yay! thank you for updating! I have been coping by watching meet vms and episodes of friends. But I am guessing Prem will be the ladka and preet will be the brother! yay! I love preet and meher so much!
Is it that predictable? Okay, yeah it is! 🤣I loved the chiding for the talking with mouth full- i actually do that to my dad! And I wished my older sister knew how to cook! It was a cute family part! I especially liked it because we barely got to see the maan family as a whole in the actual show. I am going to attempt to wite a meet oneshot- I just can't decide between two topics( i am not liking either right now!😔). Speaking of which- I loved your last oneshot!!!!! can you write a sequel please!!!!????😳FYI, I'm the older sister and the only thing I can cook is risotto. 😆 Which I've only made once. 😆 And I bake too! 😃 Ohhh you wrote a oneshot? 😲 I have to go read it! And aww thanks! 😳 Nope, no sequel.P.S. Did you like APKGK? I watched half and then fell asleep but i love ranbir kapoor!!!!!Ohmygosh yes I loved it so much! 🤣 The dialogues were so cute! 🤣P.P.S. I finally rewatched Love aaj Kal and understood it! I didnt care too much for it so if you deviate than totally cool and if you stick to the story-I am sure you will make it awesome!😛Ahh no. I doubt it's gonna turn out anything LIKE LAK anymore, actually...😆take care! You too!Tasha

Ohmygosh that was so fun to write! 😆
Post the other one soon *claps*
I was getting it ready when you edited your spot. Hmph. 😛
Love ya,
Love ya too!
Meera😳
Hello, hello! I was planning on posting this on/near New Year's, but...didn't happen. *hides* No matter, part 5 is finally done! 😃 Some of it was inspired by APKGK, let's see if you can pick out which part! 😆 I have no idea when the next part will be up, but considering college is opening on Monday and my driving test is in exactly two weeks (OMFGMYDRIVINGTESTISINTWOWEEKS! *runs around in circles panicking*), I...honestly don't know when I'll post again. It might be sometime in late April or early May when I post again, 'cause that's when my vacation is, but hopefully it'll be up before then! 😃 And either way, I'll post a little note in like March or something so that this FF doesn't get locked. Unlike my other ones. 🤔
Thoda Thoda Pyaar
Chapter 5
"Meher, jaldi Heer ko phir se phone karo," Teji instructed Meher, who immediately left the mithais she was arranging on a plate and headed for the phone, wiping her hands against the apron her mother had stuck on her. "Ladkewale aatey hi honge aur woh abhi tak nahin aayi hai…"
"Ji, Maa," Meher replied, picking up the phone. She quickly keyed in Heer's number and waited for her to pick up.
"Hello?"
"Heer Didi, aap kahaan hai?" Meher asked. "Aapko pata hai ki Maa kitni pareshaan ho rahi hai?"
"Sorry, Meher! Main bas abhi nikli hoon, main bees minute mein aaongi!" Heer told her.
"Bees minute?" Meher gasped, glancing at Teji and lowering her voice. "Didi, ladkewale paanch minute main aaney wale hain aur aap bees minute mein aa rahi hai?"
"Meher, please unhe stall kar do!" Heer pleaded. "Bhaiya, zara jaldi se chalaao, na? Mujhe der ho rahi hai! Meher, Maa se keh do ki main bas abhi aayi! Aur haan, apna mobile apne saath rakhna!"
"Achcha," Meher said, and Heer hung up. She turned to find Teji looking at her, her brow furrowed in worry. Meher smiled. "Maa, aap chinta mat kijiye, Didi bas abhi aa rahi hai."
The doorbell rang, and Teji's eyes widened. "Woh…paanch minute pehle aa gaye?" she squeaked, wringing her hands.
"Teji! Woh aa gaye!" Balraaj announced as he made his way to the front door.
"Maa, aap jaao, main chai aur mithai le aati hoon," Meher told her, nudging her mother out of the kitchen.
"Haan," Teji agreed. "Apron nikalna mat bhoolna."
"Ji, maa," Meher said, turning away.

