Part - 20
Prem is standing near the window looking outside. 'Heer, I always wanted to spend our days together in our motherland. I wanted to travel around the world with you. That's why I never allowed you to quit your job as my PS.' His eyes filled with tears. 'When will I meet you again. I need you Heer. i'm alone and incompelete with you.'
His thoughts shifted to 'Why I agreed for a female PS.'
***Flash back
Prem is sitting in the couch inside his cabin. Heer came and stood infront of him. She started listing his appointments for the day. Prem just stared at her without giving attention to her words.
Heer 'Preemmm'
Prem pulled her down on to him. she sat on his lap. He turned her to keep her face on his shoulder and hugged her tightly. Heer sat on his lap comfortably wrapping her one hand around his neck and kept her another hand on his cheek. She sweetly 'Mr. Prem Juneja, we are in the office.'
Prem 'I know Mrs. Prem Juneja' he tickled her chest with his face.
Heer blushing 'Premmm, you are making me lose my control.'
Prem 'you are making me go mad on you.'
Heer 'what will you do during my maternity leave. That time you need a new PS.'
Prem 'I can manage on my own. If I find it difficult then I'll stay with you at home and take care of the kid. You continue as my PS.' He laughed. She playfully hit his chest with her fist.
Prem 'I won't allow anyone to work with me in your place. Surely 'no' to another female PS.' She hugged him tightly 'you are my sweet husband and boss.' she kissed his chest. he pulled her away and looked into her eyes. she smiled and unbuttoned his shirt and kissed on her bare chest twice and buttoned his shirt again. He kissed her cheek and hugged her tightly.

Suddenly Prem felt Heer's presence around him. He wiped his tears 'I can feel my Heer's presence here. Heer is here.' He is confused. 'how it is possible?'
A girl peeped in through half open door 'may I come in sir.'
Prem's heart jumped hearing the voice. He turned towards the door. Anjali is standing there with a cute smile on her face 'Good mornig sir.' Prem just stared at her. Without wasting a second he ran to her. He hugged her and kissed her cheek and forehead repeatedly. 'Heer, You are alive. Why you left me? Where were you all these years? Everyone said you are no more but I..'
Anjali struggled to release herself from his hand. She pushed him away. With a hatred face 'Sir what are you doing? my name is Heer. I'm your new PS.'
Prem happily 'yes. you are my Heer. My PS too.'
Heer with anger 'I heard that business men have bad habbit of flirting with girls. But for the first time I'm seeing with my eyes. you are disgusting. I'm not interested in working under you.'
Prem shocked and steeped backward 'Heeeer, you are my wife.'
Heer with anger 'I think you become mad. I never saw you before then how can I be your wife.'
Prem with a pleading tone 'can't you remember me. We were in Canada.' His eyes filled with tears. He went forward to her and touched her shoulder. She shrugged off.
Heer 'I cannot talk Kanada fluently. But I can talk good English and Hindi.'
Prem 'Canada is country not language. Its near US.'
Heer 'I never went outside this country.'
Prem took his wallet and showed her the wedding picture in it. Heer looked at the picture with surprise. With a smile like a kid 'she exactly looks like me.'
Prem with confusion 'Heer, its you. '
Heer confused then with clear face 'now I got the point. Sir, you misunderstood. Your wife looks exactly like me. But I'm not your wife. Old people use to say that there will be 7 persons face will be alike in this world. Maybe I'm the one who resembles your wife too.'
Prem looked at her with tears 'Heer' and he managed 'then how can be the name also be the same.'
Heer jumped a little bit in excitement 'you want to hear my story. Actually, I lost my family and memory in bombay blast. I even forgot my name. One little girl who saved me named me as Heer, it is her sister name who died in that blast. After that I never met any of my relatives. So I think I lost all my family members in that blast.'
Prem thought 'Bomb blast occurred 20 months back. Heer was with me that time. She left me after two days of that blast.' His heart said 'There must be some connection. don't get disappointed. Try.'
Heer interrupted her thought 'sir, I think it is not ideal for me to continue as your PS. You are totally confused that will put me is danger in the future. So I don't'
Prem quickly 'no Heer. Sorry, I won't talk like this hereafter. I just misunderstood. I need you as my PS.' Thought 'that will give me time to get your details.'
Heer thought for a while and agreed. Prem is happy. He called Maya 'Ms. Maya, please bring the appointment order for Ms. Heer.'
After few minutes, Maya came to Prem cabin and handed over the appointment order for Heer. Prem signed and handed the cover to Heer.
Prem 'Ms. Heer, you are my PS. You should take care of my all office works. Sometimes you need to look my personal appointments.' He turned to Maya 'Ms. Maya, you teach her all the details about this hotel and job she has to concentrate.'
Heer 'thanks a lot sir. I'll do my best.'
