Joru ka Ghulam

Meher was standing in front of the mirror filling her maang hurriedly……..She glanced at herself for the last time and to the sleeping figure of Preet before heading downstairs to the kitchen……It wasn't the first time she was late but today she had broken all her previous records…….She dreaded having to face his family especially his sister Kulraj…..

Meher and Preet had gotten married almost a month before………It was an arranged marriage but they fell for each other way before their wedding……….It had been 2 weeks since they returned from their honeymoon and Preet had not even spared her for a night whether he came back home late from of office or from a party he made sure he got his daily dose……And that meant sleeping late at night and she always ended getting up late…..…But last night he had crossed all limits….

Meets bedroom:

Preet was pacing the room impatiently…….'God kitna time lagati hai yeh'…….

He grabbed her as soon as she entered the room, backing her against the bedroom door…….

"Kitna time laga diya…tumhe pata hai main tumhari kabse wait kar raha hun", he whispered huskily……

"Preet w-woh m-main maa ki h-help kar r-rahi thi", she stammered….His breath was warming up her cheeks…….

"Tumhe har jane ki fikar hoti hai sivay mere"

"Preet aap aisa kyun keh rahe…….", she tried to say…

"Shhhhhh….Lets not waste anymore time", he said picking her up and carrying her towards the bed………..

It was almost midnight when he finally let her sleep……..Tired of working the entire day and then giving in to his demands, she fell asleep almost immediately……….

After a few hours Meher felt something soft and wet on her neck ,whining slightly she tried to get to sleep…However she again felt something on her neck, opening her eyes she came face to face with Preet…

"Preet",she said sleepily…"Subah ho gayi kya??", she asked……..

"Na"

"Toh phir mujhe sone do na"

"No!...",He said and bit her neck softly….

"Preet please kya kar rahe ho"

"Tumhe kya lagta hai"

"Preet…", she blushed…"stop it"

"No"

"Preet mujhe subah jaldi uthna hai", pulling the quilt over her bare shoulder…..

"Meher", he said his eyes were filled with passion…She felt herself weakening under his gaze…..He slowly lifted the quilt, came closer to her…..his eyes never leaving hers for a second, pressing his body against her, he kissed her lips and slowly made love to her………

Meher blushed recollecting the previous night's events..…His love was driving her crazy……..

As she entered the kitchen she saw the entire gang waiting for her….ready to pounce upon her……

Ignoring them she made her way to the gas counter……

"Good Morning Meher", said Kuldi…

"Good morning", she replied meekly….

"Kya baat hai bhabhi aaj subah bahut late uthe………Raat ko theek se soye nahi kya", said Veera…….

"N-nahi ai-aisi koi baat nahi hai", she replied…….

"Kal raat mein toh Preet jaldi office se aa gaya tha na…..Phir bhi aaj subah late???", said Heer chuckling….(Heer was Preet's elder brother Prem's wife)

"Haan jaldi aa gaya tha….tabhi toh bhi zyada fresh hoga aur energy bhi zyada hogi….Kyun Meher", said Kuldi hi-fiving Heer……..

"Haan di afterall Preet aaj kal gym mein bhi kaafi time spend karta hai stamina toh badh hi gaya hoga", said Heer……….

Meher had almost turned red by now…...'Uff couldn't they just leave her alone'….

"Bas kuldi bhabhi ko aur tang mat karo….dekho naa kitni laal ho rahi hai…..", said Veera holding Meher by her shoulders…….

Meher silently thanked her through her eyes for saving her…..

"It alright bhabhi…vaise ek sawaal puchhna tha……Preet bhai bahut heavy hai kya???", leaving Meher all embarrassed………She cast her eyes downwards….It had been a routine since her marriage….The would all team up against her and pull her leg every morning……..

"Bas kyun tang kar rahe ho meri bachi ko", said Gayatri lovingly patting Meher's head, who hid her flushed face in her shoulder…….."Niklo tum sab ke sab abhi", she ordered……

After they left…"Meher tum inki baton ko bura mat maana kar…..karta mera beta hai aur bhugatna tujhe padta hai……"

Meher shook her head…..She never felt angry with them for teasing her…….Her in-laws were very loving and caring……They had never let her miss her family…….They would tease her, make her laugh, pamper her……..

And Preet he was the most loving and wonderful husband on Earth….In a short span of time he had become her everything………He was her friend, husband and lover…….He made her feel so special and life with him was heavenly……

It was evening time and the gang was in an extremely mischievous mood…. Meher entered the sitting room carrying a tray of tea and biscuits…..She noticed the gang's mood and wondered what were they upto now……

[Preet was the youngest and the naughtiest member of the family, a complete prankster….He succeeded in making everyone fall in his trap….But since his marriage the tables had turned….Everyone finally got a chance to take their badla…….Everyday they would come up with knew schemes to embarrass the newly wed couple….]