There was something very familiar about this building, Preet thought as he closed the car door. He stared at it for a good moment, wondering what it was about this building that was familiar.
A sudden tap on his shoulder startled him out of his reverie. He turned to see Prem Juneja looking at him curiously.
"Kahaan khoye ho?" Prem asked.
"Woh…kuch nahin, PB…main bas…" Preet trailed off, looking from the building to his brother.
Prem shook his head. "Tum bhi bade ajeeb ho," he told his younger brother. "Ab hum chalein?"
Preet agreed, staring up at the building as he walked up to it, following his parents and his brother.
He had definitely been here before, he thought as they got into the elevator. He had probably delivered a pizza here, he realized. He fought back the urge to laugh. Of course, that was it! He had delivered pizzas to a lot of places, and this building must have been one of them.
Just as Preet relaxed against the wall, the elevator stopped on the fourth floor. The elevator door opened, and the Junejas piled out, Lalit, Gayatri, Prem and finally Preet.
Preet stopped, frowning. There was definitely something significant in the sense of deja vu that overwhelmed him.
"Oye, Preet?" Prem called, waving his hand in front of Preet's face. "Kya hua?"
"Huh?" Preet blinked as Prem came into focus. He ran a hand through his hair sheepishly. "Kuch nahin, PB."
"Toh hum chalein?"
Preet nodded, following Prem to apartment number 74, where Lalit and Gayatri stood waiting for Lalit's old friend to open the door.
As the door opened and Preet got his first glimpse into the apartment, he realized why this place was so familiar.
This was Meher's apartment!
The laughter bubbled up in his throat, and he bit his lip to keep himself from laughing out loud, knowing full well the bhashan Bauji would otherwise give to him when they got home.
Oh, Meher was going to freak out if PB married Meher's sister, and they became related.
This was going to be so much fun, Preet thought gleefully.

"Meher, beta, zara chai laana!"
That was her cue. Grabbing her cell phone, Meher carefully picked up the tray, then immediately set it down again. She reached behind her to untie her apron and cast it aside, then picked up the tray again, balancing her phone in her right hand, and she left the kitchen.
As she entered the living room, she assessed the family.
The father. He had stern features, though from the way he laughed with her Bauji, reminiscing over old times, she decided that he had a rather friendly voice.
The mother. She was rotund, and Meher saw her as one of those crazy, tyrannical mothers-in-law that one saw on the Hindi serials. (Not that she followed any of them religiously. Except for one…or two…or a few…)
Her honewala jiju. He was ruggedly handsome, she thought, blushing a little. She figured he was a businessman. Perhaps he had taken over the family business. She approved of him.
She was setting down the tray on the coffee table when her eyes fell upon the fourth member of the ladka's family. Her eyes widened as the pizza boy-slash-creep-from-the-club winked at her.
Meher straightened in indignation, taking a seat next to her mother, trying to hide herself from his view.
"Lalit, yeh meri choti beti, Meher," Balraaj introduced her.
She smiled folding her hands in greeting as Balraaj introduced the Juneja family to her: Lalit, Gayatri, her honewala jiju Prem and the pizza boy Preet.
So that was his name. Preet. Had he introduced himself? Hmm. She couldn't remember. But that didn't matter.
"Beta, Heer ko zara le aao," Balraaj asked her.
And right on cue Meher's phone buzzed with a text message from Heer.
Mere room ki khidki kholo.
Meher stood up. "Abhi laayi," she said, and all but ran to Heer's room. There was no way Heer was crazy enough to come into the house from the window.
Locking Heer's bedroom door, Meher hurried to open the window. Peering out, she was startled to see her Heer Didi struggling to climb the pipe just next to her window.
"Didi, aap kya kar rahe ho?" Meher asked, alarmed.
Heer looked up. "Mere jootey neechey hain. Baad mein yaad dilana ki mujhe unhe waapas lene hain. Ab meri madad karogi?" Heer asked with a grunt as she struggled to keep her grip on the pipe.
Rolling her eyes, Meher reached out, trying to grasp Heer's outstretched hand and pull her into the room. Finally, Meher succeeded, and both girls collapsed on the bedroom floor.
"Aur aap kehti hain ki main pagal hoon!" Meher grumbled, glaring at Heer.
"Tu kahaan kum hai?" Heer retorted, standing up. She grabbed the lilac anarkali suit lying on her bed and hurried to the bathroom. "Achcha, Meher, tumne ladka dekha? Kaise hai? Uska naam kya hai?"
"Achcha dikhta hai," Meher answered, sitting down on the bed. "Uska naam Prem hai, aur uska bhai Preet…"
"Woh kya karta hai?" Heer asked, coming out of the bathroom. She sat down at her dresser and freed her hair from the ponytail, deciding to leave it down. "Aur meri jewelry kahaan hai?"
"Yeh lo." Meher handed Heer a green box from her bed, and Heer silently asked her to help her put the necklace on. "Mujhe nahin pata woh kya kaam karta hai. Main bas chai le aayi aur aapne text kiya. Lekin dekhne mein lagta hai ki woh apna family business chalata hai."
"Family business?" Heer asked, making a face as she rose from her dresser.
There was a knock on the door, and the doorknob turned. There was a pause, and then the knock came again. "Heer? Meher? Kya baat hai? Itni der kyun laga rahi ho?" Teji asked. "Darwaza locked kyun hai?"
"Kuch nahin, Maa," Heer replied as she unlocked the door, pulling it open. "Bas meri suit par ek stain tha, toh maine change karne ke liye darwaza band kiya." She smiled.
Teji looked from Heer to Meher, frowning. Something wasn't right. Well, now wasn't the time to dwell on it, she decided. "Achcha, chalo, ladkewale intezaar kar rahein hain."
She took Heer's hand and led her out to the living room, letting Meher follow behind.
