Chapter 3

Heer could feel his warm breath on her neck which was making her weak she didn't have enough energy to push him away from her so she closed her eyes really tightly and she leaned more closely to the wall. Prem saw her state and he had this evil smirk on his face and he leaned closer to her and he whispered in her ear "consider yourself lucky darling that you are still standing here front of me" with saying this he let go of her and he turned his back on her and he was looking out of the window and he said "don't keep your hopes high I only married you because of my parents and I don't believe in relationships or this marriages they are no less then a business deals to me, so in this house you will have to obey my orders like my servants actually you can think of yourself one of them because your life control will be in my hands and whatever I will tell you, you will have to do that and yes I don't like hearing the word NO so keep that in mind" with saying this he gave heer a disgusted look and went to get changed. Heer stood near the wall tears were brimming in her eyes at that moment her whole world was shattered she couldn't believe her ears what she heard she was thinking that how could life be so unreasonable to her, she never thought that her prince charming would do something like that, at first time in her life she felt helpless and betrayed her dreams came to an end.

After like an hour she composed herself and she went to the washroom and she took a cold shower to make her brain work to come into reality and start believing in what she heard from her prince charming. She could feel the cold water showering on her head and she was sobbing and her tears were uncontrollable and her sindoor was running down on her face it was getting washed away which she really wanted because she wanted to forget that she is now married to someone and she has entered the hell. She came out of the shower and got dressed she wore her baby pink long night dress and she came out of the bathroom and she saw prem sitting on the couch drinking whiskey and he had his laptop on the table she ignored him and she walked to the bed and laid in the bed and she closed her eyes tightly so she could fall a sleep but to her dismay she couldn't sleep when she was closing her eyes she only saw his face with the evil smile and also she was fearing that he might come and tell her off or maybe hurt her. While thinking all this she fell a sleep.

In the morning heer woke up and she was having really bad headache and she looked around the room and she remembered everything that happened last night than she looked beside her and she saw him sleeping peacefully on his stomach and he had a small smile on his lips he looked so cute. Then heer stopped admiring him and she got out of the bed slowly so she wont disturb his sleep she went to the dressing room and she opened her suitcase and she took out a baby pink colour brocade sari it had silver embroidery and she went to the bathroom to have shower. Heer came out of the bathroom and she went near the dressing table and she dried her hair and then she did her light make-up and she filled sindoor in her mang and she was combing her hair when she heard the knock on the door she went to open the door and she saw gayatri standing there with a big smile and heer let gayatri come in and then gayatri looked at prem who was still sleeping and she smiled at heer and then she said "heer beta you look very beautiful and I'm very proud to have you as my daughter in-law" heer smiled at gayatri and she was looking to the ground and then gayatri walked to prem's bed and she woke him up and she said "prem get ready you are getting late for the pooja the pooja is starting in 10 minutes so come on get up" prem made a funny face and he said "oh mum do I have to attend this pooja I mean is it necessary" gayatri patted his cheek and she said "yes beta it is necessary because its for you and heer and its a tradition every new wedded couple have to do this pooja" prem took a deep breath and gayatri walked over to heer and she said "beta come down soon" heer looked at gayatri and she said "ummm mum shall I come now because I'm ready" gayatri smiled at her and she said "no beta you and prem come together" with saying this she left the room. Heer was feeling awkward now because from the corner of her eye she could see prem was staring at her and then heer turned around and she started putting her jewellery away, on the other side prem was still sitting on the bed and he shouted "now I will have to tolerate you front of my family and go to that boring pooja" heer didn't turn around she kept on doing her work, and then she heard the bathroom door shut and she looked over the bed and she felt relieved to see the bed empty because prem went to have shower.
