Part 12

In the night, Prem busy with his files. Heer sat next to him. Both worked for few hours. Heer got up to leave 'good night Prem.' Prem getting out of the bed 'Heer, we have to find some regular orders. So I'm going to party t'row. I can meet some people through them we may get export orders.' Heer 'its good.'

She turned to leave 'good night Prem.' Before she reaches the door she felt a hand around her waist. He pulled her back. He hugged her from back and kept his chin on her shoulder. 'I'm not going alone. You are coming with me.' Heer 'no Prem. I'm not used to parties.' Prem increased his grip around her. Her back completely pressing on his front. 'I too don't like parties but to improve our business.' He pressed his cheeks on hers. She closed her eyes holding his hand which is on her stomach. His hot breath on her neck made her tilt head back to rest on his shoulder. His lips touched her throat. 'So you are coming with me.' Heer 'ummm.' Not want to leave her he stayed quiet. He kissed her throat 'good night.' He lifted his head from her shoulder. She opened her eyes. Without looking back she rushed out of his hand.

Evening, Heer came out of her room wearing light blue saree with silver work. Megher gifted this saree to her after she won her first case. Heer never got the chance to wear such a grand saree. She kept it safe. Prem who is playing with kids looked up and saw Heer standing before him. He forgot to suck air for a second. Even without any makeup and jewels she looked like a princess. Prem got up picking up his coat 'shall we move.'

Gaya3 'one minute Heer.' She went to her room and came out with a box. 'Prem'. He came forward. She opened the box. Inside the box there is a necklace and matching earring. 'Prem, you put this around her neck.' Prem picked up the necklace. Heer 'ma' Gaya3 'for you beta. Prem take her inside.' she gave one more small box to Prem. Prem moved ahead and stood before the dresser. He kept the other things on the dresser. Heer silently walked behind him.

She stood infront of the mirror. Prem put the necklace around her neck. He moved her loose hair aside and bent down to put the hook. He placed a kiss on her bare back. her body curved when his lips touched her soft skin. He gently removed her earrings and replaced with the other. He kissed her cheeks. She blushed. He turned her to face him. He took one bangle. He lifted her hands and inserted the bangle without removing his eyes from her face. After putting on her hands, he lifted her hand and kissed her knuckles. He pulled her closer. She kept her hand on his chest and looked down. He lifted her face and kissed her forehead 'you are looking like a princess.' She shyly 'thanks.' Prem 'come we'll go.' She shook her head and followed him.

Gaya3 took kajal from her eyes and kept behind her ear. She pat her cheek 'looking cute.' She placed a kiss on her forehead. Prem and Heer kissed Chahat and Sneha 'bye.' Both waved their hands 'bye papa. Bye mamma.'

When Prem and Heer entered the party hall, all the eyes were on them. Most of them know about Prem's divorce. They were surprise to see Prem coming with a beautiful girl. The way he is holding her hands they all clearly understood this guy got his partner. One whispered 'they are really cute together.' Another 'she is a perfect match for him.'

Prem heard few of those words made him felt little proud. He pulled her closer. Heer is nervous because this is the first party for her. She increased her grip on his hand. He took her hand and tucked into his and kept his palm on hers. He smiled 'I'm with you.' Heer smiled back. He introduced some of his friends. They met some of the businessmen who are willing to partner with Prem again. Prem and Heer were really happy.

Prem drove the car to beach. Heer 'why are you going to beach now?' Prem 'spend time with you.' Heer 'ma will be waiting for us.' Prem 'don't worry I wont take much time. Just want to celebrate this day for getting opening for our business.' Heer agreed with cute smile.

Prem stopped the car in a place where there is no crowd. Full moon made the night shine in its light. He got out of the car. He went to Heer side. He opened the door and asked her hand. She happily gave her hand and came out of the hand. Holding her hand he walked in the beach sand. Heer silently followed him thinking he is enjoying the night.

He sat down. Heer too sat next to him. They watched the waves for few seconds. Prem broke the silence 'Heer, I'm happy that we got new clients.' He put his hand around her shoulder and pulled her closer. She moved little bit closer to him to good access. He moved his hand around her waist. He gently caresses her bare waist. Heer found hard to control her feelings.

Prem 'Heer, few months back I lost everything. I thought I won't be able to regain anything. But you gave me strength and courage. You worked hard to bring smile on my face.' he turned her face to look at him 'Heer will you be with me always like this.' Heer closed her eyes and assured him 'I'll be.'

Prem 'I want to give you something. What do you want?' Heer smiled pointing that moon 'I want that moon. Can you?' Prem face sad. Heer giggled 'I want one ice cream.' Prem surprised 'ice cream.' Heer 'ha one strawberry ice cream. Just one Prem. That too.' Prem 'one minute.' He ran somewhere and came with two ice creams. Heer happily licked the ice cream.

Prem 'I thought you are going to ask something big.' He licked his cone. Heer 'when you are with me I don't want anything.' She told those without her conscious. When she finished the statement she bite her lips. Prem surprised 'Heer.' Heer busy licking her ice cream 'ummm'.

Prem wiped his hands 'Heer' Heer finishing her ice cream 'tell me fast Heer. I won't like build ups.' She wiped her hand. Prem quickly 'will you marry me?' Heer stopped licking for a second and looked at Prem with her wide open mouth. Her eyes expressed joy and surprise. Prem winked at her 'will you?' he asked for her hand. Heer staring at his face kept her hand on his and shook her head 'yes.'

Prem pulled her into his hands 'I love you Heer.' Heer still unable to come out of the shock of joy, she hugged him back. 'I love you.' Tears of joy came out of her eyes. He felt her tears on his chest. He gently pulled her away and cupped her face 'Heer, why are you crying now?' Heer 'I'm happy.' He wiped her tears with her thumb. Heer confusingly 'Prem, will Ma accept me?'

He sat properly to give her comfortable position to lean on his chest. 'Ma already accepted you as her DIL.' Heer 'how?' Still leaning on his chest she lifted her face to look his face. He took her hands 'this bangle belongs to Juneja family. It goes to first DIL of every generation. My grandma gave this to my mother. Even though Ma brought Sanjana as her DIL she never gave this to her. She gave this to you today.' He nuzzled her cheek with his nose 'this means she already accepted you.' She snuggled close into his arms. They stayed quiet hugging and got up to leave. Prem hugging her sidewise headed towards the car.

When they entered the house holding their hands, they saw Gaya3 sitting in the hall. Prem walked ahead 'Ma' Gaya3 looked up with a smile 'you both came. Sit I want to talk to you.' Prem and Heer sat with Gaya3. Prem and Heer looked at each other. Their hearts already know what is in Gaya3's mind. Gaya3 'Prem, I'm asking you straight. I know you could have guessed by now.' Prem 'ha ma. i agree with you.' He looked at Heer who looked down blushing. Gaya3 looked at them with a surprise. From their face she understood. 'Prem, did you proposed her?' Prem nodded with a smile 'ha ma.' Gaya3 'Heer' Heer quickly got up and touched Gaya3 feet.' Gaya3 hugged Heer with tears. She kissed her forehead. 'I'm happy for you both. T'row I'll talk to Preet and Megher.' She went to her room after closing the entrance door knowing that they need privacy to celebrate.
