Few days after Chahat's birthday, Chahat stayed with Gungun in Preet's room. Heer is arranging Chahat's dolls. Prem closed the door. 'Heer.' Heer turned to Prem 'ha Prem' He circling his hand around her waist he pulled her closer. Heer playing with his shirt button shyly 'Premmm, you are looking so excited today.'

Prem 'yes.' he sat on the bed and pulled her on to him. 'Heer, we are going to Shimla.'

Heer wrapping his neck with her hands 'are you going to open a new hotel there? we haven't got'

Prem cut in 'not hotel. Chahat turned 3 so its time to invite a new member into our family.' Heer shyly smiled. Prem hugging her tightly 't'row we are going there. we'll stay there for 3 days and' he nuzzled his nose on her cheek. Heer nodded. Prem 'this time I want to take care of you.'

Heer 'you are always doing that.' Prem placed her on the bed. Heer pushed him away 'I have to pack things.' she happily pulled the suitcase and started packing. Prem watched her happy face and helped her to pack.

After packing Prem hugged Heer 'you are waiting for me to talk about this.' Heer silent for a while 'last time I did the mistake and you missed the chance of enjoying our Chahat's days on my womb. You missed her some of her sweet moments as a little baby.' Tears rolled down cheek. He wiped her tears and stared at her eyes. she cupped his face 'I wanted to you to be with me to enjoy each little moments with our next baby.' Prem kissed her cheek 'I'll be.' Both stayed hugging unaware of the future.

Next morning, Prem and Heer started their journey to Shimla. Chahat kissed them and waved bye. 'Papa Mamma come fast. I cannot stay away too longer.' Prem kissed Chahat 'beta just count we'll be back in 3 days.' Chahat agreed. Heer kissed Chahat 'be a good girl.' Chahat happily nodded. Gaya3 putting her hand around Chahat 'she is a nice girl.' Prem and Heer took blessings from Lalit and Gaya3.

They went to Delhi in flight then Prem decided to drive to Shimla on road to enjoy his romantic ride with his Heer. They danced in the rain in the middle of their journey. He is holding her hand. He kissed her hand. She kissed his cheek. They enjoyed the ride.

They reached the farm house. Prem carried her inside closing the door behind. He placed her on the bed. He removed his coat. Heer watched him removing his shirt. He lyed next to her and kissed her forehead. She cuddled close to him into his bare chest. He slipped his hand through bare waist to touch her stomach. he removed her pallu. He buried his face on the crook of her neck and started kissing her. Heer whispered 'Prem, I want to go to mandir first.' Prem agreed. They took shower and got ready. They went to the near by mandir and did pooja.

They walked back to the house. On the way they ate in the road side shop teasing each other. They fed each other. Prem wrapping his hand around her waist pulled her closer. Heer with a fake angry 'Premm. We are not inside our room.'

Prem kissed her cheek 'I'm romancing with my wife. Who is there to ask me?'

Heer leaning her head on his chest 'is it? wait.' She looked up at his face and gave a strong kiss on his lips. Prem stood for a second. Heer pulling him to walk 'what happened Mr. Husband?'

Prem 'shock. I never knew that you are so romantic.'

Heer giggled 'I'm your wife. I need to learn something from you. isn't it?'

Prem nodded 'you learnt a lot.' Both laughed.

Prem led her to the garden. Heer looked at him with a questioning face. Prem told her to sit on the swing. 'Heer, you stay here. I'll be back in 30 minutes.'

Heer like a baby '30 minutes alone what I'll do?'

Prem kissed her cheek 'think about me.' Heer know he is planning to give her some surprise. She agreed. she kissed him 'okay. come fast.' Prem ran inside the house.

Prem took one bag. He showered some flower on the bed. He pulled out Heer's night suit and placed it on the bed. he sprayed some scent to lift the sweet fragrance in the room. he lit candles in the room. He closed all the windows and covered with the curtains. He looked around and got satisfied. He saw the clock 'I have 10 more minutes.' he filled water in the jug kept near the bed. He pulled out his night suit to change.

Heer is sitting in the swing and smiling thinking about Prem 'Every time he gives surprise in a style'. She felt each second like a year. She is slowly swinging in the Swing. She is humming a song and waiting for Prem to return.

When the time passed. 30……40……… 50….. Heer got panic. Her heart started beating fast. 'what Prem is doing inside? ' She got up to check Prem. she got down from the swing. She slowly walked towards house.

She felt dizzy when she put few steps forward. She felt her legs trembling. She saw the house shaking. She heard some people screaming from the neighbourhood. She is confused. She ran towards the house with struggle sensing that something is happening to Prem. Before she reaches the main door the house came down and collapsed in front of her eyes. Heer stood there freezed. She shouted 'Preeemmm' Before she could understand what happened around her she fainted.

