Weekly Summary

Monday
Everyone is worried to see injured Heer.Heer points towards Viren but no one pays attention.They take Heer to Ludhiana.Viren tells his brothers not to contact him until he says.Prem goes to talk to Harman and in teh mean time Viren comes and tells that if she'll tell anyone the truth he'll kill Chahat.Heer is afaraid.Prem ask Heer about who had hit her but she doesn't tell him anything.Ranvijay and Gurinder tie Chahat to the chair.Ranvijay calls Prem and tells him that they have kidnapped Chahat and ask for 3 crores to leave Chahat.Prem tells this to everyone and Heer rushes to his arms.She looks at Viren and Viren looks at her.
Tuesday
Everyone come to know of Chahat's kidnapping from a call by Ranvijay and he tells Prem to arrange 3 crores and get Chahat.Prem agrees.Viren tells his brothers to be careful and ask for half of property later.Heer goes to Prem and tells him the truth about Viren and his evil plans.She says that Prem won't believe her but he does and they make a plan to enact if everything was normal like before and to expose Viren.Manager brings money and Prem tells to keep it in the room.Ranvijay calls and asks for half of property but for the time-being agree for 3 crores.Viren gets angry.Manager tells Prem his doubt was correct.Prem puts a cell phone in teddy bear and says he'll request kidnappers to give it to Chahat.
Wednesday
Everyone is worried about Chahat.Prem takes Viren with him instead of Harman to the kidnappers.Viren tells his brothers not to leave Chahat till they get half of Junejas' property.Lalit thinks Gurinder and Ranvijay could have kidnapped Chahat for property but Viren defends saying they are in jail.Kidnappers call to get papers ready.Chahat is thinking of her happy moments with Prem when she finds the mobile ringing in the teddy bear and talks to Premeer.Prem assures her that they'll save her.Ranvijay sees Chahat talking and tells Prem he'll take Chahat to a new place.Prem gets Viren's phone and send Heer to distract Viren from waiting for call from his brothers.Prem gets to know Chahat's location and he goes there to find her.He sees Chahat and decides to bring brothers out.
Thursday
Harman brings Police and decided not to take any kind of risk.Heer still keeps Viren busy with her talks when Meher comes.Prem messages Gurinder to come home to take money and leave Chahat in the factory only from Viren's mobile phone.They move out and Prem takes Chahat with him.Harman says to Lalit that he has doubt n Viren but Lalit disagrees. Gurinder and Ranvijay come to Juneja house and Viren says that it was not in his plan.Prem comes and exposes Viren and Chahat also comes and hugs Heer. Viren tells Prem that he can kill Chahat now also and points the gun towards Chahat.
Friday
Viren tells Prem to get the property papers otherwise he will kill Chahat.Police comes and catches Viren red-handed.All three brothers get arrested.Everyone is worried about Meher as she locks herself.Lalit comes and they have a family scene where they promise to start with a new beginning the next day.Next day,Prem is sleeping.Heer comes and wakes him up by saying that he is father of 3 kids.Prem realises what Heer said and is very happy that he'll become father once again.Prem is really happy and says that he'll live all moments now that he couldn't during Chahat's time.They hug and go downstairs to share the good news.Everyone is really happy and Preet's soul is there.Prem feels Preet.The show ends on Preet's smiling face.

Family
the family "episode" for Friday because it showed all the family together one last time - the Junejas we came to love and will definitely miss! Even Preet made an appearance, so if nothing else, his appearance makes it a family episode for this week. The final episode …or the final week even…really showed the beautiful bonds that are present in a famiy…be it husband/wife…parent/child….etc…the Jhuneja's really pulled together to save Chahat…the love, the trust, the willingness to do anything for the safety of a family member was outstanding…with the reappearance of Preet…it reminds us of one thing…if nothing else… just because people are gone doesn't mean they are forgotten…they are there with us everyday of our lives…they are in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers…it really was a nostalgic week…
Couple
Of course…this has to go to Premeer's secne…the part where Heer is telling Prem all about Viren and how twisted/evil he really is…the way that Prem believed in her and put her confidence back…Heer feared that Prem would not trust what she was saying but that wasn't true…he said…that he trusts her more that he trusts himself…*sigh*….i cannot believe that Premeer are no more…I mean…they were the golden jodi of SP and for us for so long…what will we do without them…their love outstood many tests to shine above all else!! hands down…best jodi on TV in a long time!!
Dialogue of the Week

