PART 10Before ash could reach meher, preet came in the way and held the knife with his hand. ash was shocked that she could not get meher. preet's hand started to bleed. meher saw that and moved towards him but he stopped her. he gave a tight slap to ash and threw the knife on the floor away from everyone. everyone was shocked that preet raised his hand on a woman. they knew about his dangerous anger, but they also knew that preet respected woman a lot and he would never hit a woman. but today he did. and he did it for meher. meher had tears in her eyes seeing blood dripping from preet's hands. seeing him hurt, she wished he never came in the way to stop ash. both preet and meher were willing to give their lives for each other.
preet😡: tumhari himmat kaise hui meher par attack kerne ki. tumhe us tak pahaunchnay ke liye mujhse guzarna hoga. tum isi waqt is ghar se nikal jao. abhi to maine sirf thappar mara hai. main chahta to attempt to murder ke case main tumhe jail bhijwa daita. nikal jao yahan se warna acha nahi hoga
preet took hold of ash's hand and dragged her outside. no one interfered. preet threw her out of the house.
preet😡: aj ke baad apni shakal bhi hamain mat dikhana. (saying this he shut the doors and moved towards his family)
meher got a first aid box and made preet sit on the sofa. she didnt say anything to him. she was angry at him for hurting himself. she cleaned the blood and put a bandage carefully. she could see the pain in his eyes (although she tried to avoid them. they always melt down her anger). she also saw relief in his eyes. everything was ok now and there was no bad person in the house to ruin their lives. preet saw meher's mood and was confused why she was being so angry. he tried to move closer to her but she gave him an angry look and he stopped. they were still in front of the whole family so he had to wait till they were alone. meanwhile, heer apologized from prem for leaving him for a mistake he didnt do and not having a father for chahat in her childhood. prem forgave her instantly because it was not her mistake. they could not change the past but today they were together and thats what matters. meher was done putting bandage on preet's hands. bauji moved towards preet and hugged him.
bauji: maine hamesha tujhe nalaik samjha magar aj tu ne is pariravaar ke liye jo kia hai…(cut off by preet)
preet: bauji yeh parivaar mera bhi to hai na to maine sirf apna farz nibhaya
heer: maine to ash ko maaf kara ke shayad woh usay dil se pachtawa tha magar woh kuch aur iraadon se aayi thi. 6 saal pehle usne mujhe aur prem ko alag kia aur aj na janay woh kya kerti. preet tu ne bauhat acha kia. thanks preet
preet: aray babhi..
prem: haan preet heer sahi keh rahi hai. tu yeh sab na kerta to hamain asliyat na pata chalti. thanks preet(prem hugged preet
preet: bhabhi aur pb app dono ko thanks kehne ki koi zaroorat nahi. maine sirf hamaray parivaar ki khushi aur suraksha ke liye kia yeh sab.app ke liye to meri jaan bhi haazir hai (preet was very happy that today the whole family, including bauji, thought he was a good son and worth something) (bauji and maa went to pray to thank God for saving them from ash)
prem(he saw meher was not saying anything and was angry for some reason. he decided to tease preet): waise preet, tu kuch ziada hi nahi chipak raha tha ash se video main (heer knew what prem was doing so she hit his arm lightly)
preet(looked at prem bhaiya in anger and look at meher who very angry listening to this): pb app ko koi aur kaam nahi. kyun meri shaadi shuda zindagi kharab ker rahay ho. main ash se nahi chipak raha tha.
prem: acha chal theek hai tu kehta hai to maan laita hun (saying this heer took him to their room)
preet looked at meher who was fuming with anger. she turned around and went to her room. preet followed her. he closed the door behind him. he knew their would an arguement and he didnt want the house to hear it. they always teased them later on and he was in no mood to give pb another chance to tease him. meher went to bed and took a magazine and pretended to read. preet came and sat beside her. he help her hand but she released it. preet knew today he had a lot of work to do. meher was very angry today. he moved closer to her and rested his head on her shoulder. meher moved away from him.
preet: kya hua meher?(tried not show his fear )
meher: jao tum us ash se chipko! mujhse kyun chipak rahay ho
preet: kyun ke tum meri biwi ho. meher please na yaar.tumhe pata hai woh sirf acting thi aur main us say itna chipka bhi nahi.
meher: ooo to ab tumhe regret hai ke tum us say chipkay nahi?
preet: maine aisa kab kaha meher. please jaan naraz mat ho. woh sirf acting thi tum jaanti ho na.main tumhare ilawa kisi ko haath laganay ki soch bhi nahi sakta to phir ash se. i m sorry na(made an innocent face which meher couldnt ignore)
meher: its ok (she sat down on the bed again and started reading again)
preet moved closer to her and slipped his arms around her waist and tried to kiss her. she moved back again.
preet(confused): ab kya hua meher?
meher (angry): kya hua??!!! jab tak tumhara haath theek nahi ho jata tum mujhe haath nahi lagaogay!
preet(shocked and sad): laikin meher..
meher: laikin waikin kuch nahi. kya zaroorat thi beech main anay ki? kitna khoon nikla (almost crying) magar tumhe to kisi cheez ki chinta nahi na.
preet: chinta hai.tumhari chinta hai. aur zaroorat thi beech main anay ki. meher main nahi bardaasht ker sakta koi tumhe hurt karay. (he got up from the bed and hugged meher very tightly. never wanting to let go)
meher hugged him with the same passion. she has been married for a few years and everyday preet made her fall in love with him even more. their love for each other increases with every passing day. meher pushed away preet and preet was confused.
preet(really annoyed now): ab kya hua meher?!!!!
meher: aik baar main samajh nahi aati tumhe? maine kya kaha tha? mujhe haath nahi lagaogay jab tak tumhara haath theek nahi ho jata
preet: meher…(preet didnt know what to say. how could stay away from meher for so long?? his face looked liked he would cry any minute)
meher burst out laughing: preet shakal to dekho apni.main mazak ker rahi thi. i know tumne jo hua woh aik accident tha magar ainda tum apna khayal rakhna please. main bhi basrdaasht nahi ker sakti ke tum hurt ho.
preet: i am a man meher.main yeh sab bardaasht ker sakta hun.
ignoring his comments, meher pulled preet in a hug and preet smiled to himself that his wife could fool him so easily. later at night, meher was combing her hair after making gungun sleep. preet was already in bed. the whole family was taking good care of him and he liked that. meher also went to the bed and laid beside him. he came closer to her and gave her a goodnight kiss on her lips. meher realized something.
meher: preet tumhari kameez kahan hai? (she realized he was not wearing his shirt and she could feel his bare chest)
preet: woh meher mere haath par lagi hui hai na to mujhse pehni nahi gayi
meher: mujhe bol daitay main help ker daiti
preet: choro na meher. subah help ker daina. abhi kaun hai jo kameez ki zaroorat ho. (saying this he put his arms around meher and closed his eyes and smiled. thinking to himself: kya idea tha preet beta! you are a genius)
after few minutes of silence preet said: i love you meher
meher: i love you too preet
they both slept peacefully in each others arms. there was no danger in their lives. even if there was, preet was protecting meher. it was a perfect world. their world. which only had love.