"Um Meher…", said Kuldi..

"Ji"

"Yahaan betho humaare saath", she said…

Meher took a seat opposite them hesitantly……There was something about their eyes that made her suspicious……

"Aaj dinner ke liye kya banna hai", asked Veera…

"Mutter paneer, daal, bhindi aur baingan ka bharta", replied Meher…..

"Chhheeee bhindi aur bharta…lekin humaare ghar mein toh kisi ko bhi bhindi aur bharta nahi pasand", said Veera….

"Lekin voh Preet ko pasand hai…isiliye maine…"

"Ooooooooooooh….Preet bhaiya ke liye", said Veera making Meher blush……

"Achha woh chhodo…..hum soch rahe hai ke hum sab…as in main, Veera, Kuldi, aur tum movie ke liye chalte hai….bolo kya khyaal hai???", said Heer…..

"Bhabhi main Preet se puchh kar aapko bataungi"

"Arey yeh kya baat hui…..Tum Preet se itna darti kyun ho", intervened Kuldi…"Voh tumhe itna tang karta hai, sone nahi deta, tumse sirf apni favourite dishes banvata hai, aur tumhe har baat ke liye usse permission maangni padti hai", she continued masking a shocked expression….

"Nahi aisi koi baat nahi hai…..voh aise bilkul bhi nahi hai…..", said Meher hastily trying to clarify oblivious to the amused expressions of the other three….

"Bhabhi aap kuchh nahi jaanti…bhaiya aap ko sirf use kar rahe hai…yeh bhi koi tareeka hua apni biwi se pesh aane ka", said Veera trying to keep her face straight……

"Nahi Preet bahut ache hai…aur woh mera bahut khyaal rakhte hai", she said defensively….

"Achha toh tum hi batao woh tumhare liye aisa kya karta hai…humein toh kuchh dikhai nahi deta…", said Heer winking at the other two….

"Woh….."she stopped in the middle….There was no doubt that Preet loved her and cared for her…..But whatever he did for was when they were alone…whether is was making bed-tea for her in the morning while everyone was sleeping, massaging her feet at night when she was tired, encouraging her to study further, bringing her her favorite flowers everyday, fulfilling all her wishes and the list would go on…….How could she tell them all this….."Bas mujhe pata hai ke woh mere liye kuchh bhi kar sakte hai", she said instead…

"Achha kuchh bhi??

"Kuchh bhi", she said determinately

"Chalo zara hum bhi toh dekhein... Kal Sunday hai……Preet ki chhuti…..Tum Preet ko kal apne saath shopping, phir kisi south Indian restaurant mein dinner aur phir theatre lejao koi play dekhne…"

"Lekin…", Meher argued…….

"Lekin-wekin kuchh nahi…manzoor hai toh kaho…warna hum yehi samjhenge ki……", said Kuldi

"Theek hai", saying so she left the room…

The gang hi-fived each other…..They knew Preet loved Meher like crazy and he surely cared for her a lot……And they were just trying to tease her….But there were 3 things he hated the most and would never do even if anyone begged him…..Shopping, eating south Indian food, and watching plays!!!!..........

Meet's room(Sunday morning):

Meher was trying to wake up Preet…

"Preet utho naa"

"Hmmm"

"Preet please"

"Meher aaj Sunday hai", he groaned…

"Tabhi toh…aaj aapki chhuti hai…please utho na"

"Kya hai Meher???", he said rubbing his eyes……

"Aaj ka kya plan hai??", she asked excitedly….

He looked at her from top to bottom….She had just bathed and looked very sexy…….

She could make out his intentions from his expressions…..

"Preet" , she hit him on the shoulder….He chuckled in response…

"Achha kaho kya karna chahti ho??"

"Ummm….main", she said as if thinking…

"Jaldi kaho warna mujhe apna plan follow karne mein koi problem nahi hai", he said shamelessly…..

"Preet aap bhi naa…….Achha theek hai….mujhe aaj shopping jaana hai, phir hum aaj dosa khayenge aur phir shaam ko hum kamani auditorium par play dekhne jaayenge"

Preet couldn't believe his ears…She was asking him to spend his Sunday…..His only holiday doing things he despised the most in the world…..