HAILA!! Is this really the last time that I'm going to be pulling dialogues from the show? Is Kis Desh really, really over? I can't believe it... I didn't even have time to feel sad! What was this?> We didn't even have a Jugni dialogue! No "Heer prem ka prateek hain, aur prem sabse zyaada Heer me sama hain" dailogue, no "Premeer are one" dialogues?! :( Khair, we'll have to make do with what we have.

Yes guys, for a lack of a better, decent male dialogue this week, we have to go with one of Monkey # 1's dialogue! I have to say, even though Gurinder is a TERRIBLE character, he has some hilarious dialogues, and this was one among them. Gurinder has perfect timing and add to that a punjabi accent, and it is hilarious! In that intense scene, a dialogue like this one totally cracked me up! Looks like Gurmeet's filmy antics have rubbed of on Monkey # 1 too! Lol!

"Papa, papa un logo ko bohut marna, bohut daraya un log ne mujhe." - Chahat
TAUBAA!!!! Can ANY child be cuter than this little one? She is so precious! Chahat and Prem were so adorably cute in that scene, and haila, the minute I heard Chahat tell her dad that he shouldnt spare those gundes, i burst out laughing! Our darling of a Chahat is still quite the dadi-amma! Haha! Again guys, we didnt have a better female dialogue, so this is the best we have! We could have totally had a Jugni Dialogue, and i know that without a doubt, it would have been up here :( *SIGH* I still can't believe this is it!!!
OMG Moment of the Week

it's just an observation, but did anyone else find it odd that Gayatri was totally forgotten and ignored in the end of the show? She's been one of the most prominent characters of Kis Desh - be it a positive character for Premeer or a negative one as she turned out later. So it was definitely odd that no one gave her story a proper end. I mean what happened to her? She really didn't come back to the Juneja house for the rest of her life? She didn't have to pay for what she did? She didn't repent and come back? Prem and his mother were something special, so what happened to that? Too many loose ends here.
Biggest Disappointment of the Week

do I even need to do this section…*sigh*…as much as it pains me…I shall…the biggest disappointment in Kis Desh history…is the ENDING OF KIS DESH!! I cannot believe that this show which we have all come to love is over…why is it that Ekta managed to keep serials like KKSBKBT and KGGK running for 7 or some odd years…but an awesome one like Kis Desh…she kills it in its prime!? what is wrong with this woman…and SP…how could you…how could you cancel such a show…I don't know who started it or who wanted to end the show first…and since I don't think I'll ever know…I blame them ALL!! grrr…kyun multa hai unhe hume takleef deke!? *tears*
Shining Stars of the Week