Prem 'Okay, you carry on with Ms. Maya now. We will meet after lunch. Everyday you need to be here morning exactly at 9. I expect you to be prompt and must be here before me.' he smiled and left the room.
Maya 'Heer, you are lucky to get this job. Prem sir is a very nice person. Please do your best to prove yourself. He has very high confidence on you.' Heer agreed.
Heer is busy going through the details given by Maya. Her phone rang. 'hi Anjali, how are you?'
Heer 'don't call me Anjali. Our plan will get flop.'
Sanjana 'oh you are more involved in your character.'
Heer 'I got the job here. He is thinking that I'm his wife. He feels I lost the memory.'
Sanjana 'good. Be careful. He is a very clever person.'
Heer 'don't worry. I'll take care of him. ..... And don't call me here. I'll call you later.'
She quickly hang up the phone hearing foot step sound outside her cabin. On the other side Sanjana is happy that her plan started working.
In Prem cabin, Prem is banging his head with Heer's thought. 'I can feel my Heer's presence when she comes close to me. My fingers says, she is my Heer. She is denying it' He got up from his chair. 'She is my Heer. How can I fail to identify my soul mate? Surely she is telling a lie. Why?' he looked at the picture in his wallet 'I'll find out. You are my Heer. You will accept it from your mouth.' He smiled.
After lunch time, Heer went to Prem cabin. She arranged the files on his table neatly. She didn't notice Prem standing behind her and watching her movements. Prem standing with his hand crossed across his chest. 'Heer does this thing first. She never likes my table to be a mess.' He smiled and walked past her and sat on his chair 'so you are ready.' Heer looked him with confusion.
Prem smiled 'to work with me. I need to tell you one thing. It will be very difficult for you to work with me. I never give importance to anything during my work time. My priority is only Job.'
Heer looked at him with fear. Prem continued 'I hope you will be able to catch me with in a week.'
Heer 'yes sir. I'll'
Prem 'now take down this and finish the work fast.' He started dictating. its really fast. He know that Heer can take up his note in any level. She took the notes and went to finish her job. She came after exactly 5 min 'sir its over. Please check it up.'
Prem checked and thought 'I know Heer, only you can run along with me.' he looked at her 'yes. good.' They worked together.
They are disturbed by the wind through the window. The papers started slipping out the table because of the wind. Heer got up to close the window. She tried to reach the window door.
Prem came to her reached the door and closed the door. He is totally glued on to her back. The sudden warmth of his body made her knees go weak. He hugged her from the back and she leaned on to him keeping her head on his shoulder. He kissed her throat and nuzzled his nose on her cheek. Her hands moved to touch his cheek. She closed her eyes.
Prem 'can I help you.' Heer came out of her dream world. She is struggling to reach the door. Prem standing behind few steps away, with his hands inside the pockets. Heer tucked her hair behind her ears and looked down. She slowly moved away to give way for him. He smiled and closed the window. He walked back to his chair without looking at Heer. Heer felt sad.
Heer went home after her first day work. A lady came and gave a year old baby to her. 'beta, did you got your new job. Here is your daughter. She is sleeping.'
Heer 'ha chachi. I got. Thanks for your help. From t'row I'm planning to leave her in our hotel nursery. They have that exclusively for hotel staff children.'
Lady 'its good. You will also be happy to have her with you.'
Heer 'ha chachi, I can go and check her in the middle of my duty. Most probably I'll be soon shifting my house nearer to hotel.' Lady took leave and Heer entered her house.
Heer placed her hand bag down. She placed the baby on the mat. She too lay down next to her. She stroked her baby's hair and smiled. Her thoughts went back to the hotel incident with Prem.
Prem went to a psychiatrist. He told about Heer.
Doctor 'Mr. Prem, after listening to your story I can come to two conclusions. One thing she surely lost her memory.'
Prem is disappointed. Doctor gave a hope 'there is another possibility that she is acting as if she lost her memory.'
Prem 'how will I find out the truth.'
Prem thought Heer was with me in Canada. We never came to India except for few days. That too we spend most of the time in hospital with dad.'
Prem 'what I have to do now? I'm ready to do anything to get my Heer back.'
Doctor 'you are very much sure that she is your Heer and she loves you. Then you have to risk your life.' Prem looked at him with a questioning face 'means?'
Doctor 'you have to create an accident scene in front of her. If she is your Heer then surely she will remove the false veil from her face.'
Prem 'I'll even give my life to get my Heer back.' he left the hospital thinking what way he can make his Heer reveal her true identity.
In the night, Prem picked up the phone. 'Preet, you check in the immigration about Heer. You remember the date right?'
Preet 'ha PB. But suddenly why?'
Prem 'I feel Heer left the country on that day or later. The lady died in the accident is not Heer.'
Preet confused but agreed 'PB, don't worry. Megher has a friend who can help us in this matter.' Prem hang up the phone. with a hope.