When she opened her eyes she saw herself on a stretcher on the side. One doctor is checking her pulse. People are running around and screaming their dear ones name. She sensed that might be a earthquake. She got up and ran towards the house. 'Premm'.

A police man stopped her 'madam. Wait. Is anyone trapped under this?'

Heer with tears 'my Prem. my husband.' she cried. She started pushing the debris away. A woman held her tightly. Policeman ordered his men to search for a man under the debris. Heer shouted and wanted to run towards Prem 'Premmmm' she shouted and fainted again.

She woke up and saw two men pulling Prem out of the debris. She ran towards him. 'Premmmm.' His is head bleeding. Face is totally smashed badly beyond identification. Blood all over his body. A lady stopped her. They placed Prem down on the ground. A doctor checked and shook his head. 'he is no more.'

Heer shouted 'no. no its not true. He cannot go like that.' she shook his lifeless body. 'Prem get up Prem. you promised me you cannot leave me like this. Prem get up.'

Lady held her tight and softly asked 'madam what is your name? who is he?'

Heer cried 'he is my husband Prem Juneja. I'm Heer. he cannot leave me like this. Prem get up Prem' she fainted again. Her pulse rate decreased. Doctor immediately told to shift her to nearest hospital.

Another policeman quickly noticed a mobile in Prem's hand. He is tightly holding. He pulled out the mobile and searched for home number. He dialled the number and informed the home. Preet picked up phone. He dropped the phone. Lalit and Gaya3 ran to him. He sat on the floor hitting his head 'PB, died in earthquake. Bhabi is in hospital.'

Preet immediately left to Shimla with Harman. Preet went to hospital to see Heer. she is lying on the bed as a lifeless body. Preet sat next to her 'Bhabi.' Heer opened her eyes 'Preet , where is Prem? Please take me to Prem.' She cried. Preet hugged her and cried. Harman did all the formalities to receive Prem's body. Police handed over the Prem's chain, bracelet, ring and mobile to Preet. Heer cried aloud.

Preet entered the Juneja mansion with Heer and Lifeless body of Prem. Heer is not in the condition to stand. Megher and Maya helped her to enter the house. Gaya3 fainted. Lalit in a shock is sitting on the sofa without any movements. When they placed the Prem body in the living room, Chahat came down running to hug Prem. She stopped and looked at Heer who is sitting like a statue in front of Prem's body. She searched for Prem. she called 'Papa.'

Chahat slowly walked to Heer 'Mamma, where is Papa?' Heer didn't respond. Only tears run down her cheeks.

Preet hugged her tightly. 'Chachu, where is Papa? why Mamma is crying?' Preet silent. Chaaht shook him 'Chachu, where is Papa?'

Preet with tears 'Papa went to heav en.'

Chahat 'why he went alone there. why he didn't take me and Mamma? When he will be back?'

Preet has no answer 'he won't' and burst into loud cry.

Chahat cried 'I want to see Papa now. you are telling a lie. Papa won't leave me alone.' she started hitting Preet 'I want to see my Papa. Papa papa.' Maya took her to the room.

When others took Prem's body away, Heer shouted 'Premmmmmmm' and fainted. The entire mansion shook in her sorrow.

Heer is sitting on the bed hugging Prem's picture. Chahat came in crying 'Mamma, where is Papa?' Heer hugged her and cried aloud. Megher and Gaya3 ran to her room. Gaya3 hugged Heer and Chahat. Heer cried 'even God is not allowing us to be happy. Ma. He took my Prem.' Gaya3 cried along with her.

Heer 'why Ma? Why Prem left me like this?' Gaya3 has no answer.

Megher cried looking at Heer's state and thought 'Why always it happens to them?'

In the night, Chahat sleeping on Heer's lap. Heer stroked her hair. She looked at the Prem's picture 'Prem, why broke your promise. We are alone without you Prem.' she cried. She leaned back on the board hugging the picture.

Chahat started going to school but she missed Prem badly. She watched the children coming to school holding their father hands with a sad face. But she always showed a happy face to her mother.

Every morning Chahat searched Prem in every room of the mansion. She did the same returng from school hoping that her father is back. 'why Papa didn't come?' this is the question she always asked to everyone.

In the middle of the night Chahat cried in her sleep 'Papa, Chahat and Mamma miss you lot come fast?' she called out 'Papa' several times in the middle of her sleep.

Heer was shattered by Prem's death. She tried hard to hide her sadness for Chahat. She cried covering her mouth inside the washroom. Lalit and Gaya3 felt like they lost everything. Preet and Megher also forgot all their happiness.

Heer spend most of the time in business to forget her pain.But everywhere she remembered Prem. She finds difficult to move on in her life without Prem. She found there is no meaning for her life without Prem but Chahat is her only reason for her life now.