This is so tough to choose! I am still in total denial that the show is over! It can't be :( *sob* Par, I do have to say, three characters stood out this week, and they were Prem, Heer and Harman...yes, harman too (giggle). They get this spot this week for being super smart about Viren. Prem gets special mention for being so confident in his Heer and believing in her. Heer was just as good in distracting Viren for so long ! And Harman gets this place for being the only other Juneja member to realize what a scum bag viren really is! Harman had a ton of valid points, and atleast his brain went in that direction...varna tauba, none of the Juneja's were thinking properly!
Actor
This is really tough, because if we really have seen the last of the show, all the characters need to get special mention! Kis Desh would not be what it is/was without the perfect ensemble of characters and actors. First and special mention goes to Harshad and Aditi for being so fabulously superb in their roles as Prem and Heer. We could not have ever imagined anyone else playing their roles. Week after week, these two put up their best performances, and kept us aching, crying, laughing and drooling with them. There cannot be a more brilliant, beautiful and eternal love story than Prem and Heer's, and these two pulled their roles of PERFECTLY! Next, Sushant Sing Rajput – Even though he had been missing for a few weeks now, his very presence in the last scene of the show was moving. Preet is definitely one of balaji's most beautifully etched characters. Sushant's role as preet was incredible! Deepak Qazir and Shama ji were just as amazing in their roles as Lallu and Gayathri. Even though we all have had our love-hate relationship with both these characters, these two played their characters really well! Viashali Sahdev as Meher was stunning in her role... just like all the other actors, she made us cry and laugh along with her. Her scenes after Preet's death still bring a tear to my eye, and her scenes in the beginning of Kis Desh still make me crack a smile! And before we forget, our litlle Chahat aka Muskaan was incredibly adorable as Chahat. We just could NOT have imagined a more cuter Prem-Heer ka tukda! There are so many people I am missing out, but this spot is definitely dedicated to all the actors on this show, the past and present! Without them, we wouldn't have had such a good show in Kis Desh Mein Hain Mera Dil!

The Band Bajgaya Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…the MONKEY BROTHERS!! the looks on their faces when they were caught red handed…it was too good…especially that Viren…thought he was so smart that he'd get away with all this…you wish! ha ha…it was too funny…especially when he realized that he just gave himself away!! awesome!!
2. The Heart Breaker Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…PREET!! omg…as if it wasn't upsetting enough that Kis Desh was ending…seeing Preet…in his atma form…OMG…killer…I literally had tears as I watched him watching his family and his Meher…that last part when Harman and Prem hug Lallu…it looks like Preet wants to do it so badly too…but he cant…omg…my heart bled for him!! hats off to Shushant for pulling of such an emotionally charged scene without any lines!!! BRAVO!!!
3. The Trust Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…PREMEER…thank God…Heer trusted Prem enough to tell him the truth…and thank God Prem had the heart to believe her!! I mean really though…if this wasn't the last week…she would have kept her mouth shut and he'd have never believed her…*sigh*…I guess you win some and you lose some…
4. The You-Go-Girl Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…MEHER! im so glad that they left her alone…I mean…it sucks but really…women do not HAVE TO HAVE a man in order to live a happy life....like she said…she will live for her kids and for Preet…girls are strong and independent…anything men can do…we can do better!! he he…
5. The MIA Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…GAYATRI…anyone else find it hilarious that they completely forgot about her in the last episode…lmfao…she's off with Jassi living up the single life apparently!! that was too hilarious!! not that I minded…I didn't care for her at all for the longest time….this was definitely a win for us!! he he….
6. The We-Hate-You Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…SP & EKTA!! I don't think I need to explain this one but I shall…how dare they take off Kis Desh…kya samajte hai aapne aapko?! grr!! because of them…we will never get to see Prem taking of a pregnant Heer…we will never get to see anymore Premeer scenes…how will we go on…*sigh*…may you all rot in h*ll…I k now its harsh but my wounds are still fresh!!
7. The Tussi Kithe Ho Award: ...goes to...*drum roll*...JUGNI...i just saw someone post something with Jugni in the title and i just realized...where has she gone...i would have loved to have seen her in the last episode...or even in the last week...she's been such an interesting part of Premeer...i mean come on...she gave us that "rabbaaaaa" song...lol...*sigh*...so many loose ends...anyway...we love Jigni!

Never did I think that the 46th issue would be the last for the KDC…then again…I never imagined that we'd reach 46!! as loveabletwinz pointed out last week…we are only a few weeks shy of hitting 50! so here's the plan….im gonna continue the KDC until we reach 50…we've worked too hard to back up now…the next few issues of the KDC will be Favorites Issues…
