PART 1


Meher and heer are sisters. Heer has been married to Prem for about 4 years now and they have a cute daughter, Chahat. Meher along with her parents visited Heer's house a lot since they didnt have a lot of relatives and loved heer a lot. Heer lived with her in-laws (gayatri: mother in law, lalit:father in law, harman: brother in law, veera: sister in law), her husband and her daughter.

During the visits, Meher and Harman became good friends. They also studied in the same university. However, Harman was senior to Meher, so Meher took help from him all the time since they were relatives and friends. Several encounters in the university, library, and home aroused feelings for each other in their hearts. They soon confessed to each other and started a relationship.. Initially their parents were not aware of the relationship, however, they could not hide it for long. It was a shock for the family to know that Meher was in love with Heer's devar and Harman was in love with his bhabhi's sister.Their parents got angry at them for involving in a relationship before finishing their studies. However, they were soon ok with it. Meher and Harman are deeply in love now and plan to get married when Meher finished her studies and Harman starts to work with his dad in their family business.

Meher is a very bubbly girl. She loves to travel and hang around with friends and have fun. She is not the boring type. Home without her is not home. Her mom explains her as a radio who never shuts up but a very cute, beautiful, and caring radio. Her father describes her as the jaan of the house. Heer describes her as her best friend who is always there for her to solve her problems and make her smile. Her jiju describes her as a saali who is definitely his aadhi ghar wali. Harman describes her as his better half without whom he would not be able to live.

Harman is totally opposite to Meher. He is a very quiet person. This makes it easier for them to communicate as Meher only talks and he listens. He loved to listen to Meher. A perfect relation. It would have been really hard if both of them were talkative he thought. Meher brought fun in his life and also love. Before, he was a nerd who had nothing to do in his life except studying. But now his life was different, all thanks to Meher.

Life was perfect for Meher and Harman.

PART 2

Although the beginning of Heer's marriage was smooth and pleasant, problems started to arise soon due to the fact the Prem was step-son of gayatri. First, Veera saw Prem bhaiya getting close to Heer bhabhi and she felt neglected since she had all the attention of the house to herself before prem bhaiya's marriage because she was the youngest. After getting to know that her other brother was in love with Heer bhabhi's sister, Veera was not happy to share her brother again with Heer bhabhi's sister. She saw Heer bhabhi's magic on Prem bhaiya, she didn't want the same to happen with her Harman bhai. She put the same suspicion in her maa's mind. Maa also felt Prem was neglecting his mother. She was not prepared to share her other son with Heer's sister. Veera and Maa thought Heer and Meher are very clever and wanted to steal Prem and Harman from the family. They started to play their games. Problems occurred between Prem and Heer due to that. They argued with each other everyday. Prem didnt know who to support and took out all his anger on Heer. During the day Heer had to listen to taunts from her saas and then at night she had to hear Prem blaming her for everything bad that happened in the house. Heer stayed quiet to save her marriage because they had a little daughter who needed her father as much as her mother. All this drama affected Harman and Meher's relation. Harman's family was not ready to accept Meher as their bahu at any cost. Same happened at Meher's side. After getting to know how Heer was being treated in that house, they were not willing to send another daugther at the same place. they told meher that she can marry harman over their dead body. Although Meher and harman tried to convince their parents for their relation, it didnt work. One day Meher called Harman.

Meher(sad): Hi Harman
harman: hi meher. kaisi ho tum?
meher(sad): main theek hun. tum kaise ho?
harman(confused): main theek. kya hua meher tumhari awaz main itni udaasi kyun? meri meher to aisi nahi. woh to kabhi udaas nahi hoti.
meher(sad): haan harman mujhe tumse kuch baat kerni thi.
harman: haan bolo meher.if you want we can meet up and then talk.
meher(sad): nahi harman. ab hum nahi mil sakte aur na kabhi baat ker sakte hain.(she almost cried because she never thought she would say this to the love of her life. she never thought she would have to leave him)
harman (worried and confused): meher yeh kya keh rahi ho tum? aisa kyun keh rahi ho? kuch hua hai kya ghar par?
meher (tears started to flow down her cheaks but she tried to keep her voice normal. she knew if she broke then harman would also. whatever that has been happening with Heer didi was not his fault but they were both being punished for it): tum jaantay ho jo sab Heer didi ke saath ho raha hai aur ab maa bauji nahi chahtay unki dusri beti bhi usi ghar main jayay.
harman (sad and angry): laikin meher ghalti sirf maa aur prem bhaiya ki nahi. Heer bhabhi ki bhi hai. (Harman was not aware of everything that was going on in the house. Maa and Veera made it look like it was Heer who was fighting with everyone in the house)
Meher(amazed to hear to what he said but she didnt want to say anything against his mother. she knew he loved his mother a lot. also he was losing meher and she didnt want him to lose his mother too if she told him the truth): ghalti jis ki bhi hai harman magar sach yehi hai ke na ab mere ghar walay is rishte se raazi hai aur na tumhare ghar walay. hamain yeh rishta yahin khatam ker daina chahiye aur aik dusre ke begair rehne ki aadat daal laini chahiye warna baad main mushkil hoga.
harman (almost crying): meher tum jaanti ho na main tumhare begair nahi reh sakta. how can you even say all this? mujhe tumhare saath rehne ki aadat hai aur yeh aadat yeh pyar sab kaise khatam hoga? bolo meher…(she didnt answer because she didnt know what to say. she started crying) fine meher if this is what you want then i will do it. i love you more than anyone in this world and will always love you.
meher: harman aik vaada karogay?
harman(rude): vaada kerne ka ab haq nahi mera
meher: please harman. tum vaada karo tum shaadi kerlogay aur khushi khushi rahogay
harman: i am sorry meher main yeh vaada nahi ker sakta
meher (crying): harman main tumse bauhat pyar kerti hun. main bhi tumhare begair nahi reh sakti magar hamain alag hona parega. shayad kismat ko yehi manzoor hai.kaash yeh sab mere control main hota. hum shaadi to nahi ker sakte magar main yeh jaan ker hi khush reh lungi ke tum khush ho. (she knew it was impossible to convince him but she sill tried because she wanted to see her love happy)
harman (still rude): pehle tum shaadi kerna phir main bhi kerlunga. (saying this he hung up. he could not believe what just happened. he was aware that his relation was in danger but he never thought that it would end. he thought how would he live without meher?)
As soon as Harman hung up, meher could not control herself and started to cry uncontrollably. She never imagined that she would have to leave harman. after their relation, she always thought of harman as her husband. she shared her happiness her sadness her tensions everything. Harman felt the same about Meher.

Few days passed by, Meher and Harman both felt loneliness and empty space in their lives. no one could take their place in their lives.They wanted to talk with each other so badly but they could not. Meher made herself busy with the studies and Harman made himself busy with office work to avoid thinking about each other. but that was impossible. on the outside they acted normal with their families, but every second of the day their hearts were crying from the inside. aching for each other.every night both went to bed making their pillows wet due to crying for each other.


I know there are a lot of prem fans here so sorry i had to portray prem like this 😳
