Same here Lana....Its sad I couldn't find time to read the rest of the debate that happened after I left...
I think members of this forum, especially those who frequent the EDT are very very sensible and I really love debating and discussing stuff with you all....
I feel its fun to debate on the situations and the characters as we will get to see different view points and in the process we learn a lot of things too...
If nothing its a good time killer....as most of us watch just this one show....On a side note, I really wonder how some people manage to watch more than one show...I mean how can one afford to be loyal to more than one show...
Raksha same here. I always favor a healthy discussion, brings so much more perspective to our thoughts & POV's. I read the rest of the discussion of y'day today afternoon when I had some time. And yes watching this one show keeps me focused on the storyline & characters all the time, another show would have made me crazy. I simply don't know how people manage more than 1 show. Though its out of context I have to say I am happy I watch only this show. Y'day while surfing the channels I just stumbled upon some show in Star 1, Mile jab hum tum & for a moment I watched it. Because I heard Pride & Prejudice & immediately my antenna went up. There was this lady explaining the story (I remember seeing her in Kutumb) & u know she kept referring P&P as a drama by Austen & moreover its a story of 4 sisters!!! 😲😲 I felt like screaming at her, why don't they get their facts right I wonder! I am very possessive of P&P. Anyway then I was thinking thank god i don't watch more than 1 show, this occupies my thought for 24/7, what would i do if some more shows sits upon my head, I will forget who I am! 😃
@ Your doubt...
I will share with you my POV...
If you carefully follow the scene, its very clear to both Prem and Heer that G3 was being maha sarcastic and doesn't really mean it when she asked Heer to come back to the Zoo...I think here we are all on the same page... Yes agreed 100%. But have to give credit to Shama Deshpande for enacting the role to perfection, we loved her when she was a out of the world mom & now we r despising her. Very good job.
Not only was she sarcastic but she knew she lost Prem here & that was killing her ego & soul. As she said Prem had blind faith in her & without a question followed her orders but suddenly she realised his love & belief in her is wavering & that she couldn't digest. Prem being the righteous guy who never could lie to her openly lied to be with Heer (that is what she thought) made her so desperate right in front of him. She felt him slipping away from her fingers. So on top of the sarcasm she went ahead & did the gravest of mistake of being spiteful & malicious to Heer in front of Prem! But that statement still makes me wonder, whose home was she referring to? Did she mean the relationship between Prem & her which symbolised her home which is broken, or because all the family members r annoyed with her at home that's why she feels her home is broken or is it because she thinks Heer is the cause of Veera's broken relationship & home or all the above??? 😕 On the other hand it was her who was breaking Heer's home & relationship! And Oh I was ecstatic when G3 said u chose Heer over me.....it was simply SWEET!!!
Now what made Prem ask Heer to come back despite being aware of G3 and her opinion of Heer...I think he realized that he was playing a losing game by trying to assure G3 of his love for her by choosing her against Heer...I think he realized that this is not what needs to be done to assure her of his love....He at first did what he did to let G3 realize what she asked of him on her own, but now after hearing her talk to Heer one on one(for the first time), he understood the real magnitude of the situation......
Yeah I understand what u mean here. After watching the scene on TV I saw the change in his expression after G3 told Heer that statement. They focused on him & on his change of facial expression. He realised that Heer was right all along which he subconsciously knew but G3's false tears misled him so far but now it came to his perspective that it was G3 who was the cause of Heer's tears & not the other way round. And the amplitude of his own mistake of throwing Heer out of the house dawned on him. This realisation also played a pivotal role here & he had to mend the wrong he did. He realised his God was human after all!!
If you closely observe Prem...there was this determined look on his face and the way he repeats ' Ghar chalo Heer' says it all....I think his 'if G3 is my farz, you are my zimmedari'- is his rehtoric to G3 and the situation that they were in currently.....
Umm...realistically speaking...it is the creatives way of bringing Prem back to his original self and getting Heer back to the Zoo so that they can put her through more hell...
Yeah as I mentioned above about the realisation that he had then after G3's retort to Heer. I loved the emphasis he put on 'ghar chalo Heer'. But u know though in his own way he said what he went through al this while for what he did to her & though Heer said she is not angry with him but here I wanted him to say something more to that effect, that how he was misled by G3 & did something very grave to Heer & now he wants to rectify those wrongs. But anyway these 2 were never ever so verbal, so will take it. When he realised the situation Heer was in, afterall her self-respect was in question when she said I won't go without ma's permission, then he opted for taking her to Nihaal's & have a word with G3. This is something I will be looking forward to tomorrow. The body language along with the words will be of immense importance, how Prem confronts G3 & what she might have to say other than being more sarcastic & hurting him mentally with her snide remarks & as a last straw the 'sautela' word will come up. More than G3 I will keep an eye for Prem, how he will handle it! Will he be heartbroken like before or this time will he respond like Kuldi did about proving his love for her, proving his 'sagapan' to her! Finally that bubble will burst from both side.
And I still think that 'zimmedari' dialog wasn't totally out of place. Before that he said he can't live without her which means he loves her, she is part of him & not only she is his heartbeat but truly his responsibility as well. When u marry a person u do happen to have a responsibility towards ur spouse. So if he being a devoted son is doing all his duties then as a husband he will take care of his responsibility as well. Very pointedly he left the word 'love' out from both G3 & Heer, love by default is there, he doesn't need to emphasise on that but along with their eternal love he also has a responsibility to uphold Heer's honor & respect to the world & that he will do now. Its part & parcel of marriage, whether u r an eternal couple or some ordinary regular couple. So that statement from him I didn't mind. If he meant she was only an responsibility then it would have been different but just before when he said he can't live without her he emphasised what she is to him so I was ok with it. Moreover he has to mend the wrong he did by being responsible now.
And the creative's intentions to redeem Prem in our eyes with this Kasauli episode I already spoke in my other post to u. Also gave us his POV & cleared the misunderstandings between them.
Here is a Utube video of the the third part...I know what you are saying about the site logo sitting right on their eyes...I don't know.why they do it...its quite irritating....
Tell me about it. Why do they have to put the logo on the eyes & it keeps staying there for quite some seconds before it moves to the corner. Its very irritating I tell u. All the expressions, emotions, feelings gets distorted if I can't see the eyes. Wish they realise this soon.
Raksha as usual a pleasure to have the discussion. Sorry for being late, had pending work to finish. But again had a lot of fun.
@Purvi: Hiii...chalo kaam pe lag jao then...Lana already started the topic...
@ Purvi - I know I was annoyed at Meet in the morning & still am to some extent though it has lessened a lot. U know when they didn't come forward they indirectly made it inevitable that Premeer was meeting in secrecy! Though it might have made no effect on G3 but still! And I know they themselves would have been exposed to Premeer who might have gotten hurt! But it will be out in the open soon I think, since Maya knows & so does G3. But at that spur of the moment I felt Meet should have come to the forefront & tell G3 why Premeer were there, on their pretext.
And I know Heer has to return to Jzoo for the story to move forward so that there is lots of drama & how she will suffer quietly putting up a smiling brave front in front of Prem without a word of how the trio Veera, Maya & G3 r behaving with her. Prem won't even know about this or as I wrote in the morning G3 might be very intelligent & do something so cunning that Prem will be taken for a ride by her with her fake tears & acting.
This is the reason I don't want Heer to go back but well, she will in any case to move the story forward. Just hope Meet is there to help her.
