dear fulfill all the dreams you had we are with you," Balraj added.
"Always," they said together.
Heer ran up to them with tears in her eyes and gave them a hug. She couldnt be any happier. She was finally going to do what she had always wanted to. She had always aspired to be a big business woman and that is what she will do!