"Meher….tum kuldi, veera ya phir heer bhabhi ke saath kyun nahi jaati???", he suggested…

"Mujhe aap hi ke saath jaana hai", she said…

"Meher dekho I have a better plan …"

"Mujhe aaj yehi sab karna hai"

"Baby please na…", he said......

"Theek hai main aap ko force nahi karungi", she said almost on the verge of tears……She tried to get up but Preet held her hand……He had seen the look on her face and he hated himself for making her sad…..He pulled her closer to him……Holding her face in his hands he said,"Im sorry baby…Im really sorry"…he kissed her lips…"I love you……Tum jaisa chahogi vaisa hi hoga"

So the entire day, the great Preet Juneja did things he never dreamt of doing just to please his dear wife…It was almost ten by the time they reached home…..The gang had been waiting them impatiently…

They could easily make out from the tired look on Preet's face and the million dollar smile on Meher's face that she had succeeded in doing what no-one in the world could do…..They stared at them open mouthed…..

"Di, kya hum andar aa sakte hai….Di", said Preet waving his hand in front of her…

"Huh….oh haan obviously", she stepped aside to let them enter….

It was Veera who recovered from the shock first….

"Oh my god…bhabhi!!!…. ….. Prem bhaiya, Kiran jeeju, maa, bauji jaldi aaye", she squealed excitedly…..

Everyone came down wondering what happened…

"Kya baat hai Veera", asked Prem….

"Bhaiya bhabhi ne woh kar dikhaya jo aaj tak humein koi naa kar saka"….Meher looked at her with a confused expression….'Maine aisa kya kiya hai'….

"Humein nahi pata tha ke pyar logon ko itna badal deta hai", said Heer smiling at Meet, who looked at her perplexed……

"Seedhe-seedhe bolo akhir hua kya hai", asked Kiran….

"Main batati hun", said Kulraj…"Humne kal Meher se sharth lagai thi ke voh Preet who teen cheezen karwayi jinse who sabse zyada nafrat karta hai"

"Yaani ke shopping, south-indian food , aur plays dekhna….aur Preet ne usse manna kar diya phir?", Kiran said knowingly…

"Ah-uh…", she pointed out..

"You mean woh……..Kya????", he said…….

Meher stood their transfixed trying to interpret everything….So they had asked her to make Preet do things which he hated the most…….So it was all a prank!!!!…..

"Preet mere bhai kya yeh sab sach hai…", Prem said side-hugging Preet who was now scowling at everyone…………

"Mujhe nahi pata tha ke mere Preet Meher se itna pyaar karta hai", said Gayatri affectionately….

"Haan ma yeh toh pura joru ka ghulam bann gaya….Kyun Preet???", joked Kuldi…..

'Main joru ka ghulam banke rahunga

Main joru ka ghulam banke rahunga', sang everyone surrounding Meet.........

Meet's bedroom:

Preet was fuming with anger…..So it was all a joke for her….And here he thought that perhaps she really wanted to do all those things and he loved her too much too break her heart…….

Meher entered the room hesitantly…..She knew Preet would be angry at her….He turned back at her and both stared at each other for a few moments…

"Aap mujhse bahut naraaz haina???", she asked timidly……One look at her innocent face and his anger melted away completely….."Im sorry Preet mujhe nahi pata tha ke aapko yeh sab pasand nahi hai….varna main kabhi aapse yeh sab karne ko na kehti", her voice heavy…..

He came forward closing the distance between them…..How could he even think that she had done it deliberately??....He took her into his arms…Hearing her sob he made her face him…"Ssshhhh Meher….Baby please don't cry…..Main tumhari aankhon mein aansun nahi dekh sakta….", he said kissing away her tears………

"I'm sorry Preet", she said….

"Hey don't say sorry okay"

"Hmmm…..", she said resting her head on his shoulder……"Vaise Preet aap na ho toh joru ke ghulam hi!!!", saying so she burst out laughing and ran away from his reach….Preet took a moment to comprehend what she said…..

"Meher…I won't leave you….", he said running behind her…..He soon caught her and carried her to their bed……Pinning her down under him he asked her panting….

"Abhi batata hun kaun kiska ghulam hai"

"Pr—", but he didn't allow her to continue!!!!😉😳

JIO !! wat a shot.. it was very very very very very sweet... I loved it a lot.. Bechara Preet and Meher getting bullied by all after marriage ..poor souls *giving them big hug*..this was one of the cutest shot I have ever read.. do Write more...😃

Haha preet was verrry naughty! Poor meher being picked on! But preet is so sweet to do all of that! and the other stuff like the tea and foot massages! awww! I want preet for myself!
